Absolutely the best services I’ve ever had from a vet. They are consistently better priced than anywhere else. The staff has always been super helpful and flexible.

When this place was The Pet Vet, they were great with my dog. I made the appointment, which was very limited and I was told they are only 15 minutes long. That’s all the time Vetco spends with your pet. They called the day of the appointment stating the veterinarian needed to leave at the time of our appointment and we would need to bring our dog in earlier. At this appointment, they decided they couldn’t perform the fecal exam and gave us a container to do it ourselves. Then, they sent us home with his annual dewormer. Why couldn’t they give it to him orally themselves? They charged for the services that we are having to perform ourselves. Not only that, but when we asked them to trim his nails, they said he was “thrashing” and they couldn’t clip his nails, yet they charged $35 for this service they didn’t perform. Previously, it was only $15 to trim nails. Our dog is 13 and we’ve never had a vet or groomer that couldn’t clip his nails. Last time I took him for his annual vaccinations, heart guard and tick & flea treatment, it was $280. This time, it was $375. Absolutely NOT worth the services we received. I will NEVER take my dog back there again!

I took my senior dog and staff was very nice! GiGi came for her annual shots and all went well. I ask for prescription for heartworm protection because it's cheaper to get it filled by a 3rd party but instead it was included on my bill and I didn't notice until I made it home and saw them in my bag but they said I could bring them back for a refund. I kept it but my point is they were willing to take it back to correct the misunderstanding. GiGi has since passed away :( but I have a puppy who will be going for shots. I like this place and their prices are good compared to others nearby.

What a great place to take your pet! They do stay relatively booked just as with any other doctor's office, they do have same day appointments occasionally but do not take walk-ins. The staff is amazing and care about your pets. Yes all services are done in the back due to COVID and liabilities but you will almost always speak with the vet who saw your pet. I just moved from out of state and am very satisfied with my choice to come here. Highly recommend this place. As per other reviews they do not offer emergency services since it is not an ER Pet Care. Just like if you had an emergency, you would go to the ER if needed and not your primary doctor. All in all I love everything about the services and staff!!

We have been using this clinic for about 2 years. Be aware that they don't do same day appointments. If your pet has an urgent need they recommend you take it to an ER if you can't wait a few days for a regular appointment.

I would not recommend this place for eye surgery. My dog had a cherry eye surgery on June 3rd. The staff was nice at the beginning, they did the surgery and we took our baby home. Two weeks later, she developed an ulcer in her eye, she was in a lot of pain and we called to make an appointment and they were “booked” and told us to call the other location. We called Allen location and even though they were also booked, they took the time and make an appointment with them (since Allen location did not performed the eye surgery, they were a little lost on what what happening). The doctor that did the surgery was never available for any question post surgery. We had to make an appointment with an eye specialist and they explained to us that the suture they used on my dog’s eye was still inside her eye (this is why the ulcer was no healing at all, it was getting worse every day because of the type of suture they use) and that she had to go for surgery for the second time. She is now recovering for her second surgery and looks 1000 time better now. We have paid over $2500 on surgery, appointments and medicine. I would recommend the Allen location for appointments though, they were really nice and helpful even though they did not know a lot about eye surgery.

We had an appointment today and I even called them when I was on my way here to confirm our appt and when we got here the big guy at the front played dumb and said that he couldn’t see our appt when I had just spoke to him over the phone, Not professional at all.

Been to this location couple of times. Seems inexpensive compared to others. But we did not meet the Vet and only the assistants. Dog care is done inside and no way to see what is happening and to calm the pet. It would be great to meet the Vet, be with the pet during treatment when possible. They have an app to manage the treatments which is nice.

Pet care we received and counsel about our elderly dog was exactly what we needed. Guidance and careful with how they handled our old man Zeus , 15 yr old Maltese.

Nice staff, I feel they are more pricey than the mom and pop vet.

Took our pug here today after she had Hives for 24 hours. We were able to get her an appointment quickly. The staff treated us so friendly from the moment we walked in. We have been here a few times for minor things like vaccines and check ups but never for any type of illness. Our nerves were calmed and we felt like we were in good hands the entire time. The doctor came in and explained everything to us in terms we understood, and made sure we were on board before any type of treatment was administered. Luckily it was a mild allergic reaction to something, but I am very comfortable bringing her back in the event anything happens to her again in the future. I highly recommend this place to anyone searching out a vet for their pet.

"I had a HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE experience here." I’ve been a customer for years. Today my dog had a cut on her paw. I called the Pet Vet around 1pm and they told me they could not see her until Wednesday of next week. I should go to another veterinarian. I was shocked! They were rude, obnoxious and hurtful. I will obviously never walk back in there again. I now have a new veterinarian that cares about my dog

Seen us right away on a Sunday, friendly staff, gave us care options and costs before providing treatment. Took wonderful care of our old man. Only con, small waiting room.

These guys are honestly better than a mom and pop vet we had been taking our cat to. So affordable and can usually get you in super quickly.

Our vet didn't have availability to neuter our dog before we needed to go out of town at the end of the month so we reached out to The Pet Vet. I spoke with their office before setting up the initial consult appointment to get specifics on pricing, which by the way seemed incredibly reasonable. We took our dog to the initial consult and all seemed to be a go for the surgery, after an office visit charge, which was again not unreasonable. When I checked out I asked for the pricing again for the surgery the next day and was told that they would get a detailed pricing to me when we dropped him off. Okay, what? That seemed odd to me and so I called them after returning home and was told they could send the pricing over at that moment. The actual amount was almost DOUBLE what I was quoted after my initial, detailed, phone conversation before the initial visit. After calling out that there were charges that should have been included in that initial pricing and going through everything with her on the phone the math still didn't even add up right. Then somehow miraculously, after calling it out, they send a revised, and lesser amount, pricing, still higher than I was first quoted. It felt, to me, that this is the tactic they use. Quote a price then lay out the actual pricing when the customer shows up to drop off their pet, which I'm sure at that stage makes it much more difficult for the customer to argue it. I feel bad for the older customers, or maybe those who don't question these kinds of tactics, as they are being taken advantage of, again in my opinion. Thankfully our vet made the time for us and BTW did it for MUCH less than what it would have been at The Pet Vet and included things that The Pet Vet were trying to upsell us on. I will say the people there seemed lovely and I have no complaints about the actual employees but I feel that their corporate policies lend to taking advantage of people. A kind of bait and switch situation. I would recommend that everyone check out CityVet on Lebanon. They are the best and most honest vets we have ever dealt with.

Lady put me on hold immediately as soon as I called. After waiting 4 minutes, I just hung up. Bad service.

Although my dog hates going to the vet, the doctors and staff are great with her. If she has a shot they will give me a wellness call just to make sure she is okay.

Bait and switch pricing, all about the money. I called and asked what they charge to have our female golden retriever fixed and leaving her ovaries in tact. I was quoted $400 for the surgery. $50 for the hood and medications. My husband paid in advance. We called and checked on her throughout the day. When I picked her up the price jumped by almost another $50. I spoke to the manager and said he could not explain why the price increased. I let him know I didn't appreciate the dishonesty and suggested they provide accurate pricing over the phone and train his staff to do so. His solution was to eliminate the hood but said didn't recommend it. Manager had a snarky patronizing attitude. Could not understand why I customer would agree to pay one price and then question why you lied and raised the price. (All they had to do was say the price range is as high as $679, versus quoting me $450.) Of course I did NOT eliminate the hood and risk she could pull at her stitches. He gave us medications and that was it. I had to request to speak with the Vet to review her: medication plan, get her post op instructions, and find out when she will be seen next. Then asked for staff to help me safely load her in my SUV. The Vet was okay, not exceptional. Lady who helped me load our precious baby was caring and helpful. She should be running the office. We will be switching Vets due to the Manager's attitude and inability to train his phone team properly. HONESTY and EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS MATTER!

I took my sick puppy here because they were open on a Sunday and advertised themselves as a low cost vet clinic with $15 exams. I wish I had just gone to the emergency vet instead, the cost would have been close to the same. The technician did not seem knowledgeable or thorough, only asking “what’s wrong” and not questioning any further. The vet was very personable but did not seem to know how to examine a neonatal puppy thoroughly, checking pulse and respirations only. I was charged an additional $40 for “vet consultation”... shouldn’t that be a part of the EXAM (or lack there of in our case)?!? The standard of care was nowhere near what I am accustomed to at my normal vet.

Didn’t really took care of my dog properly when she had a skin infection. Initially, they tried to treat my dog without the vet even assessing her. Gave me some ridiculous possibilities and upcharge me with false advertising. When I got …

When we first started going to this get, Dr. Morrow is the one we would see. He was wonderful and provided his most honest opinion. He has since gone to another location but we have remained at this location. The vets here as wonderful along with the staff. We have been going to this location for 7 years. My furboy recently had bladder stones and they scheduled his surgery quickly and walked is every step of the way. Very thorough and checked in him during his recovery. My family and I are very grateful. Shout out to Frisco Emergency Pet Care as they advised us of the stones and told us about the blockage. Both are life savers.
