Dr. Buffington has taken care of my 13 year old poodle since I got him as a puppy. He and his staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Best vet in Frisco, TX.

We've been with Dr. Huffington for over 26 years. We wouldn't trust our babies with anyone else. Not only is he thorough, he understands quality of life and works to maintain it for pets and owners. We appreciate Stonebrook Family Pet Clinic.

Everyone here is wonderful and caring. They are great with both of my dogs (and one of my dogs is actually pretty difficult). In the past they have squeezed me in for urgent situations even when we were not a patient/ client yet. This is actually one of the top reasons I switched to them about a year ago. They address all my concerns and they do not over test just to get the bill up higher like some offices. I love everyone there and highly recommend if you want a vet that is caring, efficient and cost effective all at the same time.

We have been coming to Dr. Buffington for 4 years now. Over the years Dr. Buffington and his staff have been AMAZING! They are always kind and so caring. He truly explains everything and is very transparent.

I could not ask for any better care for my dog than Dr. Buffington and his staff. They have always been very responsive to our questions and concerns for our dog. They usually can get us in pretty quickly and are very reasonable in my opinion on fees. We just recently brought our dog up there and they not only got us in that same day, they spent a lot of time talking with us, answering questions and examining our dog to rule things out. I’m very appreciative of the follow up texts as well to check on our dog. Overall wonderful place to take your pet for vet needs!

We have used Dr. Buffington for our beloved pets for almost 20 years. He is compassionate and professional and takes time with the pet parent to discuss the issues and answer questions. The staff is consistently professional and caring. I would highly recommend this vet and clinic. They are trustworthy and treat their clients and pets with great care.

Although they take great care of my dog and are always friendly and professional, I truly appreciate the fact that I'm not waiting for very long before or when we get into a room. It's just so nice that they're very mindful of my time as well.

Can’t say enough great things about my first 2 visits to Stonebrook Family Pet Clinic. Very professional and caring staff that actually read the notes as to why you are bringing your pet in. Dr. Buffington was more than happy to answer all our questions and definitely was not condescending. I’m glad we made the change to start bringing our beloved Australian Shepherds here!

I have been coming here for YEARS! Best vet ever! Everyone is so nice and does a great job. All my pets are happy coming and going! They go above and beyond. They saved one of my cats lives! He’s 20 years old and still kickin it… thank you for loving and caring for my pets like your one of your own!

I've tried to leave a review before, but for some reason it was taken down. Gist of it is - I would not recommend this place unless you have money to burn. Expensive and pushy - they try *very* hard to push you into extra services you don't need and act like you're doing something wrong when you say no thank you. Husband dropped my dog off (wasn't able to go inside b/c of covid restrictions) and came back to an over $500 vet bill after he told them he didn't want the senior exam. They added so many other things we didn't ask for or agree to. We won't be going back.

We've been seeing this office for years now and have always been very satisfied with the quality of care and professionalism. Dr Buffington is very knowledgeable and has helped us with both our dogs on several occasions, always resolving the issues with success. I appreciate that they won't push vaccines, but will agree to titer testing, while always making sure we are aware of the pros and cons of both sides. I feel like my voice is being heard and even if in disagreement, respected. Contradictory to a previous review, I want to say that I've never been pushed to accept any extra services or have never been charged anything I didn't agree to. They always present a recommended list of procedures and you have the freedom to cross off whatever services you'd like to skip at that visit. Charges are never a surprise, but if in doubt, you can always ask to make sure the amount that will be charged is clear and agreed to. I highly recommend Dr Buffington to anyone who's looking for quality care for their pet.

Had an excellent first visit with Gordo and Payton. Robert and Dr. Buffington were great and my Payton is already feeling better with the treatment plan! Super place, very clean and friendly and close to home. I highly recommend the clinic for anyone in the Frisco/Little Elm/Prosper area.

I wouldn't trust my Teacup Pomeranian trip anyone else's care than the staff at Stonebrook Family Pet Clinic! Online chat is available, as well as the ability to request/schedule an appointment. Same-day appointments are often available if you have an issue with your pet and need care in a timely fashion. Grooming services are available, and the prices for vaccinations are very inexpensive. My dog, Diablo, enjoys her visits here!

I made an appointment with this vet as a second opinion for a serious medical condition. The vet clinic I've used for 20 years has changed hands and just doesn't give the quality of care they use to. I was very concerned because of the diagnosis, but more so about the way everything was handled at my previous vet. My first impressions of Stonebrook is that it's a gorgeous facility and the staff was really efficient and nice. Then I visited with the vet and his tech. He was very thorough, professional and empathetic. I could tell he had a lot of experience and my dog's condition was not new at all to him. He had a very conservative approach and really put me at ease with dealing with the condition and the upside of the prognosis. He also didn't treat us like we're just another diagnosis that has no impact on the people that love their pet. While the diagnosis is the same, I feel better about the prognosis and our ability to manage it for the longest possible time, along with her quality of life. Thanks to all of you and you will be my new 20 year vet for all of my pets!
