Petco Frisco, Texas

This poor Petco has really gone downhill! The remodel is taking forever and it’s just so messy and unorganized after 6 months. After a few visits recently I felt i needed to post about the grooming. I’ve been going to Petco for grooming 4 dogs over 20 years and it is a horrible experience now. The grooming is SOOO expensive and complicated. Price increase after price increase. My 90 lb dog is $101 for grooming, plus shave brush out fee of $15 (whatever that is other than an add on) then $12 to brush teeth (I requested that), AND a hilarious materials fee of $2.99. I don’t even get the shampoo to wash my dog..I have to pay a fee for that. $131 + $20 tip!!! Discount this time since I had some loyalty dollars. They also wouldn’t take one of my dogs because they had had vaccinations the day of grooming which apparently is a new policy! It’s like they don’t want my money. The employees are soo nice and helpful, which is why I gave them a 2.

The staff was extremely helpful. we have a new puppy and needed some things that our vet recommended. They were very patient and help me walk through the list of items to find the right fit etc for our puppy. Every member of the staff was helpful. Even before we got our puppy the staff offered helpful things to find the right puppy. Thanks for all your help!

Excellent as normal me and my animal received excellent service

Store is going through some much needed make-overs. Service is spotty at times. They seem understaffed a bit. Overall a good store with limited selections

NOT WILLING TO GIVE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I have been getting my Dog groomed here since he was a puppy and service has been ok , but this time they decide that my rabbies proof is not Adequate for them. My dog has his rabbies tags and I can show proof of who did it and when but that's not good enough they want a hand written letter from the vet. I asked for the manager and he did not seem that customer satisfaction is important, so I ask or a district manager and I call him and no answer as well as no voice-mail, what kind of district manager does not have a voice-mail?? I will be taking my services to someone who cares more about CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I DO NOT recommend anyone to ever take their pet to this place to get groomed . These people have young inexperienced workers cutting on animas. These people shave all of my Yorkie whiskers off & left his mouth area severely irritated and red. His paws were not trim correct , they left my puppy a MESS . They also cut my Yorkies right ear very badly and called us & asked for permission to take him to their Vet. They lied to us and said it was just a niche and it was NOT. They had no remorse for this incident, almost as if this is NORMAL to them. My pup is TRAUMATIZED . Be AWARE . I’ve shared pictures of his previous groomer work and PETCOs work. Please hire fully experienced / fully trained groomers .

ROBERT IS FANTASTIC! I came into the store and asked for a couple of items. The first associate I spoke to didn’t really care to help. She simply said “it’s in the back all the way down.” I literally head down the aisle….and 30 seconds later.. BOOM ROBERT!!!OH BOY! Robert came out of nowhere and literally helped me and my husband with everything! I mean the BEST service I have EVER received walking into a store. We got help from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. Will definitely be coming back to this petco! Great service from Rob! Thank

Grooming... Dropped my dog off & Diana stated my dog had mats. Asked her to show me multiple times & she could only point to one (1) mat in my dog's right hind leg. Then she mentioned again that my dog has a lot of mats, but could not show me anywhere other than the 1. Then, she finally conceded & said she would call me if she runs issues. Received NO CALLS. Picked up my dog & she charged me $40-$50 & stated that it took her "an hour" to de-mat my Shih Tzu (small breed) with a 1-inch length... (Of course, she was not present when I picked up my dog, & no way, I should have been charged for 1 mat. I should have taken a video, but will definitely do that next time. Been going to Petco for years, but this is the 1st time a groomer should be questioned about services that were NOT rendered.

They need to really improve on their cutomer service. No one acted like they wanted to help us there was merchandise in the isles and a lot of empty space on the shelves. Total thumbs down for my kids first experience.

We came to shop dog bed which we had many options for that.

Guess who just got done at the groomer!? Courtney at this location always does such a great job on Macey Grace and she makes the bows herself!

I love Petco for my dog's needs. I get my dog groomed here by Ms. Vicki. She's is very kind, experienced, patient and good at what she does. She only works Monday - Friday. If you book with her, please consider a tip of your budget allows. She's worth it. I just wanted my toy poodle Izzy trimmed and not cut down to much this visit.

Horrible place for Dog grooming. Will never go there again.

After using the same grooming and boarding place here in Frisco for over 10 years and having recent terrible experiences, I took the recommendation of a close friend of mine and took both my dogs to Petco to get groomed by Kayla. She was great! She was super helpful during checkin and very thorough with her questions and getting to know my dogs and what I wanted beforehand. She did a great job grooming them and even told me how I could save money in the app on grooming appointments. We’ll definitely be back and I’m very happy to have found a new place for my pets to be groomed.

Stopped by with my wife and son yesterday. Was curious about snake information and they were fast to help. We went to a Petsmart close by and they only care to help if you purchase the snake that day. Thankful these guys weren’t as greedy. If I’m buying one I’ll definitely be back to this location. Guy who helped me with the snake information was great. I forgot your name, but he knows who he is.

Nice place to get dog toys, Im also looking into dog training there.
