I would imagine that clients are in two different categorys. 1. Needing this for family pet help expedient and 2. Those truly having a difficult decision and keep changing the appointment log. Either one is still very difficult and heartbreaking. The only thing I wish is that contact were immediate and information forthcoming instead of back & forth and then no follow-up. Thats what happened with us. We would have liked very much a in home but had to choose to take our friend and family member into their vet. So that would be my only constructive criticism. The timely follow-up whether by text, phone, or web. I would say this to the clients that the doctors & their staffs time is valuable. It is tough when these kinds of things are hanging.

Such a compassionate group. We were able to schedule our pet’s path to the rainbow bridge with ease. I don’t remember who came to our house as we were sad. The ladies were nice, calm, and understanding. They explained everything to us including how to handle our other dog. This is never easy and I would recommend this group. Their office is quick to response. I appreciate them all very much!!

Dr. Pearson and her assistant helped us with the hardest day of our lives when our beautiful boy needed to be set free of his pain. We couldn’t imagine taking him to a place that caused stress and anxiety, so we knew having someone come to our home was a must. He was able to fall asleep while happily licking a bowl of peanut butter as we loved him and said our goodbyes. It has been an absolutely agonizing couple of weeks, but this was the best decision for our family. We also chose a private cremation, and his remains were delivered to us a week later. We spent $800 all together.

It goes without saying that I wish I had not needed to contact Peaceful Pathways. However, given the circumstances, I am thankful I did. After deciding that letting my cat go was the best decision for her I immediately decided I was not going to put her through a trip to the vet's office. With her illness, fatigue and anxiety I'm not sure she would have survived the trip, and if she had it would have been very traumatizing, something she didn't need and certainly didn't deserve. Online reviews led me to contact Dr Pearson, who asked many questions about my furry companion and advised what the process would be like. On the day of there were no surprises, the process went as described and with compassion, a last request to let her pass in her favorite patch of grass was accommodated without missing a beat. I hate that she's gone but at least she was able to leave peacefully, with dignity and grace, resting in familiar surroundings.

Dr. Pearson and her assistant were a godsend when our beloved poodle Fluffy was too sick and in pain to go on. We were all anxious and grief-stricken, but Dr. Pearson and her assistant made the process of letting our good boy go, so much easier. Fluffy always hated the doctor's office, shaking and panting the whole time, every single visit for almost 15 years. We couldn't bear the thought of him taking his last breath in an environment he found frightening. With Dr. Pearson, we were able to hug our good boy and say our final goodbyes in the comfort and peace of our home and his, with him in his favorite bed. Thank you Dr. Pearson for providing such a humane and necessary service to both pet lovers and their sweet pets.

I am so glad to have contacted them. They responded in less than 24 hours and scheduled us on a Sunday. The business process was up front and easily handled. Dr. Ratner and her technician Denise were not only professional but extremely sensitive and caring. Losing a pet is hard, end of story. Even though this is a service being offered and they perform many at-home euthanasia procedures every day, it was obvious that the ladies who helped us cared very much about my cat's comfort and my family's loss. I wouldn't want anyone else to have helped to ease my sick kitty's way across to the other side. Their help is worth every penny, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

It's been a month now since we had to say our final goodbye to our beloved Homer Bear. And although still grief-stricken, our hearts are filled with joy and gratitude that we were led to Dr. Melissa Pearson by 3 unrelated people. She and her assistant were both genuinely caring and compassionate and helped us through that most heartbreaking day. And because of them, our little fluff boy transitioned calmly and peacefully in my arms; that in itself has helped us in the healing process. Also, the way her sweet assistant gently wrapped my boy in a blanket and held him like a baby after it was all said and done was so touching. They are both truly angels on earth and a gift to the world... beautiful, calming and a light in every way. Thank you Dr. Pearson. Your love for animals really show.

Cannot recommend Dr Pearson enough. We will recommend to anyone, anytime home services are needed. We will never take an elderly pet into a vet office ever again. It is not worth traumatizing your pet when services like Peaceful Pathways is available.

Dr Pearson and the technician were fabulous helping my Bruin pass at home. Bruin was a very large dog and could no longer walk. Dr Pearson and the technician came to the house, just after the huge TX winter storm and during the covid pandemic (something my own vet wouldn’t do..). They explained and thought of everything, they were caring and gentle with Bruin, patiently waited outside after so my other dogs and I could visit with him and they even removed him and arranged his cremation and I have his ashes in a very nice urn. They even provided literature and tips on grieving for your pet. They made a really difficult decision so much more manageable!! DC

I am beyond grateful for Dr. Pearson and her assistant. I couldn’t stomach the idea of taking my best friend to her vet’s office to pass. Thankfully in my panic and grief on a Saturday night I texted Peaceful Pathways and explained our situation and Dr. Pearson responded first thing Sunday morning. Dr. Pearson was able to come to my home just hours later to give my 14 year old Molly girl the dignified and beautiful passing that she earned and deserved. Thank you so, so much.

Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Pearson for responding quickly. Our 10 year old boxer, Griffin, had been suffering from multiple issues for months when he suddenly stopped eating one evening. He had a very rough night and didn't even make it for Dr. Pearson to arrive before passing. Just the return of a text saying, 'We have a full schedule, but I'll squeeze you in" was what I needed to hear. Help was on the way. The doctor and her assistant were so well prepared when they arrived, but Griffin had passed just minutes before they were able to get there. I just wanted to say thanks again for your responsiveness and compassion. My wife and I very much appreciate everything you did for us.

I highly recommend Dr. Pearson. I knew that my sweet kitty was sick for a few months and had made the hard decision that when her time was ready I planned on her passing at home in her favorite place in the house. It was already a hard time …

All of my dogs over the last 40 years have been special, but this one was even more so. She was the last link to my mother, and was more tightly bonded to me than most of the others. Like a person, she was a strong personality, but isolated by failing health and blindness, and extremely dependent on me and my wife. It was a traumatic but unavoidable decision. Having this done at home, in my arms, was absolutely the most comforting solution. Dr Pearson was great, and gave us the chance to say goodby in our own way, without the clinical setting. I highly recommend Dr Pearson.

To say these ladies are compassionate to your feelings and your needs during such a difficult time; is an understatement. I don’t know how I would have endured this day without them. I highly recommend this at home service and will definitely use them again. I can’t imagine a better experience on such a gut wrenching day. My Bella passed peacefully today amongst people that loved her, and ones that understood our pain. Thank you, peaceful pathways for an amazing experience. I cannot express my gratitude enough.

Under the circumstances, this was our best experience. We have had to euthanize 3 other pets in the last 30 years. Dr. Pearson came to our home. She was kind and empathetic. I have referred her at least a dozen times to friends and family. They all have had a positive reviews.

From the moment I reached out to Dr. Pearson at Peaceful Pathways For Pets I was treated very well, communication was fast and easy and she made any and all accommodations needed to take care of my Yorkie Madison. Needless to say this was a very hard time for my family and I and Dr. Pearson treated the process with us professionally, with compassion and showed true caring to our old girl Madison. If you're looking for a truly relaxed and respectful way to see your old or sick pet off to rainbow bridge I would highly recommend giving Dr. Pearson and Peaceful Pathways For Pets a call.
