If you love your pet avoid this place. They only care about getting as much dogs as possible, as long as they do not need to do anything in exchange. They do not care about your dog at all. I was traveling internationally in the holidays and they asked me to pick my dog up because my dog got hurt and got grumpy after that, they only needed to give him sometime and take care of this situation, But not, they made me return from other country instead of managing the situation, they do not care. The worst service ever. I lost my entire vacation.

My dog loves going to LDR Doggie Daycare/Playcare! It's a nice facility...and my dog always has a good time. As an added bonus, he is completely worn out for several days after his visit. It's a nice break for the owner of a 16 month old dog with tons of energy!

Well today was the last straw. I had been bringing my dog since she was five month old to legacy. She is now almost 11 months. I never had a problem until recently. I unexpectedly got a call from the owner, stating that my puppy was beginning to act out. The owner stated she was caught chewing on the fence, and somehow set off the alarm for the splash pad. All of this I thoroughly believe, was to get me to sign up for 10 days of training which would somehow miraculously get her from doing the things that they claim she was doing. Nothing of which she does at other daycares or at home . At a cost of $1700. Today, I took her in and due to the fact that I may have to have pending surgery, I told the trainer that I could not afford both the training, and my surgery. Not 15 minutes later I get a call back saying that my puppy was again chewing on the fence. She supposedly chewed approximately 6-10 inches of the fence. Wow, she needs to not be a Boxer and be a beaver! I asked what would be causing this behavior issue? The response I got was bringing her to daycare too much? She might get bored! Look I have had a dog training business for 16 years. It is not boredom. It is however a we don’t want your business because you are not buying our upscale. When I asked to see photos of her doing it, all I got were pictures from one of the staffs phone that I watched him on the ODoggy app go take. Not of her actually chewing it but just the fence. I watched her on that app as well and I did not witness her doing anything. The pictures they showed me prove nothing. In fact one of them was at a level that she would have to be standing on her hind legs and reaching upward to chew. She is not a tall dog. That would have been noticed by staff if they ever got off their phones. Today for the amount she supposed have chewed, in the 15 minutes she was there after the "trainer" said he would go out there and be with her. Funny how if the trainer is there and still allows her todo this in his presence, I would have wasted 1700! Nonetheless I will continue to take her to the daycare's in which she doesn't have any issue and there is not 100 dogs to one staff. Use if you want but if you do know that there are better places out there.

We had such a great experience here! I love that doggy daycare is drop in - no reservation needed. Our goldendoodle got all of his energy out. The staff is awesome and very efficient at drop off and pick up. Prices are reasonable & we typically did the 5 day pass.

Wow such an amazing place!! Nothing but good things to say about this place! They will be our regular for boarding/day care for our dog!!! Our dog ran out of food while they had her for a week and our dog has a crazy sensitive stomach and the lady their went to the store and bought her chicken and rice, no charge to us, so that she could have food that wouldn’t bother her stomach!!! Just above and beyond! And on top of that, they definitely gave her a bath before we picked her up because she was as clean as could be when we picked her up! Love love that we finally found a place to trust leaving our fur baby at!

Best dog care in North Frisco, if not all Frisco. Recently renovated with great staff, indoor and outdoor spaces. Competitive rates and long weekday hours to accommodate long workhours. Boarding has been a low stress affair for my dog and me. Couldn't ask for more.

Was debating on giving this place a one star since my pups love the staff more than they love me lol. In all seriousness this place is awesome, my pups love going to daycare and they come home exhausted, they are regulars. The bundle plans are a great value!

Legacy had a big challenge to live up to. My little yorkie was rescued from a bad home and suffers from some of the worst separation anxiety his vet has ever heard of. We knew we couldn't leave him home alone so we found daycare to be our safest option. Before moving to Texas, my wife and I lived in Wisconsin and the puppy daycare up their treated Sparky like he was their mascot. We always felt safe and comfortable taking him. When we came to Texas we were worried we wouldn't be able to find a way to replicate that for him. We tried 2 other daycares before Legacy, both with great reviews and were unbelievably let down. Finally we had someone recommend Legacy too us. We spoke to Scott and explained how our little dude has really bad Anxiety, is a self harmer, and may be a bit of extra work; completely understanding if it may be too much work for the daycare to handle. Instead Legacy has gone above and beyond. The staff is so friendly and I really feel like they love my dog as much as I do. They get so excited to watch him carry his toy in and out the door, they set him up in a little room for lunch, and I have seen some workers even spend time just loving him on the cameras. Today we learned that lately they've even had someone spend some time with him during lunch to help his anxiety calm down enough to eat his food... It almost brought my wife and I to tears. His daycare in wisconsin took good care of him, but Legacy went an extra mile big time. You guys really are the best daycare I have seen, I only wish we could thank you more. Sparky really loves you and I have never seen him so happy to run through the door in the morning, and so pooped when he gets home. We look forward to many more years of trusting you guys with our little man.

We've been taking our dogs here for years, they are attentive and our dogs go crazy at the mere mention of going to 'puppytown'!

I never got a chance to even take my dog here. In their pre-paperwork information they ask for details about the dog. I told them that our dog does not like when other dogs get into it so he interjects himself to try and break it up and because of this they gave me a flat out no that they would not accept him even for a temperament test half day which is unfortunate. I think all dogs no matter the breed should at least be given a fair shot to see how they do and if for some outlandish reason something were to happen then I understand not allowing them back - and keeping them separate from the group if an altercation were to happen. But to have never met my dog and deny him before even testing him out is upsetting and sad to me..

This place is the best. They took our dog to the vet for us the morning we dropped off because we had to be out of town. They stayed in touch with us about our dogs non stop.

We called at the last minute because we were trying to work at home, and our dogs did not like the air conditioner installers. They let us bring them, and our pups seemed to have a great time. Everyone we talked to was very kind.

Wish I could give zero stars: "Due to our insurance coverage, we cannot except Pit bulls and/or Pit bull mixes." Absolutely unbelievable. Missing out on some great dogs - good to see discrimination at it's finest.

This place is far from being safe. I recently found out the assistant manager has been known for being agressive with the animals not only at this place but another facility as well.

I have been very pleased with the play care and boarding services at Legacy Dog Resort. I am new to the area and needed a safe place for our extended family member. The staff is very courteous and make my dog, which is not around other dogs on a daily basis, feel very comfortable.

I wouldn’t send my dog here. I live right next door and I can hear the employees SCREAMING at the dogs to shut up all day long. Pet owners beware.

We took our 2 year old Beagle to Legacy Dog Resort for a daytime boarding session. When I picked up my dog, she was acting a bit wierd and upon examining her, she had puncture wounds on her neck from another dog, which must have been much bigger than her. I had a vet appointment the next day and I asked our vet about the wounds and he said they were definatly puncture wounds from a larger dog. I called the location to complain and they blew me off and said that it didn't hapen while she was under their care....funny as our dog is either in our home or in our yard which other dogs cannot get into. Be cautious with your pets in this place.

Can you say life savers?! I recently relocated to the area and was in desperate need to find the perfect place for my little guy. I looked around at other locations and none of them came nearly as close to Legacy Dog Resort. During my walk thru tour i saw how amazingly clean they are. The entire team is upbeat, loving to pets and ready to help you with any special requests. In my case, I was delayed one day traveling back and when I called in they totally put me at ease and said an additional day of boarding was not a problem. (Customer service at its best!) I feel blessed to have found such a wonderful and fully committed organization who is ready to help people in the community with their four legged extended families. ???? Thank you, Sheryl, Courtney, Ashlyn,Scott and all the others who were so gracious to my little guy Sparky! **If I could grade higher I definitely would!!! ????????

We adopted a 6 month old working-line German Shepherd that had major reactivity towards other dogs. On our walks, our pup reacted by jumping up and down, barking and lunging the moment he saw other dogs. Meanwhile at home, our pup is very obedient and so sweet while our older Chihuahua (about a tenth of his size) rules the house. We brought our pup to Legacy Dog Resort (LDR). Initially, our pup did great and spent the majority of the time running/playing with the other dogs. By the sixth visit, we were informed that we had to pick him up. He was herding all the dogs. Although he didn't bite or show aggression, he wouldn't stop herding the dogs. The staff was worried the other dogs wouldn't like that and could potentially bite our dog. I appreciated that they were very concerned about our dog's safety. Although our dog wasn't the right fit at LDR, I still highly recommend them. LDR is a very clean facility. Their staff are really friendly and helpful and the online camera feed works really well! And most importantly, they truly care about the safety of your dog.
