Le Paws Grooming Plano, Texas

I took my cat in today for grooming. She came home looking exactly the way we expected her to look. Obviously, she can’t tell us about her experience, so at this point, We can’t complain.

They caused a terrible rash on our dogs stomach, not sure what chemicals they used but our poor mini poodle has been scratching his belly for the past 2 days. He also came back with a red eye!! My parents went to go and complain but were screamed at the owner telling us to get out!!! I couldnt believe it. These people are terrible for yelling at customers and never apologizing!! Do NOT come here they will abuse your dog.

The shop is not responsive to the customers. The day I pick up my dog, I tried to talk to the manager about the grooming and he was rude and disrespectful. I came back and tried to talk the owner and he sent his manger up to the front counter and said the owner is not talking and he don’t want to discuss anything. While I was at the counter another lady was complaining about the service from the grooming store. Service has went down in the last three months and they are loosing customers. Don’t take your pet to this groomer.

This is the only place we bring our baby! We have been coming here for years. They do not keep her all day which is important to me. She has never showed any sign of fear or nervousness. They do a great job with her time after time. Our dog is only 5lbs so it means a lot to us that we feel she is safe.

My pug’s back nails weren’t trimmed and she was extremely stressed out when I picked her up and sweating greatly !

These people are horrible. They cut the puppy and blame the owner. Stay away.

TERRIBLE customer service. I took my puppy to get a bath, just a bath. My boyfriend and I wanted to support small businesses especially with this pandemic going on so we decided to take our puppy there. He got a severe ear infection a few days after, which lead my puppy to be on pain medication for 2 weeks. When I called the place to explain the situation they directly told me to send my complaint through email. I told them that I needed to speak to someone because it was really disappointing. My puppy was in pain because of their fault. The guy that I spoke to basically told me to deal with it. They should’ve refunded the money for the bath and paid for the vet bill. Terrible place.

Great first time visit and awesome cut. Exactly how I wanted it. (That bald spot on her side is from her vaccine last year and hair hasn't ever grown back.)

I’m leaving a negative review because I am extremely shocked and disappointed with the lack of customer service demonstrated by one of the employees. We are new to the city and needed to get my dogs nails trimmed, so we went in for a wash and nail trim to spoil my pup. My pit/boxer, Axel is 9 1/2 years old and gets anxiety when he’s getting his nails trimmed and we try to avoid kenneling him and make it a fast experience for him. Like any concerned dog owner, I asked the male employee if Axel would be kenneled and how long. He answered yes and he would have to be kenneled 1 1/2 hours and he would be ready for pickup within 2 hours. We offered if we could drop him off whenever they are ready for him and he said no, he has to be left there. We asked if they will only trim his nails and he replied with “No, we only do the full service. Not just the nail trim.” He said that anywhere you go they are going to kennel him and you can try another place. (In a very arrogant manner. As if I’ve never been to a groomer before). Please keep in mind that we are having this conversation while my 70 lbs dog is squirming trying to go over the gate and get out of the building, dogs are barking, and other customers are waiting. I saw the terrified look on my dogs face and realized the lack of compassion shown by this man, and I told him we were not going to leave Axel after all. He said OK and removed his grooming leash off Axel. I think he walked away, I don’t remember. I was too busy trying to calm my dog down and put on his harness. After a couple minutes of calming him down, we got his harness back on him. Just a thought: My dog is very sweet and docile, but the employee doesn’t know that. What if the dog ran off and bit another dog or customer? His actions were beyond unprofessional, rude and irresponsible. On top of that, no compassion, empathy or understanding. I think if you’re going to work with animals you should show a little more compassion towards dogs. I felt very uncomfortable. We ended up going to Classy Doggy Cuts groomer down the street that trimmed his nails in less that 5 minutes and charged me $5.45. I don’t rant on yelp/google but I feel I owe it to my dog, if it will prevent another pup from having a horrible experience.

Poor service, when looking for my dog, it was not clean, nails uncut, and ears dirty. I do not recommend it

Please dont take your pets here. They accidentally chocked my dog while cutting hair or giving him a shampoo by the leash but didnt say anything when I picked him up. Dogs eyes have been blood shot red. Took him to vet and they said he was choked due to neck injury. They have no camaras. And I believe it's a family owned business so they cover up for one another.

I use this business for about 2 years for my own pets and rescues I foster. These guys know what they are doing and find the needed approach for every dog. They remember me and my pets, are always friendly and professional. Work fast to eliminate unnecessary stress on the pet. They are dog whisperers of Plano.

I’ve been coming here for 3+ years. This year, because I’ve not been able to travel for work, I’ve fostered 4 dogs. From the pic you can see it’s a bunch of huskies- has anyone tried to de-shed a husky? Total nightmare. Obviously over the course of 3 years my own husky has had a couple of misses, but frankly my world doesn’t end if my dog doesn’t get the perfect trim every single time. This year these groomers have gracious dealt with 4 derpy hairy dogs. Foster #1 apparently tried to break down an office door to get at a cat - when I picked him up they were like “Nooooo cats!” Foster #2 apparently talked/shouted loudly through the entire grooming process which is over an hour. Foster #3 got a “good behavior discount” because I think they were a bit traumatized after #1&2 ????And Foster 4 was just normal. It’s obvious the groomers take their time because these huskies don’t shed much at all for a week after their session. A minor miracle. And frankly I’m glad they still pick up the phone when they see my number lol.

Wonderful place and great grooming every time we have taken our Australian shepherd.

I have been taking my fur baby here for years now. Their work is very good and if there is something that I am not please with, they correct it. I read another post that said they are mean to the pets.....Well, I would have to disagree. I used to take my puppy to another groomer and when we got there he would shiver and shake and try to get away. At LePaws he does not, he just goes right in because he knows he has nothing to be scared about.

Took our Yorkie puppy to Le Paws. Very nice people and a very nice cut. Exactly what we wanted!

I have had my dog groomed here many times and ALWAYS request OSCAR to groom him. Oscar is AMAZING, however, the last time I had him groomed after I requested and the receptionist named IZZY decided to do it instead! He butchered my dog. nothing was even, he shaved in all the wrong places, it was just awful! I have tried for the last month , starting the day he was groomed to get in touch with the owner but Izzy keeps telling me he is on vacation. Izzy really is a detriment to this place.

Horrible customer service!! Very rude staff!!!My dog got a lot of scratch after they did his grooming.When you talk to them nicely , they screaming on you.So Rude!!!!I don't come back to this Horrible place,I love my dog and I don't want he gets a lot of pain and scratch after his grooming!!

We took our dog for the first time and very impressed with their service. We will return.
