We had three baths here and we are new to the area. Each was succeeding worse. I initially went here based on some of the excellent reviews. However since these older outstanding reviews it appears they have had a change of ownership or management as most recent customers are not very satisfied. I should have checked the most recent reviews. If you do so you will find many dissatisfied clients as I was.

Horrible!!! I boarded my lab there for nine nights. His nose was cut from the cage. When I picked him up and lifted him into my vehicle I noticed that he was soaked in urine. The stench was so bad I had to bathe him immediately. Upon his return home he had no appetite and is very lethargic. Now he has Kennel Cough. I guess vaccinations do not work. I have never experienced this issue with other pet hotels. Avoid this place!!!

Terrible! Was looking for a new groomer as we are new to the area. Took my maltipoo in for grooming and they didn’t listen to any of the instructions I gave them about how I wanted his hair cut. Either that or they had no clue what I was talking about because I specifically said no to summer cut (super short hair) and that’s what I got. I asked for the “teddy bear” cut around his face and I didn’t get that either. Very upset with the haircut he was given.

As a previous employee, this company has made me untrusting of any other groomer. I hope for their sake that things have changed over time. When I left this business, I left because the entire place was crawling with roaches. The bath tubs were rusting out and most (not all) of the groomers are aggressive with dogs. I was told on multiple occasions to pin dogs down to blow dry them.

Put our 2 dogs here for 2 weeks, they never took their beds , food or treats out of the bag we brought! Cost almost 700.00 and the both had kennel cough very bad! Had to take then to the vet and it cost us another 200.00 when I called the they said we are sorry, but your vet didn't vaccinate the right and if you read our waver we aren't responsible sorry our vet said these places always say that!

Did an ok job. Clear lake location knows how to cut Aussies better. The top was touched and it makes him look a bit porcupiney. They also didn't spray any good smelling stuff on him.

Flynn had a great time while being boarded there.

Pricing seems a little inconsistent at this place, and they have multiple pricing tiers for a range of grooming services & stay-n-play. Once, when I paid for grooming & stay n play, my dog was returned dirty because they let her play with other dirty dogs AFTER she'd been groomed! I had to bring her back for another bath. Your best value for grooming would be their $20 Tuesday deal.

Very friendly staff, fantastic grooming... but most important to me is the ability to set appointments online and have them accepted/approved through text! I chose this salon specifically for that convenience and I am really glad I did. Oddly enough, I thought it was just never open. It has the windows covered with the logo, but somehow doesn't give the appearance of being open. Luckily, I found it online and it led to this review ????

We boarded our 2 dogs for 2 nights while we went to an out of town wedding. I know they took good care of our girls because they both came back tired, and a little rounder in the middle than we left them. They were able to accommodate our anxious dog, and to give medications as well. We called on Saturday morning, and dropped them off within an hour. The only issue was that the place was a little messy and you could see where there had been accidents on the floor in the little playroom and dogs were still playing in the mess. We had them scheduled for baths before pickup, but changed our plans to pick them up early instead, so they were a little dirty, as would be expected. Nothing a bath at home didn't fix though. Overall great experience and I'm sure Gaia and Molly won't mind coming back.

This was our first time booking with pawsh, but we will never be back here again. Initially they could not get their pricing right, I was given one price over the phone and another in person! Secondly, we confirmed multiple times that he would be groomed prior to his morning pickup on Monday. They confirmed he would be on Saturday as that is their grooming day. Also, we solely booked this place to make sure he would not be spending time in a kennel and reserved their suite. On pick up day I saw my dog sitting in a KENNEL, surrounded by barking dogs and water/ pee all over the floors around the kennel. In addition, HE WAS NOT GROOMED!! They were shocked we came early to pick up our dog when we had confirmed a pick up before noon? I would never recommend this place to anyone who loves their dogs!!!!

They did such a great job! My dog is a wiggle worm and Snoopy came out looking so good! I will be returning for sure!

Pawsh is a family owned business that really cares about animals. I love that I can bring my dogs for boarding or grooming without having to worry about their safety. The staff treats every doggy equally with tons of love! The facility is clean and organized. Staff is down to earth and understanding about my doggies needs. I give Friendswood Pawsh 5 stars????????????????????????????????

My puppy got into some gum and I needed a groomer ASAP! They were able to squeeze us in even though they were very busy. They were so easy to work with and got my baby looking good as new! I definitely will be a repeat customer!!!

The cost of grooming increased with each visit. Today I was quoted $65-$75 ($75 if matted). As the dog was being shaved shorter, matts shouldn’t have been an issue, though, I did agree. We were charged $96 (pretax), $26 more than quoted. Secondly, I asked that my Lagotto not come back looking like a poodle. Again, our dog was given a poodle cut. I’ve provided pictures, written professional Lagotto groomer instructions, and left index cards with the basic notes. I understand that they might not be initially familiar with the breed, but this was his third cut at the facility and I’ve provided both simple and professional instructions. I understand once, maybe twice, but not a third time. At best, they are lazy or incompetent. At worst, they practice financial bait and switch and groom as they please.

Great place! Always very easy to work with schedules. My pup comes out looking great every time! Definitely recommend!

Pawsh did an amazing job with our sweet Phoebe. Our dog gets very anxious at the groomers and we have had a hard time with groomers being rude to us about her anxiety. From the moment I called Crystal at PAWSH, she was so kind and willing to work with us to help our fur baby! Jordan did an excellent job grooming her and we will be back! I feel more confident taking her more often now because of their kindness and not making us feel bad that our dog has anxiety. They wanted to work with her an love on her! Crystal even told me she prayed for my dog before they groomed her! How amazing and refreshing that was to hear! Thank you Crystal and Jordan for all of your help and love with Phoebe!
