Gus is obsessed and so am I! Incredible customer service. It seems like every employee knows my name and my dog's name. He has a blast and I love knowing that he is so well taken care of while I am working!

I love Camp Run-A-Mutt! I have been bringing my dogs here for daycare and boarding for over 6 years. The owners and staff are fantastic! They are attentive and caring. My dogs absolutely love it and they bark their happy barks the minute we pull into the parking lot! I love that they are cage free and there is someone with the dogs 24 hours a day. I would not board anywhere else. I highly recommend Camp Run-A-Mutt!!!

I brought my dog, Molly, here a few months ago. She was only about 50 pounds at the time and gets along amazingly with other dogs. They say they keep the dogs outside but bring them inside for multiple days after a rainy day. One day I went to pick Molly up and what seemed to be a teenager greeted me while shaking in fear. He told me my dog was attacked, that it was her fault because she "ran outside too fast", then he told me "do not to take her to the vet" because it would cause trouble for the camp. Bad service and weak leadership. I will not be returning again and advise others to do the same.

Best to not take any small dog there. Was watching in the cameras while in the business and was so upset at seeing my small dog overwhelmed by 15/20 large dogs in a small space. No wonder she was shaking before going in. No wonder when I said dogie day care to her that she hid. I had to forgive myself for sending her there I spoke with the staff, but sadly they just said it has always been this way and the chain just does this. Please think again about sending any small dog to this business.

I could never brag enough about this establishment! I've been taking my dog the for over 3 years and not once if I had an issue with them. They have been unbelievably flexible and so very caring about my dog and me! They treat you like family and I know they take such good care of our fun-loving pups and would give them more stars if I could! Thank you so much to the whole staff for being so amazing!

We adore camp run-a-mutt. We won’t take our dog to any other camp and the drive is worth it because our dog also adores camp, she jumps out the car and goes fast towards the door. Most days it seems like she doesn’t want to leave camp. I’ve never seen another place offer kennel free boarding- our dog has never been kenneled at night and that can continue because of the great offering camp run-a-mutt offers. All of the staff are exceptional, always greeting dogs by name. I feel that my dog is exceptionally well taken care of when I drop her off here and I really appreciate that. She is also always very tired and I really appreciate that too ????

Our dog Piper loves Camp-Run-A-Mutt. She’s 3 years old and has been going since she was 6 months. The staff is kind, friendly and attentive to our needs. Highly recommend them!

Love this place!! Brought my pup here at 5 months and he went from nervous to jumping out the car from excitement 2 months later! The cameras are awesome and they don’t crate which is perfect for my pup!

Camp Run A Mutt is the absolute best doggy day care and boarding option in Southwest Houston. The staff all know and love my dog and cater to her specific needs. The dogs are kept out of cages and allowed to play all day. The cage free boarding is also amazing! I know my dog is comfortable and happy when she visits, whether for day care or boarding. She practically pulls me in the door every time I drop her off.

I recently moved back to Houston with my pup Izzy, and I am so happy that we found this place! All of the staff are super friendly and immediately make an effort to learn both your and your dog's name. They are also very attentive to each pup. When I picked Izzy up yesterday, they immediately wanted to let me know that she had gotten a scratch on her face, so they cleaned it. I reassured them that Izzy had actually gotten the scratch a couple of days prior from a different dog she was playing with. However, it was amazing that they noticed it because it's not the most obvious on her dark fur. I work long hours, so the early drop off and late pick up times are very convenient. They are also very accommodating about extenuating circumstances. When I was unexpectedly stuck on call at work, they reassured me that it was no big deal and extended Izzy's daycare session into overnight boarding last minute, with no questions asked, no added fee, and no added stress. My pup has endless energy, but is always happily wiped out when she comes home. She had developed serious separation anxiety during COVID quarantine, so it speaks volumes that she drags me across the parking lot trying to get in the door as quickly as possible. I like that I can check in every once in a while via webcam (more because I'm curious to see how my dog acts when we're separated), and the prices with the daycare packages can't be beat! If you can't tell, I only have the best things to say about Camp Run-a-mutt!

If I were a dog I would live there.

I've been taking my lab mix here for day care since she was about 7 months old, and she's 3 now, so over 2 years. CRM is my go-to for boarding as well. Its simple, the people are good communicators, and it takes a lot off of my plate knowing she's there when I'm busy or out of town.

I started bringing my recently adopted pup (Kirby) here in June for daycare. They do a quick temperament test with the dog during your first visit (which you can watch on camera from the lobby) & when you pick them up from their first day, you receive a report card on how they did! At first, Kirby was a little shy & hesitant when I would drop her off. Now, she runs straight through the front door like she owns the place! Every single staff member (including both of the owners) is outstanding. They know Kirby by name & you can tell they love what they do. The facilities are great & are kept very clean. Plenty of outdoor space with a waterfall & shallow pool, shaded areas, tables, balls, etc. On rainy or hot summer days, their indoor area is air conditioned with plenty of room for the pups to play. They also have cameras throughout these areas which allows you to spy on your pup play during the day. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!!

We have been sending our four legged kid to camp for years now and it’s always been a positive experience. His tail is wagging going in and staff/owners have been nothing but cooperative and friendly. We are sticking with camp, for now and forever!

This is the best doggie day care in Houston! They are such nice people and the dog is so happy when I drop him off and so content when I pick him up! They do baths and overnight boarding. Can’t say enough good things about them! Great for your dog and for you too!

My babies love their day care

I can’t say enough great things about Camp Run A Mutt! I’ve been taking my dogs here for over three years! My pups get excited every time we pull up! I love that the dogs play all day, inside or outside depending on the weather and at the end of the day they aren’t kenneled. They are so tired from camp I know they sleep well, and I sleep well knowing that someone is staying with them during the night while they sleep! The staff and owners are absolutely wonderful and know me and my dogs by name! You won’t regret it!

I’ve been going here for years and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this business! They truly put the dogs first and absolutely love what they do. I love that their boarding is cage free so my Roscoe will never be in a kennel ???? He enjoys the daycare so much and truly loves going here. He comes home exhausted every time and it’s worth every penny!! The owners are fabulous and truly are passionate about that they do.

We have been happy with the day care facilities at. Camp Run a Mutt and recently used boarding. It was very reassuring to know that our dog would know the staff and some of the dogs while boarding and also not being caged.

My dogs love it here!

My dog has been going to Camp Run-A-Mutt for years. The staff is gentle and loving with him as he can be a little shy. While he has been hesitant returning to other dog daycare facilities, he walks into Camp Run-A-Mutt excited with this tail wagging. He goes frequently for both day care and boarding and always comes home happily tired.

Absolutely wonderful daycare and boarding!! Our dog has been going there for over 4 years and she gets excited to go in for drop-off every single time. As soon as she realizes we are taking the exit off the freeway to get to Camp Run-a-mutt she starts getting excited! She likes playing with other dogs, but she absolutely ADORES all the staff there (and this is saying a lot because our dog is selective on which humans she warms up to, but there is not a single staff member at this place that she doesn’t get excited to see) They also take great care of her! She has had various medical problems over the years and they always do such a good job of making sure she receives her correct medications and special food requirements. We trust them 100% with our fur baby and absolutely recommend them to anyone!!

Great place for the dogs and great people

We miss Camp Run a Mutt!! We moved out of state about a year ago and haven’t found anywhere we trust to board our pup near our new home. It was wonderful to be able to check up on our boy using the Mutt cams. The grounds are really clean and when you check up on your dog by watching the cameras, you’ll see staff members cleaning up after the dogs immediately. Bandit loved the ability to run around and play with other dogs, sniff, and cool off in the water. He always ran in happy to see the staff. Everyone was always very friendly and seemed to care about our dog. The staff was always attentive if Bandit needed medicine during his stay. I wish there were more facilities like this!!

Camp Run-A-Mutt rocks. The staff are all very friendly, and caring. They have "mutt-cams" where you can watch your dog's day, they give excellent service, and they have the best prices I've seen around Houston. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with them, and most importantly, my dog is too!
