Terrible staff and doctors. Had to find another clinic that I could trust to treat my pet with the proper care.

Dr. Kivney took care of my 3 dogs for many years and is extremely compassionate and and skilled. She took care of my dogs from a young age and walked me through my senior dogs health issues and end of life issues that were so difficult. My dogs all lived to about 15 years old and I could not have had a more caring and wonderful vet . I am indebted to her and her office for the love and kindness they have shown my family and pets over the years.

I hate this place the vet say one thing then switches it up and does not return your calls not even when she say she will #looking for a new vet. And I guess the statement of looking for a new vet means to drop a paid clients treatment after the customer states they are looking for a new vet rude

This place is very professional as well as all the staff. I was there to assist my electricians on some electrical work done in the back. This place is very clean.

Loved it! Got some parakeets. The staff member was very knowledgeable. She informed another customer of the complete set up required for their lizard. It shows that they do care about what happens after the animals leave the store.

We've been going to this vet for quite a while, and very infrequently as our little rescue has been very healthy and only ever needs the yearly vaccines. They began to make me feel as if I were being policed concerning our dogs Heart Guard and flea meds, and if we were administering both responsibly, even asking how much we feed our dog. Our dog has never had a weight problem! We have property elsewhere, an eight hour drive away, and so have a second vet in that location for emergencies. This seemed like very unwelcome news to the front staff. I was questioned in such detail I began to feel I was perhaps being reprimanded or that I was not being honest about the care of my dog. All of this during what should have been a simple call to schedule an appointment. We have been responsible for many rescue dogs in my 55 years of living and we have loved each one like children. Recently, our little guy got out of the backyard, which rarely happens, he wandered a few houses away, was found by a neighbor who called our vet. Our neighbor realized he had our little guy and returned him. Problem here is the folks at our vet didn't bother to call us. When I called to ask why, I was told they trusted the man who called and felt calling me wasn't necessary. She apologized, but couldn't explain to me why she decided to trust a stranger over the phone so much so that following up with us was a waste of time. Not acceptable. We'll be going elsewhere from now on.

I would say that dr kivney is a great vet we've taken at least a dozen animals to her in the past but now since she hasn't seen our current cat in over a year she wont see him. I feel like we've wasted our time and endless amounts of money …

Dr. Kivney is one of best veterinarian I’ve ever had. I always rest assured knowing my pups are in her care. I know it’s some of the best care they can get because I’ve gone through quite a few veterinarians throughout the years. She is very thorough and is excellent at catching any abnormalities in my pups during their checkups and letting me know about it and giving suggestions/options on how to solve the issue. She keeps up with the latest in veterinary medicine and let me know about any unsafe dog foods on the market. I am able to keep my friends and family up to date on dog care and what to be careful of depending on the type of dog they have because of information I’ve gotten from Dr. Kivney; information and health tips they said they wish their own vets would have proactively told them about in order to keep their pets healthy and free of long-term illnesses. Wish there were more veterinarians like her around.

I started to take my horse of a dog here when I moved to Pearland and they took great care of him. He sadly passed away of old age. I was very upset because he was my best friend and I felt like they handled it great. I now take my new dog here also and the front staff recognize him right when he comes in. The owner is very down to earth with her treatments and she is the only one I will use there. The younger vet to me has a very bad bed side manner even for a vet. I found her to be rude and condescending.

I absolutely adore Heritage Animal Hospital. Dr. Kivney and Dr. Pulido are so down to earth and passionate about all the animals they treat. No matter where I move in Houston they will always have my business. They have excellent staff and kind hearts and have helped work through some skin issues My dog has had and are quick to see her if she has a flare up. They’re always attentive and great at following up- they call, send letters and will call several times to make sure you are able to get the routine care your pet needs. They also routinely call to check in on your pet after an appointment and are so caring. The staff is really nice as well. Wonderful place overall!

So caring and compassionate. Dr. Pulido helped with a very tough situation with my cat which ended with us putting him down. She sent the sweetest note, along with a paw print from my cat and a tissue - which I immediately had to use.

One of my dogs developed a condition several years ago that caused us to almost lose him. The emergency care staff at another location managed to keep him alive for the weekend. We took him to Dr. Kivney the following Monday, and she …

What do you think when the vet tells you that your dog will need 2 or 3 teeth extracted and when they call you to tell you that your pet is out of surgery, informs you that they took 13 teeth? After the exam the previous day, this highly educated vet said '2 but maybe 3 teeth need to come out'. No phone call or anything but a big surprise. Did we get a chance for a 2nd opinion? Absolutely not. The next day (New Year's Eve) her stomach was very upset so the vet sold us 4 pills to solve the problem. A few hours later (after hours) she developed a severe case of diarrhea. Little did we know, a common side effect of this medication is diarrhea. We called the office about 6 pm and the recording said they check messages regularly and would call us back. So no call back, the nausea medicine causes severe diarrhea and no vet calls back. On Saturday, we called about noon and boy were they surprised Mia had trouble as they didn't know we called, they apparently never checked their messages. Our pets are very dear to us and to be treated like this, like none of this was important is not the type of vet we want to do business with. To have almost 1/3 of a 7 year old pet's teeth taken without any options is unacceptable.
