Dr. Zoo and her team do a great job giving my dogs wonderful care. They are thorough and meticulous. Dr. Zoo does a great job communicating and explaining diagnoses and treatment plans.

I can't think of anything at the moment to make a better experience

We use Family Animal Hospital for our personal pets and for the pets we care for at our rescue. They are always kind, caring, and considerate. Having worked at a veterinary practice for 8 years, I realize how challenging it is to meet pet parent expectations and to deal with clients who have unrealistic expectations (on many fronts). The veterinarians and staff at this practice care 100% about the pets they serve and bend over backwards to help alleviate pain and suffering while trying to keep pet parents happy. I would trust any of my pets here as well as our rescue pets to get the best possible care.

These guys showed so much attention and love to our baby when we came in as a walk-in.

I've been taking all my animals, exotic and domestic alike, here. They are always professional and never overcharge me. They explain everything up front and also help you understand everything going on with your pet. They give you options and don't make you feel like it's an ultimatum decision that will break the bank. I've used services like wellness exams, check ups every month, and euthanasia when my dog was too far gone from her disease. They let me take my time and say my goodbyes and also made me beautiful take home items like a paw print and hand signed card to remember my baby girl by. (Tear ❤️) I've brought dogs, my chameleon, and my rats here and am thoroughly satisfied with all the help I've received with every type of animal. They care and that's what is most important.

Dr zue is wonderful. I trust her completely with my fur baby. Her staff are very helpful and friendly. I recommend them to everyone I know, they are that good.

Literally the rudest most unprofessional HR I’ve ever had to deal with. It’s taken over a week to get my W2, which is needed urgently. The first couple of times she kept saying she can’t get into quickbooks, then she refused to call them for assistance. After that she sent me something completely different than what I needed. She took her time and didn’t even want to try to get it. When I called to follow up after four days since she stopped answering her emails, she told me I “wasting her time”, she “isn’t going to try anymore to get i and to “do not call again” before she hung up on me. How does someone so rude and hateful end you being HR for a company with such a well respected Doctor? It’s no wonder why they can’t keep good employees and everyone keeps leaving.

I drive an hour to take my cornsnakes/ratsnakes here. their pricing is better then a closer exotic pet vet. The doctor seemed to know what she was talking about, but this time I was not in for the examination

Dr. Nicoletti is the absolute best, and so is this clinic! I’ve been trying to find a vet that I can count on for my pet rats, and out of everyone that I’ve been to in the area, I’m sold on her and this clinic. The prices are so reasonable, especially considering the amazing quality of service and care. I made an emergency visit and was seen within the hour, and was able to schedule an emergency surgery that same day despite it being very busy. The surgery went amazing, and post-surgery the team is wonderfully responsive. Totally recommend this practice.

they are very nice people from the moment you walk in, loved their attention and service. i was recommended by my cousin there. first time ever having a pet and they were great at explaining everything to me. so glad i picked this vet!!!

I was very leary about taking my dog to a new place but I knew I only trusted Dr. Nicoletti. And the whole staff at Friendswood Animal Hospital made us feel welcome and were truly compassionate, and I saw some familiar faces. I will be making this my place where my 3 babies come and we all feel cared for. Thank you

Lewis C. Words cannot adequately express my appreciation for the professional and caring actions that Dr. Zoo and her staff took in providing for my 16 year old Annabelle in her last days of life. To say that it greatly exceeded my expectations would be an understatement. I came to Dr. Zoo late in my dog's brain tumor episode. My vet had suddenly announced semi-retirement. When she had her 3rd seizure, I knew that I had to find another vet fast. The staff at the emergency clinic highly recommended Dr. Zoo, and they sure were right! The good folks at Family Animal Hospital treated us as though we were long time patients who had been coming there for years. Everyone that I dealt with was courteous, caring, and professional. Dr. Zoo has a great staff. That includes the good folks on the phone who answered my questions, those who came to the car to get Annabelle several times due to my health issues, and finally the two good caring staff members who came to my car a few weeks later to give Annabelle the final shot when the end was near. Thanks to them for the tenderness and care shown to Annabelle in her last days. She was miserable toward the end, but they made it much easier for her and me. For that I will be forever thankful.

There is no place else I would take my fur family. Family Animal Hopital of Friendswood is the best. The staff and doctors are smart, up-to-date, caring and listen to your needs and concerns.

We have two rabbits. When we brought our female rabbit they were wonderful. They took great care of her. My husband brought our male bunny and he was a few minutes late due to unknown road construction. He was turned away at the door and we had already payed for the appointment. We will never be returning and I will be letting all my family, friends and colleagues know not to go to this vets office.

My new dog and I loved our visit with Dr. Romano and Sarah. They were both pleasant & knowledgeable. They answered all my questions kindly and patiently. All staff including the receptionist have been helpful. They also do a great job of explaining all fees in writing before providing services. I have had bad experiences at vets with previous pets, so I was very impressed with the care and attention we received at Family Animal Hospital.

Avoid this vet at all costs! Very unprofessional and tacky employees. I had an appointment for my dog at 4:30 for routine vaccines. I called to inform that I am running a few minutes behind due to a wreck that stopped traffic and was informed that it was fine. Once I arrived and brought back into an exam room, I was informed that I would be charged a late fee for being 20 minutes late even though I was only 10 minutes late. Two employees insisted on arguing with me telling me my appointment was at 4:20 when in fact it was at 4:30. I even played a voicemail that I received from the office stating my appointment was at 4:30 to them. After receiving such rude and disagreeable service, I left the office without services and will not return. I have never received such horrible treatment at a vet before and this is very unfortunate because I did not have this experience two times prior. This staff definitely needs a few courses in customer service and interacting with customers properly.

Took our old boy that day even though we were an emergency and not a previous patient. Very understanding and caring, highly recommend!

Dr. Zoo, Dr. Romano along with their staff are the best!

I’ve been on the search for a new veterinary clinic to take my dogs to. When I called to book a first time visit about a week ago, the lady who answered the phone was so personable and nice, she made the booking process so easy! Today, I took one of my boxers here for the first time to have a lump on his hind leg checked out. It was such a pleasant experience, all of the staff who I interacted with today were nothing but kind & helpful. Dr.Nicoletti was so sweet and patient with my overly excited boy. She was super informative and helped answer all my questions! I’m looking forward to taking all my fur-babies here for future veterinary needs! Thank you! (The pics are Tank whining for the Doc’s to come back in.???? He just loved meeting them today!)

They are and have continued to be very attentive to each and every need that all three of my pupps have. They are all very different and even the one with the extremely high anxiety, gets treated with care, fast service (due to her anxiety) with no flaw in the quality of care. I highly recommend the clinic and their staff!

This place is so accommodating to my nervous (and bad) bunny, Roscoe. Every single person is caring. They're about giving the best service ever, not about charging you an arm and a leg for mediocre service. I absolutely love everyone here, and we appreciate all the care that was given to Roscoe! It's so hard finding the right doctor for those delicate animals. I highly recommend them for anyone with a bunny!

I've only had the one visit with them, but they were great on the phone as well as when we got to the office. Their staff are very friendly and the tech that walked us back to the exam room took the time to let our pup get comfortable, sat on the floor and waited for him to approach. I believe we have found a new vet.

Don't pay money upfront is my lesson learned. Looks like I am in a similar position as a lot of the negative reviews on here. I got charged a visitation fee of $65 after not getting visited or even going into the building. Showed up for a routine check up on my dog and waited for 40 min in the parking lot. Called multiple times from the parking lot and tried to go into the building. I got no response. So sometimes people get busy so no big deal I just left. However after reading the other reviews I believe they are purposely doing a poor job at scheduling. They know this and that is why they ask for the money upfront and aren't expecting repeat business. Now that I know this I won't be going back.

Dr Zoo is not only a wonderful person... She is an amazing vet. She is above & beyond in everything she does & so are all the employees. I can't say enough. It's the only place to take your beloved pet family.

This place is great. From Dr. Zoo down to the person that sweeps and cleans up - great job! They have gratefully taken care of our four dogs (!) and hamster. They are always informative. They go out of their way to help you and your animals. I just took in a new stray, and i didn't have all of the paperwork. The way they worked with me was fantastic, even though i didn't have all of what they had requested, which was my fault. Great work everyone! Thank you!
