Years ago on Thanksgiving Day, Patrick came to Doss to help with a distressed mare. We were up all night in the cold and wind with her and Patrick saved her. Thank your Patrick. Nancy Applebe

We (and our pets) LOVE the staff! We’ve been taking our pets here for 4 years and have never had any issues, prices are fair and the staff are awesome. One of the best things is we see the same staff all the time year after year which, to me, says a lot about the business, the doctors and their staff. ❤️

A bit of a wait, but what very clinic isn't? The staff were nice and treated my pet as a family member not livestock. Highly recommend and will go back again.

My dog broke her foot while we were here visiting my daughter. Dr. O’Neil and the entire staff was so caring and kind. Their facility is very nice and very clean. If I lived here, he would definitely be our full time vet! Highly recommended.

Our 10 year old dachshund had a lymphoma removed from his chest. Dropped him off at 8:30 am & picked him up at 3:30. Everything seems to be good so far. Nice folks. This is our regular vet.

We are volunteering at LBJ SP. Met with Dr. O'Neil for emergency visit after our 16 year old cat Midge took a bad fall this Sunday morning. Dr. O'Neil was gentle & thorough in his exam & we felt very comfortable with his diagnosis & approach for treatment.

So I decided to give this place another shot..set up an appointment, got my employer to schedule the day off, wake up at 8 in the morning to meet with veterinarian. Maddison LIES to me and says i'm scheduled for next week. Also smugly asks if I want a reminder...I'm never going here again... What a disappointment, especially for my chi.

Visiting from Dallas and my dog tore her ACL. It was the day after Christmas so our options were limited. They accommodated a quick turnaround and we got her in to see the vet. She has pain medicine to get us back to Dallas. Very thankful for them and their care of our fur baby.

Saved my vacation and eased a stressed dog-mom’s mind! I completely forgot my dogs medication at home and it was the beginning of a long Holiday weekend. The front desk staff was so sweet and told me to come on by and they would take care of us, Dr Pat was kind and caring and was able to help save the day! If we ever move to Fredericksburg, we know where we’ll be taking our sweet girl!

We hadn't found a vet yet for our new lab puppy. Our pup had an incident and needed to be seen immediately and it was after hours. We called Dr O’Neil and explained the situation and he met us at the clinic at 11: 45 PM! He treated our puppy and was very caring. The price was very reasonable and we really appreciated that he took our call and came to meet us when it was so late. We really liked him and so did Harley. So it is a no brainer that we will be taking our pup Harley to Pedernales Veterinary Clinic for all his shots and care! Thank so much!

Very friendly staff and clean building. We boarded our dogs for three nights and had them bathed. Very reasonable prices and great location.

I used their expertise for several years when I lived in Fredericksburg. I have champion Irish wolfhounds. They received the best care there of anywhere. My dogs were shown in nearly every state including the Westminster dog show in New York. The care at Perdenales rivals the best in the country. Thank you for the years of incredible care for my fur children.

Top Notch Experience-Highly Recommend! Our sweet Lexie had happy tail surgery just days ago, and decided she would chew her stitches out at home! Our current vet was on vacation, and when my Husband called Pedernales Veterinary Center, they said to bring her right in, even though she'd never been seen there. They bandaged her up, took excellent care of her, and gave us great at-home instructions. Dr Morriss is awesome, and the ladies that work the front desk were so kind. Thank you again for your help during our midday crisis!

Over a month ago I took my dog Moses in to get his teeth cleaned and a couple of growths on his skin removed. After the procedure I took him home. He began to deteriorate. I called the vet back the next day. The female vet who did the procedure was not listening to anything I had to say about his condition. I stated that he was not eating. She replied well he ate when he was here... There was no concern or empathy what so ever. After two days of ignoring what I had to say about Moses I took him in on an emergency visit in the evening. The owner gave Moses the attention he needed. Gave him fluids along with a few other things and brought him back to his normal self. On December 15th Moses was not well at all. You could see the look in his eyes. He was dying. My husband took him in to Pedernales Vet first thing in the morning. The female vet was working and the owner was not on the property at the time. The female vet looked at Moses, took an x-ray, and told my husband to take him to the emergency room in San Antonio, he needed to be in an oxygen tank. No one in FBG has that equipment. He was in the office no more than thirty minutes and we were charged $110.00! Moses was not going to make it to San Antonio! There was no empathy or concern, just give me your money! I called the office to let them know how I felt about the charge of $110.00. I told them to have the owner call me. It is the next day and I still have yet to hear back from them. The office manager Jennifer is missing a sensitive chip and only cares about the charges that need to be collected. No matter that my husband is holding our dying dog in his arms! We took Moses to another local vet. Her entire staff was so professional, caring and compassionate. Moses was not going to make it to San Antonio. This vet explained to us that it looked like he had pneumonia. She gave him antibiotics and kept him to keep watch on his condition. He went into cardiac arrest later in the afternoon. She revived him and called us to come say goodbye. This vet was extremely busy and snowed under but still made time to look at my Moses even though she had never met us before. We are pulling all three of our remaining pets from Pedernales Vet and taking them to Amy Joe with Hill Country Vet on Hwy 16.

I've been using these guys for years, but I recently spoke with someone named Maddison who was very robotic and said it would be 1-2 weeks before they could look at my dog. I've decided to switch to Dr. Eckhert on Llano who was much more accomodating.
