VCA Lakeside Animal Hospital Fort Worth, Texas

This was my first time at the vet and it definitely won’t be my last! I adopted my dog Rosco from Dallas animal shelter. Once I got him home I noticed a few issues and brought him right in. They ran some test and checked him out from head, paw, to tail and got my new dog feeling better than ever! The staff was exceptionally pleasant and really care about the animals they see. I will be using this at my primary veterinarian from now on!

I cannot recommend this place highly enough! They saved my dog's life, and everyone I've worked with has been amazing. I am transferring all of my animals here.

We recently moved and my friend recommended Dr. Sultemeier. On my first visit with my sick cat Bananas, I was immediately glad I found them! Dr. Sultemeier was very knowledgeable, friendly and explained the treatment plan very well. We don’t know exactly what is wrong with her ( she had the same problem last year) but this time I really believe Dr. S will figure it out! The office is very cute too, it’s got that sweet country vet vibe ????

I can't recommend Dr. Keith Sultemeier and his team of Staff Veterinarians and support staff enough! My family has known Dr. Sultemeier for 35 years (a new Vet at the time) as our family business was adjacent to the clinic. As a matter of fact, we're fortunate to live two doors down on the street immediately behind the clinic. We see the back side of the clinic from our formal living room window! More importantly, it was such a comfort that he was our vet when we had to put down our 2 precious dogs "children". They were put to sleep exactly one year apart in 2016 & 2017 at 15 and 16 years old . They were sisters from the same litter & we got them as soon as they were weaned. Dr. Sultemeier is the only vet that we trusted to end their precious lives. They not only tolerated but they comforted us with kind words and hugs as we "broke down" sobbing. In the final moments of our "daughters" lives, I ASKED, and THEY GRACIOUSLY ACCEPTED my offer to JOIN us in a FINAL PRAYER. This is the nature & character of Dr. Sultemeier and staff. Without hesitation, I recommend Dr. Sultemeier and VCA Lakeside Animal Hospital.

I cannot express how happy I am that they squeezed me in to see my baby girl. They saved my 3 year old Shih Tzu. Who just gave birth 3 weeks ago to a single pup and stop eating near a week ago. The emergency vet who seen her just a few days prior (Veg off 35w) appears to not have staff experienced enough to see in an x ray what was wrong. Dr. S...with in mins of receiving the x ray knew what to do. With a single fluid shot, my baby girl is already feeling better. If I could give 10 stars to Dr S..the staff and this clinic ? I would still need more stars to give. I can't give enough thanks to this place!!! Ty...from the bottom of my heart!!

Its a shame that any doctor should deny a pet the flee/tic pill that would stop them from the itching and associated problems the pests bring. I can't afford office visit.u refused to sell me p.ill. Seems money is what your concerned about,not my dog.

I had to say goodbye to my precious girl of 13 years and VCA Lakeside staff was absolutely amazing. They got us in and were so compassionate. It made the whole heartbreaking experience a little easier. Thank you so much for helping us with her last moments.

This is an amazing place full of people who care for animals and their owners. We took our beloved dog of 17 years to be put to sleep. I cant thank the staff enough for love they gave my dog and us during a very hard day. They even called and sent a sympathy card checking on us. I highly recomend and will be my permanent vet from here on out.

By far the best care for my fur baby I could ask for! The staff is so kind and all genuinely care about the animals they are treating. We will continue to recommend their care to anyone with fur babies of their own.

I've been bringing my fur babies here for about 3 yrs. During this time I have been seeing Dr Brown, Love her. I've lost one of my babies due to illness, shortly after we find out that my other fur baby, Henna, is diabetic. When Dr Brown told me this my heart sunk, I just knew I couldn't do it. But thanks to the knowledge and true care and concern from Dr Brown and all of the great staff at VCA. I did it, I had to. Thank you to all at Lakeside VCA. ????

Dr. Brown is one of the best veterinarians in the business! She knows her stuff and is very kind and compassionate. She only does what is best for her patients and their owners. I highly recommend her!

Every time I have gone to VCA Lakeside, all of the staff have always treated my two fur babies with such great care. Dr. Brown is an excellent veterinarian and is very thorough in her work. She has a true heart for her patients. I know that each time I bring my babies to her they are in good hands.

The best staff I have ever encountered will going to the vet. I will be going there all the time just because the staff was so nice and accommodating. My dog had a problem and the lady who I talked to on the phone let me get a appt even though there were none available. Super cool. And my dogs problem was taken care of. The vet was awesome!!!

VCA Lakeside is the best!! Our dog, Jake, has never let anyone bath him, but now that we use the Vets & Staff at VCA Lakeside, he loves his baths & nail trims!! They all take such great care of our pet family!!❤

I've been using Lakeside Animal Hospital for over 12 years now. It doesn't matter if the visit is for a checkup, routine shots, or emergency surgeries; they've always taken the best care of my pets. And yes, 2 of my dogs have actually had emergency surgeries in which both lives were saved. One of my goofball dogs likes to eat things and the other one had a bleeding ulcer in his eye and a bladder that nearly ruptured. Simply stated, I'll never go anywhere else.

I had an emergency with my baby and the team was very responsive and made arrangements to get us in quickly. Michelle at the front desk has been wonderful and she shows care, true compassion, and knowledge of animals and we so appreciate the personal attention. Dr. Imken was fabulous and provided all the options available and worked very diligently to ensure the best care was provided. I recommend Lakeside Animal Hospital because they make you feel like family and we all know that our babies are part of our family.

Best staff there is. We've been going to Dr. Sultimer for about 30 years now. Love this man. He is the perfect example of a Veterinarian.. Thank you VCA LAKESIDE????????

These people were not willing to work with us at all to help our dog. It's very clear all they cared about is how much money was to be made. This place IS NOT open cause they love animals.

They are so sweet and loving toward your animal babies

Went in yesterday and spent over $400 on vaccines and heartworm tests. They have an app where you can order heartworm medicine but they charge far more than 1800PETMeds so I ordered through petmeds which I have been using for years with good results - they passed their heartworm test yesterday with flying colors. But VCA Lakeside not only won't confirm the prescription by phone but they are going to make me drive over in person to pick up the prescription - they refuse to fax or email the prescription when you don't buy through their expensive shop. Really disappointed that they would go so far to inconvenience a new customer.

I drive a long way just to come here. I have changed to closer vets but end up coming back here. Great Dr. and great staff.
