Used to be top of the line. Now they are only concerned about money. Refused to refill my pets prescription.

I have been a client for 18 years, and have allowed this group of veterinarians to treat 4 of our dogs. I will acknowledge we have moved care of our newest babies elsewhere, due to the decline in their customer service, but our oldest has a complicated health history, so made sense to keep him with his original primary care provider. Everyone at this clinic has bad days, they've all made mistakes, and prior to our most recent visit they would acknowledge their mistakes, apologize and make it right, even when their misdiagnosis contributed to the premature death of one of our dogs, we still forgave them. This last visit was a different story. When we arrived to drop off for a scheduled toe amputation, the receptionist was unable to locate us on the schedule. I had spoken to this same receptionist on 11/3 at 11:47AM, to schedule said surgery and she acknowledged it was scheduled. Mind you she didn't even bother to ask what we were scheduling for, and when I asked if she needed to know, she stated "no, it's for a tumor removal". This made me believe that she either could read my mind or saw from our previous visit they had provided us a quote, that being said, she hung up on me without confirming. Upon our arrival on 11/23, Tori stated she would have to see if they could "work us in", I then suggested she should probably let them know that she had failed to complete the scheduling when I called on 11/3, this is where it went sideways. The receptionist, Tori, make sure you know her name, she'll get upset if you don't, rolled her eyes and threw her hand up at me, as if I had said something inappropriate. When I then asked her if she communicated her error, she stated that she wouldn't make that mistake, I guess she's perfect. At this point she became argumentative and told me "that wouldn't happen". I then gave her a recap of our conversation from 11/3, and needless to say, she had nothing. She then proceeded to go lie to the vet/co-owner of the clinic, Heather Hester, and tell her I was hateful, when all I did was recap our previous conversation, but of course she “never” had that conversation. I was then attacked by co-owner, Heather Hester for my “hateful statements”, mind you you she only bothered to get Tori’s side of the story, but it was obvious she didn’t care that there might be more to the story, and forgot they work in customer service. Due to Tori’s unprofessional, unreliable, and manipulative behavior, I had to bring our dog back home, with the life threatening cancer he has, in which our other dog died from, without treatment. This clinic doesn't care about the pets and families they serve, they only care about their pocket book. Unfortunately they don’t understand that a dog or cat is a persons child/ family member, and family centered care is foreign to them. I cannot believe I am saying this, but please save yourself the heartache, and go somewhere else that actually cares about the entire family and welfare of your child.

The only thing I don't like is that we have to wait outside. I understand is due to Covid restrictions but makes me anxious to be away from my dog.

Took our Shih Tzu to LWAC the staff worked us in over lunch. Dr. Richey and Nicole took us in right away, assessed the problem and outlined the best treatment. We really appreciate their kindness, professionalism and cooperation. Thank you very much!

Excellent! Both the doctor & technician were so good with my kitty, who typically freaks out at the vet. They were both so helpful, gentle & competent that this was the best vet visit ever!

The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable and they care about our pets. The wait time on the particular day we were there was long and as a result our animals were tramatized by the noise and commotion in the lobby (there not used too other animals). By the way this is not normal activity and we have been going there for several years and will continue to do so.

I would honestly give this clinic zero stars if that was an option. I took my cat in a few days ago for an eye infection shortly after he started to become very lethargic and started having diarrhea. He ate the first day but threw his food up about ten minutes later this will be the FIFTH day he hasn’t ate I called and left a message twice and was told the vet would call me back however I never was called back so I decided to look on his paperwork to see what could possibly be making him so sick the only other thing that he was given besides eye drops was a COVENIA shot which I later found out is a long last antibiotic I started reading about it and there are numerous accounts of people speaking out about this dangerous drug multiple deaths in pets within hours or days of being given this covenia shot!! I was not made aware of any of these insane side effects or the risks or I would NEVER had agreed to give him the shot. Please do your research for yourself. Anyways took him back up there this morning and the first thing the vet said to me was “if you were so worried why did you take him to the ER” first of all extremely unprofessional secondly I’m not sure if she is aware of this but people don’t usually have the money to spend on the ER for their pets!!! He has EVERY SINGLE SYMPTOM that is listed for the covenia shot but she wants to run a bunch of test on countless other things. Saying it could be a number of other things that made him act like this and stop eating… but all this started AFTER the shot and he has all the side effect of the shot so isn’t is obvious it’s probably the shot! She stated she has given “hundreds” of Covenia shots and never had an issue. Good for her but she went to school she knows the side effects and with this severe of side effects why would you be giving out hundreds of these shots if there is a risk that even ONE pet could react this way!? Why!! Completely passive aggressive and unprofessional I’ve never seen anything like it. Please be very aware of this place I would advise against it one hundred percent. I just pray my cat pulls through this.

Poor help. I have had many dogs and I know what to do to keep them alive but no help to my suprise. The staff was rude and just wanted money when I was trying to buy the things necessary for it. They do not care about animals and friends.

I'm not a regular customer/client, however I did have to say goodbye to my precious girl Sassycat in 2017, and I went here. The staff was extremely compassionate. I still miss my girl. I use Banfield atm because it's more affordable for me, but if I had to, I absolutely would not hesitate to take my pet here again. The clinic was clean and quite. And I was seen right away. Maybe because I was crying. I wish you guys boarded pets. I'm in need of boarding here in Lake Worth.

Had my Sophie there twice and they cannot seem to get her eyes cleared up. Have already spent over $300.00. I have to pay a new office visit each time for the same issues. Seems a bit pricey to me. Staff is nice.

The staff and the doctor were very polite and attentive to my dogs needs. I originally just did a random search for the closest Vet office and I am glad I found this place. They just became my new Vet.

Vet and staff were very friendly. I loved the fact that the vet didn't run unnecessary tests just to get money off me. Very affordable services. Will come back and utilize as my regular vet.

This was the first time I had ever visited this veterinarian and it's unfortunate but I was there to have my dog euthanized. They treated me very well they treated Bubba even better and the veterinarian prayed with me. It was comforting.

Doctor was great, and compassionate, the technician staff unfortunately was not. Last week was the first time to come to this clinic because my baby cat of 16years was really sick, and the doctor wanted to see my baby back in one week so I left thinking I had an appointment set up by the recep already but wasn’t, I had to make one a day later than what I was supposed to bring her in. I brought my baby in this morning dying , I am upset because if she had her appointment within the appropriate time, my baby would not have suffered and died on her own I would have put her down humanly. Thanks sarcastically to everybody that dropped the ball !! And to make it worse, as my baby lay dead on the table the technician comes in with a credit card machine to make sure they get a payment for the cremation box I picked!!! I couldn’t believe how heartless and uncompassionate !! This tech I thought was going to bring back a form of my pets name, birth and death date information to put on the box but instead payment and in the room instead of the front desk!!! Wow so unprofessional and uncompassionate. Not sure if my pets name and dates will be on name plate when I get her back next week when I come to get her but at least this Vet clinic has their damn payment front and center, I have been to so many Professional clinics over the years and they are compassionate enough to wait until you come pick up your pet for payment. Not this money hungry clinic. I will never bring any of my babies here
