I have been taking my new kitten and my elderly dog here and I am so dissatisfied so far. They are clear about only wanting your money and providing minimal care. My elderly dog has had major GI distress the last week and it has taken them 5 days (and I called every day and they said they would call back and I never got called back) to get back to me with fecal screening results. I paid 100$ for this test just for them to push it off while I’m at home cleaning up bloody diarrhea all day and bloody vomit and I am worried sick…. On the fifth day I finally got an inconclusive result from the sample, and I told them he is still aggressively sick, and asked what should I do, and they said “wait a few days”…. My dog is still terribly sick and I don’t have any more money to take him anywhere else at the moment because they charged me 300$ for an exam, and 2 meds and a fecal that took almost a week and I had to fight them to get results…

So far I have had nothing but good experiences here. I did invest in the care package for my kitten. Which is a great thing, visits can be expensive. With the package I pay considerably less than if I didn’t have it. Hundreds less per visit. Everyone is knowledgeable and sweet. I never had a vet that texts you after the visit to check on your pet, until now. I know experiences differ, but as of now this vet is lovely.

My dog Lucy was having stomach issues and our regular vet couldn't see her until a week, so I took her here. She had to have emergency surgery. The staff was great, cared for Lucy. A week after surgery and Lucy is acting like a brand new dog, full of energy and life again. The staff here saved my dogs life and I am forever grateful to have more time with her.

I wanted to thank Dr. Roller & Frankie for taking care of our family dog Pearl on Tues Sept 7th and guiding us in making a VERY difficult decision. You both were so kind, sincere & professional. Words can not express our gratitude. Thank you. The Castillo, Langston & Stafford Families. ????

I had just adopted an older cat of 13 years and took him here to get his vaccines and a wellness exam. When I called before I was even checked in the person who answered my call tried to upsell me on a "Care package". I have no issues with something like this normally but it was very clear that she cared more about pushing this package on me by telling me over and over again how since he was older I would get more value from this package. Once in the doctor saw and while she clearly cared about animals I was given some flea medicine, however it turns out that this flea medicine despite being marketed towards cats its actually not safe for cats! DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT CARE FOR YOU PET. If you want a good vet go to The PARC.

Very disappointed. Got charged $77 for a exam which did not include anything other than trying to sell me something. Did not take temp. Did not check ears. Will not recommend this place to anyone

Lovely team and Dr. R was amazing. Baby Gumbo was anxious and is always anxious at vet appointments, but when we finished he was wagging his tail. Complete 180. Appointments are available too as needed. I was able to schedule one that was convenient for me. Great team! Front staff was nice too and helped me when I had to carry my boy inside.

I called about getting my puppies six weeks shots and I got appointment that same day oh, I had called around they had told me that it would be 3 weeks before they were able to see look puppy, and that they were only doing curbside assistance, the staff was really nice and very helpful into answering all the questions and concerns that I had about the new member of my family oh, I will highly recommend VCA, my puppy new best friend oh, thank you for all your help.

I went here 16 years ago and they were wonderful, but I needed to go recently and they would not see my 16 year old cat because of a balance from over 10 years ago. I was in a wheelchair for 5 years and was unable to pay them at the time...very sad that they were worried about an old balance instead of helping my cat. No compassion.

The second hardest thing I’ve had to do in this lifetime, is put our dog “Pig” to sleep. The vets/techs at VCA Fort Worth Animal Medical Center were very professional, extremely caring, and very responsive to our situation. I can’t thank them enough for helping us through this situation.

VCA of Fort Worth has been great for my pet family. They provide a lot of services like boarding, etc. We are moving to Panama and they have been great for getting everything together and communicate directly with me via text for simple answers to questions or call for detailed explanations. Their pricing is better than other vets I've compared with as well. I wish I could move them with us.

Professional/experienced staff and nice office made my visit an outstanding one. A bit pricey but worth it. Thanks y'all

My dog got into poison today and I rushed him to the office right before they closed to get him in immediately. They knew we were on the way and stayed to assure my puppy got the treatment he desperately needed. They took him back right away and informed me of the price after assessing him immediately to which I told them to do whatever was necessary to save my dog. They worked quickly and never hung up the phone as I was so terrified on what was going on with him and I’m sure they sensed it. The staff was phenomenal and the Dr. Ashley Roller was amazing! I will forever be grateful for them saving my dog. We got him home and he’s still doing well. We are airing on the side of caution still as we need to watch him however they were confident that he should be ok. Thank You all again for your fast acting and caring for my dog. I’m forever grateful ♥️♥️

After misdiagnosing our little terrier with pancreatitis, charging nearly $1,000 for xrays and tests, prescribing special dog food, we'll never come back. rip off to pad the bill.

Honestly.... I felt like I was talking to used car salesmen, for one. Trying to dodge things that just weren’t necessary for that visit and felt like they were just trying to tack things on... very overwhelming and also uncomfortable. 2, It was not personal, at all. Felt like cattle being ran in and out quickly. I just felt used and not cared about. The prices are astronomical. I usually go to the location in Lakewood and they are so nice and are always trying to find ways to be more affordable. I was even told that I was being charged more because it was not a reoccurring prescription purchase. That they would give me a discount if I keep coming back and refilling. Meaning, they could’ve applied a discount and chose not to. They didn’t tell me what I was being charged for, I had to insist what all I could’ve possibly gotten that cost $350 given the reason I actually showed up .... I think for a first time customer, who spent over $300 for a visit, applying a discount would be the customer service thing to do- especially telling me they had the power to apply one but didn’t because if it’s just a one time thing they want want to charge me the max. Just a very.... odd... thing to do I will not be back or repeat my business. Very sad as I rescue and train dogs and was looking for a closer place to frequent. I relayed this message to many friends. Word of mouth is the most detrimental or beneficial marketing that exists.hope the $350 means a lot, because it could’ve been way more over the length of many relationships I have with all the dogs I rescue/foster/and rehabilitate/train. Big mistake! You traded literally thousands for $350. Enjoy!

If I could give 0 stars, I would! I tried to come in this morning because my cat ingested Motrin (which is FATAL to cats) and the front desk lady was very rude and seemed annoyed that I was there. Considering the DIRE SITUATION, she did not seem to care about what was going on. Nobody was at the vet yet, it was just her. No technicians or vets were at the office when they were supposed to be open! When I asked how long it would take to be seen, she said a few minutes. When I pushed further NEEDING to know how long because my cats life hangs in the balance, she then told me that it depends on who gets there (although they were already open) and when they get there. When I kept pushing for a wait time, she said that surgeries were scheduled all morning and they would get to me after that. In a situation where a pets life hangs in the balance, this lady should have been more upfront that I would not get seen for a while (when the vet finally shows up and after all the surgeries). But instead, I wasted 10 minutes there trying to get a wait time. All the while my cat has something TOXIC in her body!!!! Never go here! They are also NOT associated with the VCA in Saginaw, which is actually a good vet! Avoid this place at all costs!! They care more about getting a paycheck and customers in the door than they do caring for pets!

I had a really horrible experience. Once they have your money, your pet is no longer a priority. I had a dog that hadn't eaten in days and I paid extra to have detailed test results that would be ready for me the next morning. I didn't get the results at all the next day after I called twice because "there were too many walk-ins." The day after I was supposed to get the results-an hour before they closed-I called again to ask for the results and I was told they had been too busy to call. I was worried about my dog and I paid to know what was wrong with her and I needed the results. I asked for a refund on my dog's tests since I had paid $200+ for tests that were two days late and still not known to me so that I could take her elsewhere. The refused to give me my money back for a service they did not provide. To top it all off, while I was waiting for the results over the course of days, I had multiple texts messages attempting to sell me other services like X-Rays before I had even gotten the test results I had paid for days ago. Take your pet elsewhere. This place does not keep there word or care how worried you are while watching your sick pet at home. I will never trust this place again with the well being of my dog. Later, the vet claimed that waiting an extra day isn't really a big deal when it had actually been two days and that is not the service for which I agreed to pay. I thought my dog was dying, a day is a huge deal to me! The whole thing was ridiculous, unprofessional, and wildly inconsiderate. If NEW customers are keeping you from giving CURRENT customers the services they paid for, your business has unethical, questionable practices. Especially when it comes the to the health of an animal.

Money making scheme......absolutely do not go here. Dog was treated for the wrong thing and then sent me another treatment plan including another exam fee. She missed the growth and your not allowed in... some of those fees should complementary when you make a mistake & you should wave your fees and I should only have to pay for the labs I originally would have had drawn. Or, you should pay for them too because in some cases you can cost a person their pets life when time is of the essence. I understand that mistakes happen, but I text them a photo of the growth, i had to call them to ask what the doctor said (after we just left). They text me his fecal exam results & when I text back a question, no answer. Nope don't take your animals here! I'm going to take that treatment plan elsewhere, get a better price & real care. His real vet is super awesome therefore hard to see. We will follow up n with him. Hopefully someone will cancel their appointment soon .

I'm in a disabled veteran my baby boy and I can't get to the VCA for his exam, so they cut off his heartworm test and they charged me anyway. I don't believe they understand about someone being in a wheelchair and how sometimes it's impossible for me to get out in the pouring rain. My wheelchair is electric and I can't get it in the rain do they not understand. Apparently not all this place is interested in is the all mighty dollar. I personally will not go back to them.

VCA Fort Worth helped my husband and I on one of the worst days of a pet owners life. Our beloved Mr.Winston was suffering from lung damage and his cough had just become unbearable. He could no longer sleep or even lay down. We called the VCA we go to and made an appointment for Saturday morning to end his suffering. When we got home Friday evening though, his conditioned had worsened and we knew that we could not wait any longer. VCA Fort Worth had the grieving room ready for us when we arrived. They let us make ourselves comfortable and spend as much time as we wanted with Mr.Winston in his final moments. We had never had to do this before but the receptionist, vet tech and doctor walked us through every single step. They showed patience's with us as we both cried and held our baby tight in his last moments. As tragic as the events of Friday evening were, we are grateful for the extreme amount of grace and respect shown to us at this location. I hope we never have to return under this circumstance but would trust them with either of my remaining two fur babies.

AVOID: Dr. Smith was my vet. I came in with a 5yr old corgi with a hot spot, thinking his lethargy was due to fever or back injury. They quoted me at $511 due to hotspot/ fever... After stating he didnt need a broad spectrum blood test ($211) , subdural fluids ($100+, not dehydrated, nor had a fever) as well as exchanging injection antibiotics for oral, I got the bill down to about $150 for an exam, pills and a shave. Turns out, not an infection. It was a back injury. Misdiagnosed, while trying to hike up the bill... . :AVOID

I have had several emergencies this year (a two legged monster that likes to hurt cats must live near me) and as a result I have not had an appointment when I went in. Despite this I have always been seen right away. I spay and neuter every stray cat I can catch and a couple of the strays needed extra help. The vets and techs were very patient and calming towards the animals I brought in. The place is very clean and has treatment rooms devoted to one species for those cats that freak out around dog smells and vice versa. Really recommend this place for anyone who wants a clean, calm atmosphere with knowledgeable, caring staff.

If I could give more then five stars I totally would!!! At first I wasn't sure what to expect but I was in need of an appointment asap. They were able to schedule me in within an hour due to a cancellation. When my dog and I arrived we were greeted by a friendly receptionist. Building was nice and clean. Nurse was kind. The Veterinarian Ms.Roller was passionate, knowledgeable and so helpful! I feel confident taking my dog here and I would absolutely recommend them!

Absolute kindness and understanding! Dr. Roller and her team are up on their Vet game. You can take that to the bank-I used to work as a vet tech and I know when someone is the real deal ♡ About their pricing... I am on limited income and very poor, when it comes to my pets care I will do anything to pay for the standard of excellence that I received at this VCA Clinic. I'll never understand why humans think they should bargain shop veterinarians. Vets go to school just like medical doctors and should be compensated as well as my primary care physician.
