I scheduled an appointment for Rabies vaccine and grooming for my cat. When arrived they added other fees and vaccination and said it is mandatory while they did not mention it over the phone when I was scheduling. Then, they said they are …

Customer service is poor. The girls at The Grand acted like they hate their job. I even attempted to make small talk by asking questions such as "How long have you worked here? Do you like it here?" Both girls I asked worked there for about a year and responded by saying "it is ok" while never making eye contact. Not too reassuring when you are dropping off your fur babies into their care for a certain amount of time! My animals spent 4 nights there and never got the services I requested such as nail trimming and baths. When I picked my dog up her whole back side was covered in poop. Plus my kitten came home with a mystery lump on her chin that was not there when I dropped her off DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE!! 1????????????

Living down the street from this amazing place is a huge perk. My fur baby enjoys the fun bone shaped pool! The front desk are friendly too.

This is the first time I left my babies anywhere. They had a good reputation and they were excellent to the dogs. We called quite often they didn't seem to mind ,we checked on them quite often they had cameras where you could see them all day really nice people. We're not hesitate to take them there again

The videos do not actually connect to the website. None of the food i brought for my cats were touched over the weekend and the night nurses who transported my cats into their carriers dumped my cats and litter box into the carrier. I ended up witnessing them do this from the parking lot and the wall is a large window. No wonder my pets got sick after the visit and i found litter all around.

Both of my Border Collies spend every other Monday there. They love it. I also had Mia groomed and she came out just amazing. I highly recommend this place and will continue to bring my doggies here for spa days.

Our miniature Labradoodle, Izzy, has been to the "beauty shop" at the Grand Pet Resort (now The PARC Grand Resort) her entire lifetime. She will be 11 years old in September of this year. Brittany and Destiny are her current groomers, but we have been pleased with every one of the groomers over the years. They are careful to follow our wishes for Izzy's grooming style and offer suggestions when thy feel appropriate. Izzy has some separation anxiety issues, but the staff is attentive to that and give extra effort in making her feel comfortable when I hand the leash over to them. The PARC Grand groomers will always be our first choice to attend to Izzy's beauty needs.

So I really tried to make this place work for my dog however we are now never going back. So here is my story: 1. I dropped my dog off for boarding since we had a couple of good playcare experiences there. I was going to visit my sick grandfather in New York and was gone 3 days. I called the 2nd day and asked if the groomer could trim his nails when he was there. The day I was to come back- 30 mins before I was to board I got a call that they had ACCIDENTALLY SHAVED HIM. My dog had a double coat, no professional groomer should shave a double coat dog without specific instructions. I was livid and devastated. They rectified the situation by not charging me when I picked up. Not to mention my dog is an ESA for my anxiety/ ptsd and I rely on his fur to snuggle and pet when I’m upset. 2. It’s ridiculous that they don’t accept checks and they don’t tell you. 3. My mom went to pick up my dog and tried to pay for a play pass. She was trying to explain to them that she got paid Friday and could pay then. The owner happened to be there and came out and told my mom there was no way she could get a pass unless she paid that day. Completely unprofessional and didn’t try to get to know my dog or my mother. They did nothing but apologize for this and allow me to pay the day I could. 4. I got a call stating that the manger had almost been bit by my dog and that he had done it before. I was NEVER notified of any behavior issues by them before or ANY of the places he has been to before. I asked them for more details and was told that he was a safety concern and had been escalating. Again I was never told of behavior issues before. I was told he did not have to be picked up and that this was my fault that he had not had proper training. I called later to check on him as I had given them suggestions on how to rectify the situation to be told he had been fine the rest of the day but was officially kicked out. I was devastated. When my mom assisted me in picking him up as I was still at work they informed me from front office staff that they had never had an issue with him before but that he had bit the manger this day. Yet she told she was almost bit. I was told if he wanted to come back he would have to complete his temperament test again, which he already passed once before. My mother also showed them that he has basic commands training there and they were shocked, when she went to get him herself she also found him being HUMPED by another dog and no supervision. I called the place he went to previously since he was a baby and was advised he has had NO issues regarding biting, temperament or aggression. Not sure where this is coming from at all but I really don’t trust them. Don’t go here. They are in for the money and nothing else. Plain and simple.

I have enjoyed taking my dog here for boarding for the last year however they just started this new rule that if you don't bring your dog during certain hours or pick them up in a certain time frame then they charge you $25 extra fee. Whats the point of using a facility that has a 24 hour animal clinic next door if you can only pick up your dog between 9 -12 in the morning or you get charged an extra fee. If you are traveling, it's almost impossible to plan you schedule around these ridiculous hours. I have loved taking my dog here the past year and you used to be able to drop your dog off anytime, even if it was after hours the animal clinic next door was open 24/7 and you could drop your dog off or pick them up there. Now this place has just become a Money Hungry establishment taking advantage of people. Great with animals and for boarding options but charging an extra $25 fee when its only $35 to board your dog for one night in the first place is crazy. That's almost an entire day charge and you don't even get to board your dog for a full 24 hours. Plus, I tried to go here for grooming my dog and they couldn't give her a bath. I understand my dog breed is afraid of water and probably more difficult to bathe, but this is supposed to be a professional establishment. If Petco could succeed in giving my dog a bath, I expect that the Grand Pet Resort would be able to. I was really disappointed. Overall, last year this place was great, but the more I come here, the more disappointed I get in service. They can't keep staff. I used to come in so often that the staff knew me by name, now the entire staff has been replaced and their new staff barely knows how to use the computers. Extremely disappointed in what used to be a great treasure has gone down hill dramatically.

The worst management, I ever seen. I supposed to drop off my cat for grooming in the morning and head to the airport to pickup my family but when I got there the lady in the register told me that the grimmer is sick. When I asked them why they didn’t call me, they lied and stated that sent me voice mail which was not true. Even though the day prior they sent out confirmation message and asked me to confirm my appointment. I drove there 30 minutes and I had to drive back to home to drop off my cat again to make some space for my family. I got to the airport really late because of this and my old mom had to wait there alone.which makes me really mad.Not recommended at all

This place took care of my cat for 10 days and here is what happened. They did not feed him as instructed because she said they FORGOT. He got a upper respiratory infection that went to his eye and is being treated by a doctor dir the last month and a half because they FORGOT to clean the kennels . Tried to talk to anyone a resort , they never returned call. Emailed owner and sent letter never has tried to call. This is going on for almost 2 months , with no reply. Maybe they will respond to the state agency

New to the area and stopped by The Grand to see about dog day care for our mixed breed shelter dog. After a very courteous and polite greeting, to include pricing and options, and that our dog would need a temperment test (all standard), we were informed that they do not accept Pitbulls. While, as a private business, the Grand is allowed to practice whatever breed restrictions they choose, I always find it odd when professionals in the pet industry 1) believe that Pitbulls are a breed in and of their own, and 2) that it is nature vice nurture. Animal professionals should know better - and if a temperment test is to be given anyway, let that be the deciding factor as opposed to what a dog looks like. I have known marvelously behaved dogs that would fall into the catch all of "pit bull" and I have known some terribly behaved pure breds. I am highly disappointed in the Grand.

I’m from Houston, and decided to take a road trip along with my dog. We went to Austin first and he had a blast! Then we went to Ft. Worth to visit some family, my family isn’t dog friendly like I am so I decided to board my dog Taco. Being unfamiliar to Ft. Worth, I looked on google and looked for places with a good rating. I stumbled upon this place and I am super glad that I did. They treated my dog Taco really well there, he was happy and the staff said they really liked him. I was so glad they took him last minute, so remember, if you are in the Ft. Worth area and you are looking to board a dog, please come visit these guys, they are worth it! M.J. was a big help and was super kind. All I know is that the next time I am in Ft. Worth, I will be boarding my dog here again. Highly recommend!

Except for getting the wrong room & webcam password for viewing. They were great and trusted that our puppy was in good hands.

Our sweet pup suffers from severe separation anxiety, so when we go out of town, it is really hard on him (and us!). We did a lot of research to find a place that had webcams that we could use to keep an eye on our pup, and found the Grand Pet Resort. We decided to pay a premium to have him stay here and we will never consider another pet resort again! First of all, be sure to call and make your reservations as far in advance as possible. Being the best place in town to leave your beloved pet means they are in high demand. I called in November for our pup’s stay in February with no problem getting our dog in for a 9 night stay. From the moment we walked in, Rebecca greeted us and got us all checked in. We warned her about our dog’s anxiety problems and she assured us they would be in touch if they had any questions or concerns and also assured us that we could call and check in as often as possible, which I really appreciated. And we checked in almost daily!!! I specifically remember speaking with Whitney and Brittany throughout our dog’s stay. Both of them were involved in caring for our fur baby and they were always honest about how he was doing, and I always felt like they genuinely cared about his well being. He was very anxious and not sleeping for the first few nights and they suggested that they take him over to the Hulen Hills Hospital next door to get him checked out for an exam to prescribe him anxiety medicine. They thought it would help him be more comfortable and allow him to get some rest, and we did not hesitate to heed their advice. I got phone call updates every step of the way and the hospital staff (there 24/7) kept him overnight the first night of the medicine to keep an eye on him and make sure he didn’t have any negative reactions. Since the Pet Resort does not have staff on hand 24/7, we were happy to know he had someone watching him overnight. We spoke with the Vet tech to let them know about his medical history, and the Vet was comfortable prescribing a certain anxiety medicine that would not have an impact on our dog’s health. They assured us it would simply calm him down, and allow him to get some rest and feel more comfortable. We were sad to know our sweet pup wasn’t sleeping well and wasn’t comfortable, but I was so grateful to know that the staff at Grand Pet was watching him closely and also concerned about his stay being a comfortable one. The staff at Hulen Hills hospital was also very genuine, and kindly kept us updated and let us know he was in good hands. After a short stay overnight at the hospital, our pup was doing well enough to go back to his suite at the Grand Pet. Through the webcam we could see that he was still very anxious so the Grand Pet staff suggested moving him to a more enclosed room to remove most of the distractions and allow him to not get so worked up when people walked by. Again, we trusted them and heeded their advice. His stay was much more comfortable in this room and we could watch on the webcam and we saw he was sleeping comfortably finally!!! We also requested that he get some group play time, but the required assessment for him to join showed that he was still very anxious and not enjoying it. So we asked that he get one on one play time every other day to get him outside and get him some exercise. When we called to check in they told us he really enjoyed play time and did really well, so it was well worth the extra fee to get him out and about. When we finally arrived to pick him up, they had all of his bedding washed and ready to go. We discussed the bill with Brittany and Rebecca, the manager, and she discussed the charges to ensure we agreed that they were all fair. However, our dog’s happiness and comfort is priceless. For that reason, we will continue to bring him here without hesitation and will recommend this place to all of our pet owner friends. Thank you Grand Pet resort (especially Whitney, Brittany, and Rebecca) for taking such good care of our fur baby and allowing us to call and check in often!!! We are so grateful for y’all!

My dog Mattie loves this place. It's the only boarder that she is not absolutely eager to leave at the end. The vet, Hulen Hills, is the same way about her. Everyone knows and remembers her and treats her as someone they want to pet.

Wish I could stay there! This the the only place we feel we can leave our dogs without lots of guilt. They are our children! They have a great time and they are safe, too.

This has been the nicest place for daystays and grooming. I can drop Roddy and Tucker off before I go to work and they are well cared for until I pick them up at the end of the day. One of the most convenient perks is that if veterinary services are needed, then the clinic is right next door. I don't have to make a separate trip. Finally, friendly faces always greet us when we arrive.

Usually a great place, but the last time we boarded pets there, the webcams weren't working. It was a big selling point, so it was kind of disappointing.

My furry girl has wonderful play time weekly at doggie play care and enjoys loving attention from the caring staff. The Hulen Hills Animal Hospital, Its Veterinary, staff and The Grand Pet Salon has been a great resource for all my canine girl needs. B.Pine

I have been using Hulen Hills since July of 2016. They have been great, they follow any instructions I leave them and have successfully kept my high anxiety rescue dog calm. I cannot speak to their grooming services because I have never used them. The day stays for my heeler have made my life so much easier and he is thrilled when we arrive at Hulen Hills.
