Very informative and friendly. Was taken aback by how much we had to pay. Four days after taking her to this animal clinic, my Lovey died in my arms. I followed their instructions on giving her her medicines. I am still devastated losing my cat.

Dr. Les is a very astute and caring physician for your pet. He was quickly able to make sense of our pet's case, make solid recommendations and made his level of care about our situation immediately apparent. Thank you Dr. Les, while this was our 1st visit to your clinic, I believe we've found out Go-to Pet Doctor.

receptionist always got an attitude

I can’t say enough about this clinic. My pup likes to get into just about everything… so she is chronically prone to roughing herself up. I’ve brought her on several occasions and we both love it. They introduced us to some anti anxiety medications that calms her for storms and fireworks . On this last occasion, I had just gotten in from out of town the day before New Year’s Eve to find her eye swollen and red. I called and explained the situation, knowing they were likely booked. They were booked, but squeezed me in to make sure Sasha didn’t have to suffer through the holiday . If you want a company to Treat your pets like they would their own, look no further.

South meadow provides exceptional service. Our pup has always had anxiety with storms and fireworks. Up until we brought her to this clinic ,we were not made aware that there was medication to keep them comfortable . They also responded quickly when we were close to running out of her meds just before the Fourth of July. I definitely recommend using!

My bulldog wasn’t feeling well this morning and I couldn’t get him in to see his regular vet. South Meadow Animal Clinic came up on a google search as being close by and I called to see if they could see us. The woman I spoke with was pleasant and professional and was able to get us an appointment to be seen this afternoon! Upon arrival, everyone I dealt with was very polite and professional and I felt at complete ease with a new vet/staff taking care of my baby! I especially appreciated the doc taking time to come discuss things with me face to face as they are doing curbside services due to Covid. Thank you so much for getting Mack in and setting up a treatment plan that I am hopeful will have him back to playing with his brother in no time!

My boxer Thor is 1yr and 4 months old. He has been with South Meadow since we brought him home at 10wks old. They have handled all of his wellness care as well as ear cropping. This year I moved and literally have a veterinary 5 minutes away instead of visiting them I drive almost an hour back to South Meadow. Ive been more than pleased with their attention to detail with Thor’s ears and basic needs. My trust is with this clinic and I highly recommend them for all your fury friends needs.

We just moved here and our dog was super sick we called South Meadow and even though they were almost closed they agreed to see her. Everyone was so nice even though they were kept late, they didn’t act like it bothered them , they seemed more concerned about the health of our dog. We knew we would need to find a new vet but didn’t expect 3 days after moving but now we have found our vet in Fort Worth.

I am so appreciative of Dr. Mayes and his staff at South Meadow! I have a senior dog that requires a lot of attention. Dr. Mayes and his team are always attentive, thorough, and kind. I always feel that my concerns are heard and feel they truly care about my pet.

I was going to get my Cane Corso's ears cropped but after seeing pics from a poorly done job and the negative reviews I think I will go elsewhere. Customer satisfaction is obviously not a concern. I feel bad for the owner of the pit that was mutilated. WOW !

Not happy with the results of the unprofessional staff at this facility. The blonde lady that works at the front is high on something maybe she is dipping into the animals pain meds. I would not recommend going to the vet to get eat cropping.

Super happy with the services provided for my pup Diesel’s ear crop procedure! the staff is super sweet and professional and give detailed information as to what your pet needs when it comes to vaccines and medicine. i’m extremely pleased with Dr. Mayes and the job he did on Diesel’s ears! I highly recommend seeing Dr. Mayes for your pups ear crop or puppy visits! pictures are from before, 1 month after the ear crop and 2 months after)

Drop off was more smoothe… But when I showed up to pick up animals, and the signs read that it is call only as the lobby is closed. It took 3 calls before someone answered and she wasn’t the most pleasant individual before stating they would be out in a little bit with the dogs. Overall it took 20-25 minutes just to retrieve the pups and it seemed like I was still inconvenient to them.

I took my dog to this vet for the first time in June 2020 for an allergy shot he gets every month. He has received this shot for 2 years and it works within 48 hours. Due to covid I wasn’t allowed inside. I told the guy who came outside that all he needed was this specific shot. He comes back almost an hour later with a $300+ bill of suggested services I didn’t ask for. I said no and asked for the shot I came for. I had a voucher for a free first exam but since I had called to get a quote they would not accept my voucher because I had called for a quote so I was “already in the system”. I was charged for an exam and the shot and the entire thing took over an hour. I 100% believe they did NOT give him the shot I ask and paid for. His allergy symptoms only got worse so I went to a different vet for the shot and it worked immediately. I personally don't trust this vet. Update: I received a call from the vet/owner about the initial review. He said he checked my records and my review was false. Reviews are opinions and this review is my opinion on the experience I had at this vet. He said he would have to talk to his attorney on how he can defend himself because he cannot share my dogs records. In my opinion, it sounded like a threat. I was asked to reword my review to make it sound more like an opinion so I did. Again, this review is my opinion.

We was planning to have our big boy Loc to sleep But we wanted a second opinion so we contact this clinic and they got him right in for x-rays to let us know what was going on with him our boy hasn’t walked in over 3 weeks with the medication the Dr prescribed him this was on Saturday today is Monday and our baby boy has made a couple of steps

To: SOUTH MEADOWS ANIMAL HOSPITAL 3020 Sycamore School Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76133 My Molly the sweet cocker spaniel is suffering and will be doing so for 3 more days. And we here at home know the reason why, and it's quite sad really. See, it seems like your business practices are preventing you from meeting your part of the Veterinarian oath, "the prevention and relief of animal suffering." Read that again, Dr. A dog is suffering and you sir, chose NOT to help her. Because of who I am, a disabled medically retired single lady with only $50 to buy ear drops. I'm easily entertained so please, I'd love to hear more of your excuses and justification.

I called the morning of 9/8/2021 The girl who answered the phone was extremely rude and not helpful. When I tell you she sounded like she couldn’t care less about what I called for and sounded like it was inconvenient to call her even though as receptionist it’s her job to answer the phone. I called and kindly asked if they had an available appointments because I had I just rescued a dog who was severely mistreated and she answered my question by saying “nah we don’t have anything available” and I asked if she had any recommendations or suggestions for my situation and she responded “I don’t know call other vets I guess not my problem” when I tell you I was kind and respectful and this girl had the attitude of teenage girl who just got her phone took up! Like seriously the unprofessional was way out of line! And I responded “thank you for you help I guess” and she sarcastically giggled and “mhmmm whatever”

My daughter left her dog in the South Meadow Care two or three times why we went for her appointments in San Antonio. They loved her dog, and played with him. Buster just loved it there. They took very good care of him.

Took my daughter's dog to yearly check up and shots.bthe vet is super nice and I would recommend them to everyone.

This vet tends to listen to our needs and consider all avenues to assist out pup.
