I wasn’t home when our Chi lost the use of her back legs after puking violently and my husband took her to the WRONG PLACE. he texted me to say that the receptionist was casual/dismissive and made him fill out very badly programmed forms on his cell phone while Oli was crying and shaking. I went there and told him that we were going to The Parc instead. I called this place back to let them know and she said “ perfect. We didnt have a contact number so we were not able to make an appt.” Really?!! We’re you going to come out and tell us that or just leave us waiting with a very distressed dog. DO BETTER!

Very poor service by Dr. Tims. He missed a very obvious injury to her back paw (dispute that we told them my cat hurt her back paw) the when questioned about the quality of care became very dismissive, ignoring me to drone on and on to the other person with me (who was not the owner nor the one paying) would not recommend

My fur baby ended up being euthanized but they were very sweet and caring through the whole experience which helped me so much.

An emergency vet is never something any pet owner wants to have to visit, but if you do find yourself in an emergency, this is a great place. Very compassionate care and they keep you updated. I unfortunately had to let my dog cross the rainbow bridge and it was truly heartbreaking. The staff all took the time to write a sympathy card and send it to me. They understand how much your animals mean to you and give amazing care in often stressful situations.

My dog have had diarrhea for two days…Today is Sunday and I thought I would place a call 3-4 times before driving over there . Every callA goofy lady answers the phone and she says something different like… “it’s ok…oh well… yes…etc” and then she puts the call on hold (music only) …BIZARRE

Amazing service, constant updates, I unfortunately had to have my fur baby put down. Everyone was so nice though and helpful, they were with me through the whole thing. My baby was comfortable and the staff was very good with her. I received a card in the mail after everything, that was from the staff they had all signed and wrote little notes, it was extremly heart warming. I wanna Thank the staff of Fort Worth Animal Emergancy, for make my baby Evaleen comfortable, you have helped me so much through this tough time.

Our teacup Maltese was severely injured. Dr G and her team explained the situation, provided an accurate estimate and timeline, and kept in constant contact with us over the 4 days they cared for her. Professional and kind, i highly recommend.

If I could give them a ZERO.these people are NOT here to help you or your animals. They will take your money an literally do nothing to help. They will say what sounds good at the moment an then it not be true.Nobody is accountable for there actions. Misleading I should of known better an went to the parc. If you want the best for your animal baby, please DO NOT go here. They DO NOT care.

Last week, our bichon-poodle hyperextended his right paw. We did not know that at the time. All we knew was that he had never whined in pain like that before. We could tell he was in a lot of pain. We attempted to take him to a sister-location closer to our home (Mansfield), but we received the worst service/bedside manner we'd ever experienced. We were informed there would be a 4-6 hour wait in a completely empty waiting room, and they wouldn't do anything for pain or otherwise unless he was "literally dying." We frantically started calling other locations in an attempt to get our dog seen sooner. We called this Fort Worth location and they informed us they would be able to get to him fairly quickly if we headed there right away and filled out the paperwork digitally, which was delivered via email. The phone call was an immediate tone shift. The young lady that answered the phone was sweet, kind, patient, and understanding. When we arrived, we were seen almost immediately. Our dog was taken into the facility, examined, and released within what felt like 30 minutes. They informed us of the hyper-extension, provided us with a few medications for pain and inflammation, and refrained from trying to gouge us for a more expensive treatment option. We were relieved! Yes, we may have been overreacting a bit, but when your little one is hurt and can't tell you what's wrong, this is a place I would recommend you take them! Thank you!

Two hours after initial call for emergency services and I still haven’t received forms to fill out. I was told that we would have to wait outside in the heat while our dog was seen. ( These Covid protocols are more strict than the human hospitals and clinics). I am hoping these restricts and service problems resolved once the world will resume full service.

It was time for my pet to be euthanized. Everyone at the clinic was very sympathetic to our feelings while still maintaining a high level of professionalism. I would recommend their ER services.

I went in around 10pm the lady at front desk was very rude. We found a stray and wanted to check if the dog was chipped. She basically told us it wasn’t our problem that we picked up a lost dog. I’m not sure if she had a bad day but no way should she have that behavior working there

I took my standard poodle to this hospital on Mothers Day of 2020 and Dr. Ferrell performed GDV surgery or "Bloat". He saved my 9 year old dogs life and I am forever grateful for the amazing care he received by their entire staff.

Showed up with my dog having uncontrollable diarrhea and vomiting, and they had me waiting outside for over 15 minutes. I called them to ask if my dog would ever be seen because my dog was in critical condition and I was told that they would grab her when they could as they see pets based on condition. I was the only person there and my dog was in VERY bad condition. lethargic. I will never bring any of my animals here again as they clearly have no sense of urgency for pets. we will be taking our animals to I-20 animal hospital from now on.

My sweet old girl collapsed and I rushed her immediately here. They saw her IMMEDIATELY and started tests. They worked out a plan and worked with my budget. Leia and I will be forever grateful she got to come home. I literally cannot thank y'all enough for everything.

Please always get a second opinion!!! My parents took my cat who was not eating or drinking. This place did many tests and bloodwork. The results were my cat was either stressed, possible cancer, and maybe diabetes. We thought we were going to have to put her down because that’s what it seemed like, that there was nothing else we could do. WELL...thank goodness for her vet. We walked in the day after ready to hear bad news and that she would have be euthanized. The vet looked at the results from this place and touched my cat and right away said she has a UTI....we spent over $400 at the emergency vet, while thinking the worst, for my vet to say my cat has nothing but a UTI....ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION!!!!!!!!!

This place does not care for your pet at all, your pet can die for all they care... they just want your money.

My German Shepherd has a broken pelvis, in 4 places. Went there for help. Only got drained. When I let them know we only had $400 , they billed me for $389 with tax. Then tried to get $2000 for an overnight stay till the surgeon was available the next day. We couldn't afford the $2000 so we took her home. We brought her back the next day for surgery help, only to be told that my pooch wasn't put in for an appointment because we're not rich enough for the overnight stay. When I called in the morning , they never called me back. Then I was seriously treated rudely when we got there. The lady said I never called her. Called me a liar. Then found out there are 4 clinics in this office. That's probly why they fight eachother and act so catty. I have never been treated with such disrespect. This place does not have its stuff together and treat the pet owner rudely. Be careful of the payment plans because each of the 4 clinics excepts different payment methods. Scratch pay for the ER room. Care pay for the surgeon, and just straight cash. They all operate separately and definitely treat eachother like competitors. Be weary and make sure they are trying to double drain you. Each of the clinics want a piece of your money. Very uncompasionate and very rude. Will never go back.

I called ahead with my little, sick best friend. My dog needed attention asap as he was on death's door. I left a detailed voicemail. With no response, I took him to the Parc in Fort Worth. It's been almost 3 days, and still never received contact from Fort Worth Animal Emergency Hospital.

I have never written a review before but my experience was just THAT pitiful. My grandfathers elderly dog was showing signs of fast deterioration and was becoming lethargic. We showed up and attempted to check her in but was met with nothing but sighs and snarky remarks. After waiting and having to emphasize the emergency, they unenthusiastically came out and demanded a $1000 payment. When asked what it was for and for clarification on treatment since we were not allowed in facility, I was met with a eye roll “well did you not listen?”.. if you care for your pet at all, I recommend PARC vet ER. Not only did they treat her right away (with no mention of payment), they also cared and listened to all of our concerns.

Beware of this place and always get a second opinion if you can. Call Veterinary Emergency Group in North Fort Worth. They were great! Regarding Fort Worth Animal Emergency Hospital - Within 12 hours of our 1 year old lab first showing symptoms of an intestinal blockage (not eating, drinking, uncomfortable), we took him to this place for evaluation because we suspected he got ahold of a sock, since there had been a history of this. What occurred after that involved an x-ray, then a treatment plan that included iv-fluid (to perhaps help move the blockage) and if not better in about 4.5 hours, their advice was to move forward with a very expensive (2.5k - 5k+) surgery to remove the blockage. I don’t want to pretend to know their motives as this might have been their genuine assessment of what needed to be done. But what I can say is how we felt during our experience - We felt that the vet was very high level with her explanations, was put out with our questions, made us feel guilty about our dog ingesting a sock, and the request to consent to surgery was high pressure. Keep in mind the VERY high price point of the surgery, the fact that our dog was not critical at this time, our dog is young and healthy, and at the time of anticipated surgery it would’ve been less than 24 hours after symptoms first appeared. It just didn’t feel right. I went with my gut and started searching for second opinions. I started calling around to other ER vets and found Veterinary Emergency Group in North Fort Worth. A lot can be said for customer service that includes compassion, reasonable conversations, and thorough explanations!! I felt 100% different and trusted them to care for my pet. We asked for our x-ray and took our dog to this other vet. When we got there, the x-rays were locked and we couldn’t read them. I really hope this wasn’t on purpose! However the new vet did x-rays for free to help us out. With their assessment of his overall vitals, health, and timing of the symptoms, they thought it was best to give him fluids and do x-rays the next morning. What do you know? The x-rays the next morning showed no blockage! Our dog passed the sock the next day and we are extremely grateful we got a second opinion!! Veterinary Emergency Group saved us a ton of money and all the potential life-long complications that my dog could’ve had with a major surgery. If your dog is not critical, get a second opinion from another ER vet if it involves a major expensive surgery!! Don’t feel pressured into anything without at least talking to another vet. [In response to their reply - another benefit of not choosing this ER is that the vet we ended up choosing (Veterinary Emergency Group) had better Covid restrictions which allow you to be with your animal! Their recommendation of a surgery in the middle of the night around 2am, less than 24 hours after symptoms was not the right treatment for us and our dog! You cannot change the “tone” of the conversation which was short, put out, and full of pressure. ]

My cat started having allergy like symptoms...Watery eyes and a little discharge. We called the Veterinary Hospital of N Texas. They had us checked into the hospital within 15 minutes. Dr. Ferrell called me 20 minutes after the check up and gave me the good news that my cat was going to be fine. He was very detailed and knowledgeable. All the nurses were amazing and polite. I would definitely recommend this animal hospital. FYI.. this was a curbside only visit because of COVID and unfortunately I wasn't able to go in with my baby during his evaluation but I know they took good care of him. 2 Days After Edit: Crimson is as good as new! :)

Our cat was showing symptoms of poisoning. They wouldn't even see him. He was drooling, convulsing etc. Took him to PARC and they saw him did an exam, treated him immediately and probably saved his life. Cant believe an emergency vet would not even see an animal in distress. Avoid this place!

Worst place I’ve ever been with my dog. She was attacked by another dog and had some wounds on her shoulder. They charged me $500 up front and told me that she needs a surgery that costs $1200. I resigned and took my dog home, the next day went to my vet who told me that she doesn’t need any surgeries and will make it by herself. All this place cares is money. WILL NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!

Let’s just say if you are emotionally attached to your pet and they see that they will prey Upon u and try to get as much money out of u as they can so be careful not to show too much emotions. These people got me for $4,000 for three days stay and try to get another $7,000 for an operation that they couldn’t guarantee would work or save the life of the pet . So I took my pet else where for a second opinion and that doctor said my pet was absolutely ok just a little Pneumonia and nurse my pet back to health in about a weeks time and only charged me $700 . This place is Cruel be carful coming here .

I would like to start this negative review by highlighting the one positive about this place and that is the staff were extremely kind. Aside from that, I am greatly disappointed in the quality of care or lack thereof that my dog received. I brought my dog in on a Saturday morning due to him aspirating and vomiting excessively with labored breathing. Due to Covid, you are unable to accompany your pet which I completely understand, however, there is no way to ensure what is actually being done or not being done to your animal under these circumstances. I was told the suggested treatment of an anti-nausea injection and multiple view radiographs. Subsequently was told the work-up was normal and he was discharged a couple of hours later with no other after care aside from OTC Omeprazole for the next week. $779 was the cost for this visit. A day later, my dog woke up doing the exact same thing and I decided to take him to another emergency hospital that we have used in the past for our other dog. My dog is currently hospitalized in the ICU with a severe case of pneumonia that was obviously missed at the previous location. Our current expenses over the past 3 days has surpassed $2500 for a problem that should have and could have been caught by the first location. In essence, pneumonia in dogs, especially in breeds such as American Bullies can be deadly if not treated rather quickly. I would not recommend anyone take their pet here. The motivation seems to be more about money rather than providing quality care. My vet recommends this place on their website and I have informed them of my experience as well. I cannot fully articulate my disappointment in this place and I would caution anyone considering taking their animal here.
