We just recently moved to the area and needed a vet for our chocolate lab and german shepherd. This place had great reviews and after the first visit, it was easy to see why. They are super friendly, absolutely love animals, extremely clean and sanitary, and made the visit fast and easy. Highly recommend!

If I could give this place 10+ stars I would! We were recently faced with the absolute worst moment for any pet owner - our sweet Buddy crossed the rainbow bridge. I reached out to these guys, at a loss over what to do. They were so kind. Empathetic. Loving. Respectful. Everything you would want in someone who is caring for your pet. They provided us with options and made the process so easy. I cannot say enough about how amazingly wonderful they were and are! Their care and compassion really made one of the worst days of our lives a bit easier to process. Thank you so much to everyone at this business! <3

We have used this vet since we moved to Forney a few years ago but our dissatisfaction with handling the care of our dog with seizures led us to make a switch. One of our dogs is on medication that requires annual blood work to make sure there is no renal damage. I called in early September to schedule an appointment since I knew my dog was due in October. I specifically mentioned the medication he was on and why he needed bloodwork. I received a call back and was told he was up to date on all labs and we would not have any issue getting our medication. Fast forward to November: we are out of refills so I called and left a message asking for more refills to be sent to our pharmacy. I then received a call back from a technician stating we had no refills left because he needed bloodwork so they would grant us 1 month refill but he needed to come in as soon as possible for the needed bloodwork. When I expressed my frustration that I had already tried to schedule his appointment and was told he was up to date, the woman on the phone essentially blamed me for the mix up. She told me that since I did not specifically state the medication he was on and say he needed levels for that medication (which I did), that the person who viewed his records didn’t know because he was up to date on routine bloodwork. I did my part as a pet owner by calling to get him scheduled, and it was their incompetence that caused the mix up.

I am so happy we found this vet clinic. My sweet girl Angel cut her paw on something in our yard and they were able to get me in the same day and have been working with me for over a week now with trying to heal her paw. They have continued to go above and beyond with caring for her. Everyone has been amazing and so helpful.

Super friendly staff that are great at conversations as well as discussing any questions related to my pet. Great at communicating in person as well as over the phone! The building is very well kept and clean.

Best care for my dog, got an appt next day, boarding at the last minute too

Dr Goodwin is the vet to see. Always available to see your pet when you go in. She calls the next day to see how their doing .

Animal Medical Center of Forney is amazing! They have a great staff that truly cares about you and your fur family! They are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to your pets health! I have been taking my puppy girl there for 8 years now! Definitely recommend ????

Everyone on the staff is super nice and professional. The second you walk in, you and your pet feel very welcome. They honestly care for all pets and they take pride in what they're doing. I'm very happy with the service they are providing. More importantly, my dogs are happy.

First time visit, they were able to fit me in, same day. It was in general a very pleasant experience. EVERYONE seemed empathetic, the Vet (Dr. Clinton) was personable and present throughout the process, and Morgan made a anxious experience very do-able.

They are the best vet I have ever used when I needed almost at close just told me to bring right up there. They are awesome Dr. Goodwin and Dr Clinton.

Great environment and everyone was so nice. I also appreciate they were able to see my new puppy on short notice.

They exceeded every expectation. I had to make a difficult choice with my cat and they were very understanding and helpful in explaining the symptoms and problems he was having. Best veterinarians you can find.

First visit for our pitbull puppy and I left feeling very comfortable! Staff and Dr. Goodwin were all amazing! Very sweet and welcoming! Professional and warm environment, they truly treat you and your fur babies like family. Looove it❤️ All my questions were answered and believe me I probably asked too many lol they were all great! Highly recommend!!

I sent a message to the address listed on their website to schedule an appointment and never got a response. When I showed up to their office days later, they advised that they’re by appointment only as they’re under staffed. With this said, I understand companies are under staffed throughout the US, however, a simple return call would of eliminated my showing up and then being frustrated and disappointed as I’ve never had a previous issue. I need to bring my dog in ASAP so can someone PLEASE contact me as my pup needs his meds. Thank you.

I called around to several places to see if i could get a last minute appointment for pup and they were the first place to ask what was wrong when they didn’t immediately have anything open that day. everyone else just said no sorry bye and hung up. they then put us on a call back list for cancellations and within an hour or so they called back with an opening in an hour. they were very sweet with my baby and i’ll be sure to bring her back next time. :)
