They were Awesome with my fur baby GreyC she wasn't fussy and she didn't complain after she got home. They gave her some pain medication and once it wore off she seemed to be fine I will be using them for all of my cat's

We trust all the staff at Deasons Animal Clinic. We have 5 dogs and they take care of all of them for regular and emergency care. The staff is very caring and truly want the best for your animals.

It was a bit of a drive but must say....well worth it. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The spade surgery was done very well. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. Thank you to all the Dr's, Vet techs and other staff that helped in caring for my little Sheba ❤ ????

Dr. Scott Stevens, Thank You! This week, my Mom's 13 year old dog, laid down and could not get up again. He was in a lot of pain and after speaking to Dr. Scott, he agreed BB needed to be put down but was unsure if he could make a house visit on a weekend. BB was close to a hundred pounds so just picking him up and carrying him into the animal hospital was out of the question, even if he had not been biting at us if we tried to move him. Dr. Scott did take time out and came to the house and he was able to take away BB's pain. He was gentle, kind and very compassionate with BB and my mom. Having botttle fed BB as a pup, she was very attached to him. Dr. Scott, You are just wonderful! Thank you for setting a terrific example of how a Vet should & can make a difference in the lives of pets as well as the families that love them.

Great staff! I had an emergency appointment because my cat hurt himself. They got me in right away and were amazing. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could. On a side note, there was a terrible screaming and singing child in there the entire time and it really stressed my cat more and cost me extra because we had to sedate him for something he wouldn't have had to be sedated for. If you can't keep your child within reasonable control at the animal hospital, don't bring them.

I'm a visitor to the area and needed yearly checkups for my three dogs. I was so very disappointed with my experience here. They kept me waiting for a long time. The vet Dr Stephen's would barely talk to me and was condescending and unfriendly. They took all three of my dogs away from me to do the testing and cut their nails, and charged me $18 per dog for nail cutting when I spent over $500 that day. Outrageous. The worst thing was that the vet missed a serious issue with one of my dogs. I took him to Chaparral in Jourdanton and he has to have kneecap surgery. How did she miss that? The second vet was much better in every way. On leaving I stood at the counter waiting to pay and was completely ignored. I had to interrupt someone to get help so I could leave. They were busy I understand that but someone could have told me they were busy and that they'd be right with me. So unfriendly. Is everyone miserable there. Worst vets I have ever been to.

Have taken all of our animals to this clinic. We moved to new Braunfels and took our new English bulldog to Chisholm trails vet (Big Mistake ) and he ended up bleeding and needing a urethral prolapse surgery, and they called the most expensive specialist cause they quoted us at $4,000. We almost thought about putting our poor dog down, because we couldn’t afford it. But decided to call our old vet at Deason, and what a life saver. The surgery was only $200 and got him neutered so he shouldn’t have the issue anymore. This is by far the best vet you could ever bring your animals to. They actually care about your pet and not just about your money. I would recommend them to anyone. We paid more for the X-ray and UA at Chisholm trails then the whole surgery, overnight stay, and anesthesia at Deason.

Didnt send my dog home with pain meds or called a referral in to orthopedic surgeon she was ran over by truck twice than got up and ran away till We found her in the morning We took babygirl in they did X-rays and said we need to put her down I couldn’t do that to her she never gave up on me I am type 1 diabetic and she alerts my husband when my sugar is dropping even after I bring her back home from the hospital they told me to take her to an orthopedic surgeon but didn’t even send in a referral for her. UPDATE: Babygirl is a trooper she lived and is doing great she runs around just fine now

I chose this place because it had great reviews and I was willing to drive 40 minutes all the way from San Antonio to get help artificially inseminating my female Pitbull. I paid $150 for a preliminary exam on my female dog just for the staff to tell me they couldn't help with the artificial insemination because she was "too aggressive". If my dog was too aggressive then they should not have let her get inside the establishment in the first place and I would have saved $150.

This is an amazing veterinarian clinic. They took us in immediately as an emergency and quickly treated our dog suffering from severe heat stroke. They kept us up-to-date on her condition multiple times per day. They answered any question we had and even reached out to emergency vets for additional treatment information. Our girl would not be here if it wasn't for Deason! They were very clear with cost during each phone call which was very very reasonable considering the care they provided day and night. Over all couldn't be more satisfied with their services. Thank you for saving our girl Chicken ????❤

September 24, 2021 is the day that my fiance and I had to say goodbye to our rescue great Dane. Due to his history of being abused and his age, his health had deteriorated fast and it was a tough decision but we knew we had to make it. Since he was such a large dog, we were able to keep him in the car and stay by his side through the whole thing. The whole staff was so sweet, caring and professional. Not only did they help our amazing boy cross over but they made sure to comfort him along with us. Both vets at the hospital are very knowledgeable and professional and everybody who works here absolutely loves animals. No matter if it's a check-up or the hardest decision you'll every make for your four legged family member, I recommend deason 100%

This is a wonderful Veterinary Hospital who pays close attention to each and every animal that is brought in and gives that animal and the owner or finder of a lost animal their utmost love and compassion.

Other than 45 minute wait after appointment was supposed to be Cassie was treated with care and the staff was very professional. Hopefully with these meds we can get this blind sneezy kitten back on track. Great place other than drive i face with screaming cats. Wish they were closer.
