Dr K and his team were extremely compassionate with our 15+ year old dog who was in declining health. We are full time RVers and needed a vet to evaluate our pup. Dr K and his team took great care to review a previous evaluation from a vet in CO Springs and recommend an ultrasound for more information. With the results of the quick procedure, Dr K offered us his advice on euthanasia. He let us pick the date so we could spend time with family before going back in. When we arrived back a few days later, his team spent time explaining the process to us, were very compassionate to us and our pup. Dr K was very caring and answered all our questions, gave us options to stay or go (we stayed through entire event). Although a very tough situation, we are so glad we went to Startz Vet for a heartbreaking event. Based on our experience, we can highly recommend Startz Vet for animal care. Thank you Dr K and staff, we will always remember how caring you were during our time of need.

Warm, welcoming, happy staff. Must have exceptional techniques, because our grumpy boy didn't mind one bit.

We are very happy with our vet. They are proactive and not overly expensive. We recently took our Frenchie to take care of an ear infection. $175 for treatment, and three different medications. The vets and technicians are really pet and human friendly.

They take their time to answer questions and always have an answer or will find one for you. I worked with this office in a professional capacity and they are Awesome. the staff is super friendly, they treat each pet with a lot of love, we started with our new baby, then we took our 8 year old cat girl who was sick, it turned out to be just a congestion due to allergies. Thanks for being so professional and kind.

We've had many vets in the last 40 years, caring for eight kitties. Since we've been in the Hill Country, we've found two of the best. I can't say enough about Startz Vet; they just took care of Gracie's passing. Marissa answered the phone, which was the first indication that we had an excellent clinic close to home. She is amazing. When their doctors and staff are available —late afternoon—they can make home visits for a reasonable fee. When we called, that service was available. Dr. Kaufman & Tanner arrived, and they're exceptional. Kind, gentle, and they were not in a hurry. It was clear they love what they do, and they care about helping in every way. We highly recommend Startz Vet. {We had to let Gracie go as she had progressive heart failure. She became one of our outdoor kitties about 18 months ago, and we brought her inside when the cold hit last February. It was clear she was older, but we didn't know how old. One of the sweetest kitties. We'll miss her.}

Recently I had to put our 21 year old cat Moon Pie to sleep. Probably one of the hardest days for me, it was my first time to do it as all other pets have died naturally. Dr. Kaufman was understanding of this, very sympathetic and explained the procedure and what she would experience as she passed on. He and his assistant were so very kind. What really impacted me afterwards was the sympathy card that was sent to us signed by the doctor and the whole staff. That extra effort means so much, to know that my Veterinarian cares enough to follow up with a personal sentiment is more than I ever expected. Its a real comfort to have a caring pet doctor and I will always take my animals to them.

Everyone is super nice, they genuinely care about the pets they are treating. Good prices, they will also work with you if you have a specific budget. After my kitty passed away they sent a very sweet card in the mail sending us prayers. Would definitely recommend!

This is the only vet office in the area that returns phone calls if you have to leave a message. The team here is so compassionate and caring. I have had to put down 2 of my pets here and they did their best to make them comfortable and give us time to grieve. The way they handled things gained my loyalty.

Phenominal Veterans and staff! Friendly, caring, helpful and informative. I took my 7 year old cat in on an emergency for a bladder problem that I thought was an obstruction. Luckily it was not but since I took him in as an emergency and messed with their very busy schedule , I expected the bill to be around $400.00 or better. It was $172.00 but that included the visit itself, his Rabies shot, blood work that I requested, 25lb bag of special urinary food, 6 cans of special canned food, his IV's AND the antibotics. I was a first time customer but now I'm a life long customer. Thank You Startz !????

Brought Max my dog here twice for nail clipping and his shots. They were very caring with Max.
