Was visiting the austin/dripping springs area for a weekend trip and my pup got really hurt. Dripping Springs Animal Hospital was the closest to us and I am so thankful that we found them. They were able to squeeze us in on such short notice and was so sweet to our dog. We felt like our pup was in great hands and they were so hospitable. Honestly if I lived in the area I would have loved for them to be my primary vet. THEY WERE FANTASTIC! Cannot speak more highly of them!

We love going to DS Animal Hospital. Our Cocker Spanial, Wyatt, drags me in whenever we arrive. He thinks it's just another part of his home. We love the service Wyatt gets and have total confidence in the veterinary care that he receives there.

My first experience at DSAH was over 10 years ago. Of course, my cat started bleeding on a SUNDAY night. I received a call back within 30 minutes and I was left feeling assured about my cat's situation. Fast forward all these years later. I no longer live in DS, however, I STILL take my pets there because they are always friendly, responsive and the prices are reasonable for their services. I feel like I am valued and getting value.

So grateful to the staff at Dripping Springs Animal Hospital for going out of their way to make Pearl feel safe + loved. As a farm dog, not used to leaving home, she was terrified when she arrived. But the receptionist sat with her + loved on her for a LONG time to make her more comfortable. The entire staff was kind, helpful, professional + most importantly, they LOVE animals! Thank yall!

I brought my new puppy, Luke, into Dripping Springs Animal Hospital this week for his initial exam. The vet tech was very helpful and loving to Luke. The vet thoroughly answered all of my questions and concerns. Luke's experience was fabulous! 10 stars awarded to Dripping Springs Animal Hospital.

Everything is always perfect when we bring our pups here. I wouldn't trust anyone else with them. The doctors genuinely care about our dogs and more importantly care to take the time to educated us and talk to us on any matter. The tech staff is amazing as well. I can't tell you how many times I have called worried about something occuring with my dog and the techs have walked me through at home care and told me when to bring them in if it was serious. The team is amazing and I am so thankful to have found a group that cares for my fur children as much as I do.

Dr. Shuman and the clinic did a fantastic job! My pet rat needed surgery and it was pretty hard finding someone who worked with unique pets/small mammals, but then I reached out to the Dripping Springs Animal Clinic! They were super professional, COVID-safe, very communicative, and did an all-around great job!

Fantastic. My 20 lbs dog was badly bitten but a large bull dog. Even though they were jammed on a Saturday morning they fit her in and stitched her up. Great care and great service. Many thanks to the staff at DSAH.

We took our dog here for ACL replacement. So happy for our decision. The entire staff is friendly, patient and very caring. Both vets are fabulous. We saw Dr. Shuman. He was so caring and would take care of minor things without a big bill. Such good value for your beloved pet. The clinic is super clean and cute!!

Our experience at Dripping Springs Animal Hospital echoes the same themes that Kelsey Gates mentioned in her 5-star review (the most recent Google review at the time we wrote this). We had been loyal to our previous vet for many years but felt an ongoing challenge in getting in to see our provider when we really needed to. There was always a lengthy wait or only an option to see a relief vet if we needed quicker care. We finally decided to give another vet a try and had been recommended to DSAH. Just as Kelsey said, they got us in right away and spent a lot of time with us. Although we didn't have an emergency situation, our dog is our only child and she needed to be examined because she was not acting like herself. Colleen and Persia gave us so much time and never rushed us or made us feel like we were imposing on them or their busy schedules. They patiently answered all of our questions and gave us a lot of reassurance. Our dog also needed a dental cleaning and we were amazed to find (just like Kelsey said, too) that the estimate at DSAH was half of what our previous vet quoted! Finally, our dog has had trouble with the post-op effects of anesthesia and we called after the cleaning procedure to ask some questions. Once again, the staff and doctor gave us plenty of time and patiently discussed everything. They were even so considerate to call back later that same day just to check if our dog's condition had improved (thankfully, it had by then)! We are so glad to have found Dripping Springs Animal Hospital and look forward to being patients for a long time.

We have used Dripping Springs Animal Hospital for over 10 years. They have been there for us through everything from annual exams to the loss of our beloved first pet. I highly recommend Dr. Schumar and the whole team.
