It's a good, clean store with a friendly staff. While you're there you should check out the adoption cats and see about taking one home. They are adorable. Whiskey, the ginger cat, is super affectionate and wants to go home with you.

I sent my Bichon Malti-Poo for a light cut & wash & she comes back looking like a rat for $89. I will never go to petsmart again. P.s. was not matted.

Would appreciate it if they could post any reduced hours online. Makes it pretty hard to get food for my special needs pet between work shifts. Showed up at 6:30 and they were closed.

I love to buy from Sherman PetSmart and even get home delivery I always get what I what or need and the returns are easy. And they sell X-Large dog outfits which are hard to find

Petsmart Grooming review: Earlier this year, I specifically asked the groomer NOT to cut my dog’s tail several times. However, surely enough, his tail was cut when I arrived at pick-up… Today will be my third visit, and I’ve already had a negative experience with staff at drop-off. I, of course (due to a past experience), adamantly asked for the staff member, Del, not to cut his tail at drop-off and the employee immediately backed out of the groom and passed my pup off to the manager. •Not only does this mean that my already anxious pup will be sitting in the crate longer while waiting for his groom, but the instance also shows the original staff member’s feelings of incompetence to follow the ONE direction I asked of them… Come on. •Second, the manager didn’t even think to approve the switch with me before the appointment and argued with me prior… Hoping for better results today, despite this incident. Otherwise, I will not be returning. Please treat your customers with respect when you have previously disrespected a customer’s ONLY grooming direction.

No employees to be found if you need help to ask a question. Only one person ever working the register so lines always backed up. Might be having to find a different pet store.

This review is strictly for the dog training experience I received a few weeks back. Apparently my dog was too noisy for the trainer and the group so the first day, my dog was sent out to walk around the store with me and we got to learn nothing from the class I PAID for. The trainer also brought her dog who was kenneled up and barking and my dog was able to go up to the Kennel and they started to fight. Her dog made his way out of the Kennel and I was the only one who tried to stop it. I then ended up getting bit, and was sent home. So if you have a dog who needs training, petsmart dog training can't help you! It's a huge waste of time and money.

I very rarely leave bad reviews but today took the cake. I made an appt for grooming for 6 pm and filled out paperwork online that told them my dog had a medical condition. I got a call saying I could come earlier so I did. I get there and they tell me that because of my his condition I needed to wait 30 min…which would be 6 pm. I say ok, (wondering why they would call in the first place to come earlier, but I agree) wait in the car, take him in and they look him over and tell me they’ll call when he’s ready. I get a call 5 min later saying he’s lethargic but alert and they don’t feel comfortable grooming him. I appreciate the concern but he’s 14 and he’s fine, he’s a very calm dog , even when being groomed which he gets complimented on a lot, I explain that to them. Then they say oh, well he has some matts on his belly (which admittedly I missed) and instead of suggesting a different appointment time at a later date they say “You’ll need to take him to a groomer”. I’m like you are a groomer. This will be my last time using Petsmart grooming.

Made my dogs appointment with Karla two weeks before hand, the groomer calls me at 930 the day of asks if I can bring her in early and I couldn’t. So I get there to drop her off, and I’m only 10 minutes late and they tell me because I’m ten minutes late they couldn’t groom her. I know it was because I couldn’t bring her in earlier that day. Karla was also with another dog when we tried to get her groomed. Seems like someone over booked herself. Either way very unprofessional and very frustrating. We will not be using pets mart grooming again.

My family and I took our puppy for a haircut, and when we came back to pick him up they gave him to us with a bandana, which we found strange because we didn't ask for it. We were confused but didn't make a big deal out of it since it was free. Until a few days later we notice that our puppy kept scratching his neck and realize he had A BIG AND HORRIBLE CUT IN HIS NECK!!! We are never taking him to a haircut there ever, my poor puppy must've suffered a lot being hurt and apart from us. Fortunately it healed and didn't get infected, but we were so angry.

I love the staff at Petsmart on Loop 288 in Denton. Every time I need help, they are so informed and responsive. They show genuine concern and are so considerate in my pet’s immediate need. 10/10. Highly recommend.

Nice location. Clean. Bright. Stocked well. Never had an issue finding what I need. However, whoever does their scheduling clearly hates their staff. About the last 6x I've visited there's been 1 cashier and at least 5-6 people in line. Worst was about a dozen people. Expect a wait when you checkout.
