this place is literally the best thing that has ever happened to us. we have a very high energy mix and she always comes home happy and tired. they send us multiple photos of her throughout the day and she is nearly always out and about playing. Busy loves Lucky Dog!!

Our dog sunny lovesss Lucky dog ranch! When we go to pick him up we usually have to peel him away b/c he has so much fun with the other doggies! We love lucky dogs ranch because of the spacious land the facility has to offer. Jeff and his wife truly have a passion for these dogs and they handle them all so well! I would highly recommend this place.

I take my boy Winston to the Lucky Dog and he always has a great time and comes home exhausted! Jeff and Sue are amazing and take great care of the pups. 10/10 I recommend ????

Love Lucky Dog Ranch. It’s a great play place for my pups and overnight boarding. We’ve been there for over 3 years and both our dogs are exhausted from swimming and walking with other dogs. Jeff and Sue are wonderful and very aware of your animals needs as well as taking care of them.

Place seemed good. My dog stayed there for the day and when I picked him up he was normal not freaked out. Price was great.

Lucky Dog Ranch has done a fantastic job caring for my fur baby, Zaria. She loves going to daycare every week to see Jeff & Susan and I can rest easy during the day knowing that she will be well looked after. Zaria can be a bit shy at first, but they have been amazing with her & I’m so happy with how she is doing. She always has a great time & comes home exhausted- So grateful for LDDR!

Took my dog there for evaluation and it was great. Can't wait for my pet to experience more kennel free boarding.

Lucky Dog is BY FAR the best doggie daycare our fur babies have ever gone to! And they've been to quite a few in the area. Jeff and Susan are amazing with the dogs and keeping the 'pack' happy and healthy. Our previous daycare situation resulted in two emergency vet visits before we decided to switch to Jeff's and now our two girls come home happy, healthy and TIRED 3-4 days per week. The long walks Jeff takes them on throughout the day have even helped our chunky Bluetick lose some weight! Can't recommend enough!

Lucky Dog Ranch is such a wonderful place! Our dog trainer suggested this place to help our newly adopted 1.5 year old lab get out his excessive energy. Our dog has only been attending a few times a week for the past 3 weeks and immediately it helped! He no longer gets destructive at home because of his high energy level and is so much calmer. He absolutely loves going to Lucky Dog Ranch and literally drags us to the gate. He spends his days there playing with all the dogs in open fields, swimming in the pond and running through the woods...and is exhausted when we bring him home. Jeff is wonderful to work with and is very knowledgeable. He always greets us at the gate and we know our dog is in good hands when we leave. You won’t find a better place in the Denton area for your dog than Lucky Dog Ranch!

We have been with Lucy Dog since the early years and I can’t say enough about this place. It’s the best of the best and I agree with the concept of dogs being in a big group (the pack). It creates happy and balanced dogs. Jeff and Susan being their love and expertise to this business and our dogs’ favorite words are “ Do you wanna go see Jeff?”

We brought our dog to Lucky dog from 2012-2014. We moved out of state and have not been able to find anything that compares to lucky dog since. They gave our shelter dog an opportunity to socialize, run, and be happy. Before that she was nervous and afraid. They did a lot for our dog that we as owners could not provide. I am so thankful to have found them.

Best most wonderful place for a dog with Jeff and Susan

Saw this when searching for somewhere to put my pup for daycare, and it looked PERFECT! Called them to inquire, and the man who answered the phone was very rude and curt, told me "we're not taking any more dogs". I politely asked how long this was the case and when they'd open up again or is there a waiting list...he gave me a vague answer and hung up before I was done speaking to him. Come to find out, my co-worker had the EXACT same experience a few months ago. If you're no longer accepting animals until further notice, that's fine, but then put that somewhere on the website so we dont waste our time. But even more discouraging was the rudeness when we called. So unprofessional! I'm glad I didn't use them.

Our puppy, Jango, has been going to Lucky Dog Ranch for 3 months. He is a highly active 7-month old lab mix who is easily bored and needs lots of exercise and mental stimulation to release his energy. My husband and I work full time outside the home. Before Lucky Dog, we would come home to a puppy who was out of control with pent up energy. Taking him for walks and to the dog park daily hardly put a dent in fulfilling his needs. We were exhausted and at our wits end until we found Lucky Dog Ranch. Lucky Dog is doggy heaven sent. Jeff & Susan live by the Doggy Golden Rule…treat all dogs in their care as though they were their own. We would never leave our puppy anywhere that didn’t have our full trust and we trust Jeff & Susan implicitly. Every morning Jango is anxiously waiting at the front door for me to hurry so he can get to Lucky Dog. As soon as we drive through the gate and up to the ranch he can hardly contain himself. He’s waiting to pounce out of the car to meet Jeff. Once Jango is with Jeff he never looks back. He follows behind Jeff like Jeff was the Pied Piper. Susan cheerfully greets me at the gate in the evening when I pick Jango up and she gives me the run-down of Jango’s day. He swims, walks through wooded trails, barks at cows and plays with his friends all day. Once Jango is in the car, he’s asleep. He is down for the count the rest of the evening, worn out and content. Jango has become so much more of a balanced dog since taking him to Lucky Dog. No more nipping, tearing at my clothes, jumping on people or herding kids at the dog park. I rarely write reviews on a business. Lucky Dog Ranch is too wonderful not to.
