I'm a new cat owner. I had called this place several times (morning and evening) two days in a row. But it just rang and rang and never went through. So I stopped by to get info and to see what I need to do to set up an appointment. I didn't know anything, I just wanted information. The girl behind the desk seemed pretty annoyed by my not having a clue, and acted like it was common knowledge that "the phones only get turned on when all appointments are done / or I probably called when someone was on the other line" She then told me that if the phones are busy I can just hop on Facebook to set an appointment. All I wanted was information on neutering my cat. She then has me write my info down on a sign in sheet, starts telling me what I got wrong on the sheet, walks away etc etc., and I still am just trying to get info on neutering my cat.. 5 minutes later I called up Wise County Animal Clinic Inc, they answered the phone and were polite and set my appointment in 2 minutes.

The best Vet in town! Very caring staff.

Well the parking lot was nice. 2 hour wait and gave up.that either speaks as to how good they are to be so popular or just how slow they are. After one attempt I'm not qualified to say which one. Made an appointment and will update when I'm more informed

Robin Waller was AWESOME with Biggs. She has treated him twice now and she has done a GREAT job!!! If trust her with Biggs anytime of day!!! She rates more than 5 stars in my book !!!!

I have used this clinic for several years and Dr Harrison is top notch! My last visit with Dr Smith was not so good. My daughter in law took my dog for a lab test and was treated unprofessional by Dr Smith - telling her my dog was not receiving her meds correctly - the following day I took my dog for a second opinion and found the lab levels to be therapeutic and spot on - not sure what happened and if someone else received my results and vice versa - no return call after I found the error …: very disheartening to say the least

I’ve been using these vets for years. They’re the best and definitely worth the wait. We take our dogs, cats and farm animals. I can’t say enough good things about them.

Honest, Straightforward, and very compassionate clinic.

Will not return. Will not recommend. When the assistant wouldn’t listen and just kept trying to push a generic “he needs meds” answer without being able to give an explanation we began to record the conversation. They were given samples but kept asking for descriptions admitting they had not even looked at the samples. The Dr then says ON VIDEO “I don’t need to look at anything I know what it is & these are the meds”…WOW. When we refused to accept that answer& after asking more than 5 times to LISTEN AND EXPLAIN she corrected herself after FINALLY looking at something and she said no meds were needed and it wasn’t what she thought. Probably just another bs answer to push us out. My pup vomiting again this morning. I guess that’s what happens when you don’t actually look at or test anything. I will waste more of my time reporting this business and her license.

Even though it was a difficult visit, the compassion felt from Dr. Smith and the staff was much appreciated. I've found the perfect vet. Thank you. Once again, Decatur Veterinary Clinic gave me comfort with my 2nd love. Both times, my babies were given love when they crossed over the rainbow bridge due to cancer. They each gave me 15 years of love.

I recently moved to the area and so I do not have a vet for my dogs yet. When one of my dogs was bitten by a snake I was told by another local vet they couldn't see him because he was not an established patient. I called Decatur Vet and was told they would see him if I get there before they close. They took him back within about 5 minutes of arriving, and they were very busy. So grateful they worked him into their busy day!

Best thing I do for my dogs. This place is amazing and there in good and bad times.

I love Dr. Smith and Dr Harrison. They provide excellent and loving care for my dogs.

This place is fantastic never in my life have I ever seen a more caring, loving awesome staff, these people really care about your pet family member and take good care of them, today I lost my best buddy Rocco to cancer but these folks make sure he was comfortable they took good care of him while he was there and they were very comforting to me also so I will highly highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a veterinarian Clinic that really cares about your animals

The wait times can be tough, but these vets genuinely care about your animals. They're efficient ave highly skilled, but don't always try to upsell you on things you don't need.

Unfortunately, we have utilized the services here at the end stages of life for our beloved companions over the years. This is a time filled with emotions and often feelings of guilt, but Dr. Harrison and the wonderful and caring staff at Decatur Vet Clinic has always made those times as "easy" as possible. We are grateful to have found this veterinary clinic!!!

I wish I could adequately describe how absolutely wonderful everyone is at Decatur Veterinary Clinic. The front office are super friendly, personable, and superb at their job. The techs are knowledgeable, kind and loving. The doctors are exceptional, awesome, understanding and compassionate. They all took such great care of our dog and we are so grateful for all the love they poured into him. Our dog was at their clinic for 11 days and we did NOT have to set up a GoFundMe page because their prices are very reasonable. Thank you DVC for all that you do for all of our pets!

They are affordable and very helpful. I bring my goats here for anything they need.

I arrived at 8:10am and didn't leave until after one. The Doctor yelled at me for gripping in the parking lot. She also yelled at me for inquiring her tech. about medicine for my dog. My bill for two tests was $212. The when I tried to pay they ignored me at the desk. Very unprofessional!

They differently stay busy here.

They had my puppy over the weekend, he had Provo and hook worms..they were very polite and they helped my puppy get better! They are affordable. All weekend if cost us $375. Thank you guy's for making sure Guy was ok and for being so awesome!

Not very clean and the staff is not very friendly. Would not recommend.

First time visiting them. We took our kitten Tiggey and my small dog Reece in for their shots. They were very busy, but they took the time to answer all of my questions. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
