Shawna and her team were fantastic. They truly treated my dog like he was their own! They were responsible, reliable and professional at all times. Wouldn't recommend anyone else in the DFW area!

The team at YHPC are true pros and provide excellent service. They cared for our pet for an entire week while we were out of the country on holiday. They provided two walks per day and in-home overnight care. YHPC associates gave us timely and detailed recaps of every visit and lots of great pics. They made our time away extra relaxing because we were totally assured our pet was getting the best care in our absence. These folks are the best!

In February, 2021, I underwent ankle surgery followed by a long, difficult recovery. Because of this, I was unable to walk my precious 16 year old Shih Tzu, Patches. My “baby” boy is everything to me, so finding someone reliable to take him on walks in my place was a priority. A friend recommended YHPC to me, promising they’d be the answer to my prayers. Because she trusted them with her high needs dog, I was hopeful they’d be a perfect fit for Patches, too. When Angela came over for the initial meet and greet, I knew I hit the jackpot in no time at all. She was not only professional, attentive, and kind, but she also displayed an immediate connection with Patches. Angela’s interactions with Patches proved her genuine love for dogs and her understanding of needs unique to senior dogs. I immediately began using YHPC and have been nothing but extremely satisfied and happy with their services since. Whether it’s Angela, Kari, or Shawna coming to walk Patches, I know I can count on them. No matter what, they always show up with smiles on their faces and pep in their steps! Rain or shine, during Texas winter blasts too…these gals are simply the best in every way, and I’m grateful for the unconditional love and care they show my Patches, my everything, when caring for him in my place. They truly were, and still are, the answer to my prayers.

It was my first time using an in-home cat sitter, but she and her team are so reliable and professional that I've now already booked out my next couple of trips with them scheduled to come. I've used YHPC and Shawna several times over the past years, and have been pleased with the results. The cats take to her pretty well, and the service has been consistent.

We feel so grateful to have found YHPC. We have two tabbies that are very spoiled and don't like strangers. But, the cats loved Angela and Shawna and came right to them when they walked in. It is such a relief to know when we go out of town that they are taken care of and have trusting people in our house. Also its always Angela or Shawna which was a big relief and very important to us. The previous sitters before Angela and Shawna made our previous trip very stressful. They kept sending different people every time. Some of them didn't know how to work the alarm system and set it off twice, others didn't inform & up date us about their visits. We had a lot of anxiety about using Angela and Shawna but, we can tell you with certainty that they were great and very professional. We recommend them 100% . And don't plan on using anyone else.....the Charlies

For the past 2 1/2 years I have had YHPC watch Kitty while I'm out of town! I love the daily emails with pictures. Kitty LOVES Shawna and isn't mad at me when I get home from a long trip. She even watches Buddy (my friends cat who comes to stay with me when they go out of town) if our trips overlap. She will come to your home to meet you and your pet(s) and talk about what will happen during the visits, listen to any concerns you may have, answer questions and find out if there are any underlying health issues/dietary restricions they need to be aware of. For me, I also needed someone to water my plants on the patio while I was gone so this was a win win the first time I hired YHPC. I know I mentioned the daily emails with pictures, but everytime I'm away, I look forward to checking my inbox and reading the narrative (that is most certainly Kitty) of how she was greated at the door, or Kitty came running out of the bedroom. But I most enjoy the pictures she sends. She's quick to respond to emails and texts (my last trip was kind of convoluted because I didn't want her to have to come over on Thanksgiving, or I would have booked online). I emailed Shawna what I wanted and promptly reveived a confirmation and invoice for PayPal. When I got home, she had left Kitty some samples of things from her new online store. Kitty was in heaven when I started letting her try the new things. Buddy came over yesterday and he's loving the toys and treats as well. (I placed an order for the catnip filled toys last night for both of them. And when I run low on treats, I will start adding in some of the soft squeeze fish paste treats...she loooooves that stuff!) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YHPC!!! I found them by chance and am so glad I did! Look at their pictures on the Facebook page. You can see all the pets are happy and love them. That's what you want in a pet sitter. Someone who will take excellent care of your pets and keep them happy.

I started using Your Home Pet Care (YHPC) last year when we were traveling. They have saved our lives with the best of care for our cat. Not only do they come and feed your animal, they clean the litter box, stay and play with your animals, and bring in the mail and make sure all is good in your home while you are gone. And, most of all they love caring for your pets. YHPC, is a wonderful pet care company as well as pet sitting. We will continue to use them for pet care for all of our travels this year.

YHPC provides us such comfort when we are out of town. They have worked extensively with our problem dog who is afraid of people and we were able to leave her at home, as opposed to boarding her, the last time we were gone. Always on time, they also provide updates and pictures so you know your pets are being cared for.
