The staff is amazing. Laura was very helpful and accommodating for my 3 little chihuahuas on their 1st time being boarded. They had a great time and were in great hands by the loving staff... it's a very clean facility and you cam tell all the dogs are happy. Thanks so much for taking such good care or us ..... Facilities were clean and the layout of their establishment is well designed. But when I picked up my dogs, I saw that they both were not fed two of their meals in the duration of four days they were boarded with Urban Paws. I prepared an exact number of meals, each in airtight containers, labeled them, and gave direct feeding instructions to two separate staff members when dropping my dogs off. When I picked them up, I noticed their meals still in containers. I brought up the problem with the staff member I met when picking them up, but her idea of rectifying the situation was only an apology. When I leave my dogs at an establishment that provides professional dog care, and I am paying a higher premium for a higher quality of care, I expect them to provide what they advertise. Boarding my dogs at an establishment such as Urban Paws, I am entrusting them to take optimal care of my animals, keeping their health and well being at the forefront of their services. Not feeding the animals they "care for" instead reflects negligence throughout this business, both in their staff and in treatment of the animals.

Urban Paws was the first business I used to board my dog, and I have been coming ever since. Having a dog with separation anxiety always makes me nervous to leave her, but any time we go to Urban Paws she leaps to their employees with her tail wagging excitedly and is very relaxed and calm when I pick her up (due to a great play day with the employees/other dogs). They are incredible with animals, are very flexible to accommodate you when plans change/you need something last minute, and have business hours that will work with any schedule.

This place did not allow breeds or mixes of pit bull and I was forced to look elsewhere because of it, very poor business practice.

My dog was “not allowed” to go to Urban Paws boarding/daycare because she is a pitbull mix. This place discriminates against breeds without giving them a interview or chance to show they are sweet dogs. After emailing and calling, they claimed they discriminate for “insurance reasons.” Take your lovely rescue pups and all other pups elsewhere!

My kid loves boarding here, meaning I don't have to worry when I travel! She gets to bring her own bed and prescription food, too.

I dropped off two healthy dogs for boarder service i came back two weeks later to two underweight dogs with dry cough and one has severe diarrhea. I reached out to see if they noticed dogs weren't eating the only thing they could be sure was that they took them baths. Smh never again

My pups was as white as snow and happy as ever after an amazing bath at Urban Paws! Definitely recommend.

I am from out of town and I found a stray puppy right before they closed and the team at Urban Paws stayed late so that I could bring our new puppy there since my hotel did not allow pets. They took awesome care of her and let me keep her there until we went back home! Great team, great owners, awesome service!

Both my past and current dog (Chicken Nugget) have absolutely loved it here. Nugget is always so excited to go for daycare or boarding so I know that they take great care of him.

I took my chihuahua for wash and grooming... they drugged her! She was out for the next 2 days. DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE i guess they give relaxers to the dogs when the groom them without the owners concern but maybe no one noticed before, but they over did it with my dog because she is so small and we were able to notice. This place is horrible we could definitely sue for drugging our dog without consent!!!

My pup was enrolled in Debbie Ferrell's training classes. Debbie is a wonderful trainer. She was able to capture my hyperactive pup's attention and show me various techniques to train him. Debbie is also extremely invested in her clients and urges us to email her with any and all questions. She sends a variety of helpful advice plus YouTube videos to address any problems. I recommend Debbie 6/5 and would enroll her as a full-time trainer for my pup if I could afford it. Urban Paws itself is located in a sketchy part of Deep Ellum. I've had various bad experiences bringing my pup in for training sessions, such as large dogs loose in the lobby and staff yelling at boarded dogs. I probably wouldn't board my dog here--I'd go to my vet instead. But either way, I'd absolutely recommend enrolling in Debbie Ferrell's dog training courses.

My dogs and I love this place they get so excited when we turn on there street and the staff is very nice and helpful

Love the entire Urban Paw team! Every time we walk in, they greet our Frenchies Ollie and Molly who run as fast as they can inside. Our dogs know the phrase “Urban Paw” and wait by the door as soon as they hear it. Excellent service, impeccable staff, and our dogs are always satisfied. We’ve had issues with our dogs getting sick when returning from other overnight services but never from UP. Highly recommend.

Although I have not used Urban Paws working across the street Ive seen all the attention they give and how they play with the dogs. Ive actually spent my lunch just watching them play. Would tell anyone it was a great doggy daycare

I have taken my dog here 3 times on a recommendation and I can tell that he loves it. The staff is courteous and very pet focused. I remember calling to check up on my Marco and was told "he was sleeping on the couch" which is so totally him. I'm so glad to have been told about Urban paws. It has been a life saver and a good change of pace for my Marco.

Over priced & they gave my baby back to me covered in mud n dirt. But yet I paid $300.00!
