After having a horrible experience at an emergency clinic a little further north on 75, we rushed to this clinic and were immediately and thoroughly taken care of. Our experience was like night and day. I cannot praise enough those who took care of us tonight. I am completely confident in the care we are receiving. We chose to leave our pet there for 24 hours to be cared for and monitored. They will be updating us and we can call and visit any time. They want us to be right there with our pet!

I can't say enough wonderful things about the doctors, techs and assistants that treated my dog. They're kind, attentive, patient and knowledgeable. They were everything I needed in a stressful situation. We always hope that we won't need their care, but knowing they're there if we do offers me so much peace of mind. Thanks again to the whole group!

After reading one star ratings of the competition, I decided to call this place at the suggestion of another reviewer. This place is not after your money AT ALL. Now they aren’t cheap, but the cost of care is what’s expected of a place that has the overhead of operating 24/7 365. My Malinois had a nose bleed that just wouldn’t stop. After research, I assumed the worse and decided I needed to take him somewhere. After speaking with the absolute professional at the desk, get this, she got the doc on the phone right away. Upon speaking to the vet, she assured me a proper course of action, to observe, and not worry until there’s a reason to worry. I was FLOORED. She could have easily taken advantage of my position. She did the opposite. I’m sorry I forgot the vet’s name, but if anyone reads this, please understand these people are great and deserve your business. If my baby’s condition doesn’t improve in the next day, I’ll drive past multiple vets to give these professionals my business.

We had a mini panic attack thinking our dog swallowed a doggy potty bag. We quickly started calling almost every vet within a 20 mile radius… nobody could see us. However a vet that turned us away recommended we try VEG. I called and they advised us they were open for service. We quickly started to head that way. The team had sent me a text to expedite the check in process. When we got there, the staff was nothing short of amazing. They TRULY cared for my pup as if they had known her all along. They were swift with a medical game plan and were clear with communicating next steps. We also feel they were priced fair. I would like to specifically thank Vet Tech Erin and Dr. Jessica Perkins. They were so kind to us and our baby girl. They eased our stress and took care of us like we were family. Thank you! While I hope we don’t have another emergency, I have comfort in knowing where to go if we ever need to again.

I am in awe of this emergency clinic and do not have enough superlatives to express my appreciation for all that they did to treat my sick Corgi. Thank you to Dr. Pritchard for a timely and successful surgery and to Dr. DeVore for overseeing his recovery. I am incredibly grateful.

Dr. Parkinson was super knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Amanda was also amazing, she really put us and our sick puppy at ease. Everyone was wonderful, highly recommend this place (and especially those two).

We had an emergency over the weekend. VEG took fantastic care of my boy. I loved the fact that they let him stay with us most of the time and kept us very well informed. We were all much less stressed out because of this simple thing. They even followed up the next day to see how he was doing and asked if we had any questions. I would highly recommend VEG for anyone that is having an emergency situation with a pet.

The care of a dying patient that comes in should be first before finances! I wasn’t fully prepared for the amount i was going to have to pay to save my babies life but i was definitely going to find out how to pay it. I really wish things would’ve gone differently for me. Worst experience of my life. I hope that no one ever goes through what I went through. RIP my baby Smokey ???? I’m sorry we failed you

I am SO thankful this amazing emergency group is so close to our home! Unfortunately, we have had to visit them more times than we would like, but I wouldn't think of taking a pet anywhere else in Dallas. A few months ago our one year old puppy swallowed a pair of undergarments. VEG took care of our pup quickly and kindly and we were in and out in less than an hour. Most recently, I took in a stray dog that I quickly fell in love with. While searching for his forever home, he and my pup had an altercation. VEG, again, got us in immediately and tended to my dog's bite wounds. Words could never express my gratitude to Dr. Devore and LVT, Melissa, who spent so much time with us that night and helped counsel me through a very emotional time. Every single person at this group is immensely compassionate, to both animals and humans. They have the impossible job of handling high stress situations and extremely emotional pet parents and they execute with perfection. Thank you, VEG!

I cannot express enough gratitude for this office. Last night, my mother and I had to bring in our eldest family dog, Lily, to be put down. We'd tried finding other locations who could come to the house but as her situation began to rapidly deteriorate we knew we had to find a place that night. We've never been to a VEG clinic. But from the initial phone call to the receptionist who asked if she could give us a hug and squeezed tight as we were leaving, every single person who assisted us was professional, warm, and above all, compassionate. I genuinely cannot properly articulate how thankful I am for the Vet who patiently listened to my mother's anxieties and didn't judge and reassured her in every possible way that this was the right call for our Lily. The Vet tech and the ER vet who assisted with applying the catheter were also so sweet, asking us about her and encouraging us to think about happy memories. Obviously this was a terrible situation and we were miserable, but the folks in the office who helped us through the process made it bearable and, for lack of a better description, the best it could have gone. I didn't really pay a ton of attention to the rest of the office, we were in our own little room and I was admittedly distracted. But from what I did see, it was clean, efficiently run, welcoming, and open. They were following COVID guidelines and the pets who were being kept overnight or in holding seemed calm and happy. Judging just by how our experience with our technicians and vet went, I am fully confident any other experience- scary, mundane or otherwise, would be handled with utmost care and professionalism by this office. I'm considering this my new go-to emergency vet for my pets in the future, honestly.

The night crew were 10/10 with our kitty Luigi on Thursday night, December 2nd. Even late at night, from the call before we came in to the check out, everyone was energized, confident, and so caring to both humans and animals. The team and vet here comforted us and Luigi through a scary time. If we ever have another animal medical emergency, we will definitely come here again.

This place is probably the best you can expect for emergency pet care. They helped bandage an open wound on my pup, and then when my dog ripped out the sutures, we took her back and they redid the work. They charged me both times for the work, but that's fair since it wasn't their fault it came out. However, the second doctor didn't do as good a job as the first doctor. She put in way less sutures so the bandage was flopping around, not as many tie off points. I wish the original doctor had done the redo work, especially since they charged the same for it again. I think I'm being gracious taking only one star off for that, but I am still frustrated and left feeling indifferent about if I'd go back here.

Place deserves more reviews. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff, fast but thorough service, reasonable price.

I called after my pet had a vaccine and he got swollen. Rather than bring him in, they put a vet on the phone to discuss my pups symptoms and what steps to take to make him feel better. They were calm, warm, and personable but most importantly they gave me the care I needed immediately over the phone. Incredible.

Even though they were very busy at 5AM on a Sunday, they took time with every patient. The staff was very professional, but you could tell they really loved their jobs and/or animals. They treated the humans with the patients as true parents. They made every effort to let us stay with Kelly. And, as much as possible, let us hold her when they treated her. I also very much appreciated that they presented us with a price estimate every step of the way.

I can’t thank Dr. Gilson and Lauren enough for helping us. Not only did they make sure my dog was okay they helped calm my nerves and were just all around great.

I can not say enough great things about this place. If it wasn't for these amazing doctors, techs, staff etc. my dog would not be here. I went in on Monday for an Ultrasound of my dogs abdomen after my other vet would not see him. If I didn't advocate for my dog to be seen I would have never known about this place. My dog ended up having a life saving blood transfusion and splenectomy and Is home today! Sarah the manager brought her own dog in to draw his blood for my dog! How amazing is that!!! All the doctors are compassionate, caring, and talented and if it wasn't for them my dog would not be here today! Thank you so so much VEG we (and Blue) are forever indebted to you all. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. While they are very busy, they are very attentive, kind, and comforting. DR. Devore is an absolute sweetheart and is very knowledgeable in her profession. When I called in at 7 am, I was crying so much and freaking out . My Foster German Shepard puppy (with Good Shepherd Rescue of Texas) was vomiting, shaking, and barely coherent. She has ripped up and eaten some carpet as mischievous puppies do. They answered the phone calmly and promptly, they checked me in over the phone and saw her the second I walked in the door. I was there for a few hours , as they were very thorough. Dr. Devore Let me review the X-rays with her and went into detail about Everything we were looking at. Very friendly and caring staff . Very hard to find a veterinary clinic that is patient, understanding, accommodating, and diligent, especially in Dallas. My puppy is doing great after a few hours of being home thanks to the VEG TEAM! And big Thanks to Good Shepard Rescue of Texas for the support. Love the ladies here and will definitely be coming back, but hopefully won’t need to!

I took my kitten Misu on 12/15/2021 to be check but due to his injuries he had to be put down. Erik and the doctor that night made it feel safe and were supportive thru my whole experience of putting my poor baby down. Thank you a million times for taking care of my baby in his final moments and being supportive.

I just wanted to thank you all again & update you all on Princesses progress she’s doing wonderful & is back to normal I really appreciate what you did for her & me you saved my baby you guys are the best !!!

They were very fast in obtaining information and treating my dog, letting me stay with him the whole time. Dr. Gilson and Melissa were caring and professional, explaining things thoroughly. Everyone I encountered there was friendly and proficient. Definitely the best experience I've ever had at an emergency vet!

I can’t say enough great things about this place. Our Frenchbulldog torn his Dewclaw and was an extreme pain and anxious. They got us in as soon as we walked in the door after calling and letting them know we were on our way. Dr. Chantel Simmons made this efficient and painless as possible. We were in and out in minutes and they took extremely good care of us. Very friendly and caring. They even called our normal vet to let them know that he had been seen over the weekend. I hope we never end up here for anything else but I would highly recommend.

Of course it’s never a pleasant experience having your beloved pet at an emergency hospital, but the people here at VEG go a long way toward making it hurt as little as possible. Starting with Katie the fantastic receptionist all the way thru the vet techs and the doctors, both my puppies (Hank one time and Jagger the next) and I were treated with compassion and kindness every minute. I can’t imagine going anywhere else if I need to again.

Took my dog in, he was feeling really sick (I'll save you the details) he was seen promptly and was made comfortable. He was treated as if he was their loved pet, in fact all the animals there were being treated as if they were their pets, spoken to with love and comforted with love. Very impressed with the practice!

I’ve never had a better experience at a vet, let alone an emergency vet before. The entire staff were beyond incredible and compassionate. The doctor sat on the floor with me and my dog and she even had tears in her eyes about what happened (he got hit by a car). They set up a whole room for me and Copper to stay in overnight so I didn’t have to leave him. Everyone took such good care of him and we got to go home the next day. I wish we could go to VEG for all vet visits, but so grateful they exist for emergencies. Y’all are the best.

i took my pup, Ollie, here on sunday (Halloween) with some severe tummy problems. it’s always nerve wracking taking him to the vet since he’s a rescue pittie with fear aggression, but all of the staff were totally understanding and knew just how to treat him so that he felt as comfortable as possible. i’m so glad we were able to take him here. thank you so much Ash and Dr.Simmons, y’all are awesome!!

I would like to thank very one for a comfortable and loving experience on Saturday night early Sunday morning when I brought Mama into your care. You made me feel comfortable when you took her to the back even though I wasn't able to go with her due to an issue with another patient. The medication is working great, she had no taking the meloxican (the same one that I take????) but, she turned in to cujo when it came to taking clavamox. Huge fight showing all teeth and snapping but I was able to get her to take it. Thank you all once again❤

The staff is amazing. My daughters cat was sick and she took her there hysterical. I left Houston and called them on the way there and said please don’t let her leave that way. They said they never would and she could stay with Aurora as long as she liked. They brought snacks and made a pallet on a floor in a room. I got there at 5:30 am and I spent the next 2 nights there cuddling with Aurora. Hannah was absolutely amazing with my daughter and gave her the most precious letter with her phone number so they can stay in touch. I can’t say enough about them and will never forget their love.

Such humane and compassionate care for both pets and humans. Like many of the other reviews, called other places with hours of wait, and we had an initial assessment right upon arrival and soon after Dr. checked our Dug. We were kept in the loop the whole time, and most importantly we were able to be with our Dug the whole time. Thank you!!!
