This place offers affordable care and they are conveniently next to Petco so I can get supplies before or after my vet visit. The staff is really friendly and knowledgeable. I found it to be really clean in there as well. I will definitely be back.

The Vet did their job, but vet tech was rude. Spoke to me like I was beneath him. After I dropped 1k on my pets care, the tech said to me that i should do my part, among other things. Things that a company that wants my repeat business shouldn't say. I won't be going back.

They are reasonable and very nice. They have curbside right now for Covid. My little puppy had an allergic reaction and they worked her in immediately on a busy Sunday. By the time we went and picked her up she was back to normal!

I called up because my puppy had eaten a dead bird on our walk so I wanted to know what to do or how worried I should be and they told me that I should bring her in right away so they could make her throw up but when I told them I didn’t have the money to do that and asked if they could just tell me how to get her to throw up they wouldn’t tell me and said I shouldn’t resort to that yet even though they told me to bring her in right away so they could do just that It’s clear they don’t care about they’re costumers pets unless you go and drop a couple hundred first Side note: I called PET VET ANIMAL HOSPITAL right after I got off the phone with vetco and they told me to give my dog some hydrogen peroxide so she would throw up and now my puppy is healthy and fine

I was absolutely thrilled with the level of service and transparency by Dr. Michael McCradic that I've chosen to make him my primary vet. I had chosen to bring my cat here for a second opinion from City Vet.

I had a really great experience here! I am a new dog owner, and brought my dog in for a health exam. Kody was very nice and great with my dog, even when my dog was being a bit defensive towards him! He was able to let me know exactly which vaccines and preventative measures my dog needed. Dr. Mackratic (not sure if that’s how you spell it) did my dogs exam, and he was awesome as well! I felt as if my questions were thoroughly answered, and to no rush at all! I left feeling much more comfortable with being a new pet owner. They even called the next day to see how my dog was doing after his vaccines! Thanks PetVet!

Just called early when they first opened. Young tech that answered the phone sounded like he had an attitude right when he picked up. Its 8 am its too early for all that. Definitely made me uncomfortable to bring my pet in during a stressful time.

We had a great experience at The Pet Vet yesterday with our 10 week goldendoodle Jasper. Needed a last minute appointment and they had Saturday availability and high ratings. They gave him his second round booster vaccines and was very gentle, caring and playful with him to make him comfortable. The doctor answer all of my questions and our kid's questions with patience. The fee was low but the quality of service was not and we will be a returning customer.

So... we booked our cat’s appointment online per the advertised “healthy cat/kitten” package. When we got here, they told us that this price only applies to the VetCo mobile so we ended up paying nearly twice what we had anticipated. Worst part is that when they called to confirm the appointment I made sure we were getting the $69 advertised package and they said yes. The 1 star that it makes you give is for the tech. She sounded genuinely sorry but it doesn’t excuse the fact that we were extremely misled. Very disappointed and will not be returning.

The staff here was great. I have a giant 145 lbs Alaskan Malamute who is big baby and doesn't like being out of my sight. These folk music were able to calm him down to get some samples from him and didn't force him into any situation that made me too uncomfortable.

Same day appointment even on a holiday weekend. The entire staff were excellent. Morgan was phenomenal with my puppy and put the experience way over the top.

Wat a great place to bring your pet. The doctor and the nurses where amazing. Great prices, and the care for my puppy was the best he ever had. If you love your pet this is the place to go... Thank you guys

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I have had a great experience every time I go. Their pricing is reasonable. My pet don't mind going and they love the staff. They are super sweet with all my pet which is something that I love.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER I made an appointment at “the pet vet” to have a regular health check on my french bulldog. I fully disclosed with the vet tech that I was there to have him checked and confirm that he was healthy and also up to date on his vaccinations for an upcoming flight. I informed the vet tech that I had to have a form signed by the vet and that was the SOLE reason for this visit. I did not have the form with me at the time of the visit so the vet tech ASSURED me that I could email the form in and have it emailed back no problem. I thanked her and paid for the service. I then email the document a couple days later with no response. I call multiple times only to be asked to email it AGAIN MULTIPLE TIMES. After the third time of emailing I am finally told the manager will contact me the following day. I was never contacted. I call and finally get to speak with someone who apologizes for the confusion and said that I will have to come in again for another visit for the vet to check my dog more thoroughly??? I inform this woman that my dog was already checked and perfectly healthy. That I was just waiting for the vet to sign my form. She further explains that I was misinformed and would not be getting what I paid for that I would have to come back in for another visit and pay $55 plus $15 if I wanted to vet to sign my form. That my dog (that was already deemed perfectly healthy by the exact same vet) would need to be examined more thoroughly to be deemed healthy AGAIN. Total Scam. Will only tell you was you want to get your money. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

Not sure about the recent reviews about their experiences with this Pet Vet but I had nothing but a great experience! I had no issues with scheduling an appointment, I had no wait time, spoke with the vet which he was just absolutely fantastic and so glad I spoke with him. I was told by someone else that my dog had an issue going on (which I didn't think so) and when speaking with the vet he also confirmed my thoughts and didn't put him on a treatment plan that would have been expensive! He was very thorough and took his time with my dog and answering my questions and concerns. Highly recommend Pet Vet!

Not bringing my pet dog to this place! Apparently, they cant even take a proper appointment- I was in there this past weekend and the lady at the front desk took my name, pets name and phone number to set an appointment for today- consult and full exam $55. She even mentioned she's not sure that a vet would be available on the weekend and that she would call me to confirm the day before. Did not receive a call. I called this morning on the day of the appointment to make sure a vet was working and they told me yes...but for some odd reason there is no appointment under my name/ pets name. This is ridiculous! You cant even schedule an appointment properly- what makes you think I'm trusting and putting my dog in your hands. In a way I'm glad this happened- I was going to be a new customer but now I know that I should take my dog to be looked at and cared for by real professionals. Thank you!

Never really gave a clear understanding of my bill. When I called and asked about their $15 office visit they told me it was only going to be $15, maybe a little more if I get anything else. Well I walked out with an antibiotic cream, and a $250 bill for a 20 minute appointment.

My pet was extremely sick and the staff took great care of her. She is very aggressive and isn’t fond of new people however, they expressed concern and love like she was their own pet. Great place of service.

Friendly knowledgeable staff. I was Happy to find a place that offers tietering at a reasonable price! They seem to care about your pet. And do not appear to look for reasons to order additional tests or procedures. I was very happy they were able to get a vitamin d test done for me at a competitive price as well. The only reason I did not rate 5 star is there was a appointment mix up but they did recover nicely and still worked me in when they accidentally did not put my appointment in their schedule. I will definitely use them again!

This place literally is the worst, they pushed us into getting the heart worm thing and we didn’t even need it. We Asked multiple times for the vaccines but they were ready to push us out and just charge us for that and a flea medication which did nothing for my dog. The same night at around 10 he had a severe allergic reaction and I waited a couple hours to see if it went down, his face was extremely swollen and everything down to his private’s were red and he was COVERED in hives. We made it out of the office close to closing time and nobody told us anything about the possibilities of a reaction or what to do in the event of one. So around 1 am we rushed him to the er where they told us that the vaccines caused the reaction and they gave him a flea medication that actually worked. I emailed them soon after leaving the hospital and sent them pictures of him in agony and a receipt that showed how much it cost which was literally the same as what we spent here $140, so we spent double. In the morning the manager Julie called and we called and spoke to some employee either Maria or Mary and she admitted it was the rabies vaccine that caused the reaction and she had an attitude and exposing the company for the reason why he had the reaction. Later we spoke to Julie and rather than accommodate she hid behind the fine print on the receipt which proved nothing but negligence. They said because we took that risk they could do nothing to help and would’ve charged us to help him regardless if we had gone back.

I will never use these people again they are completely disorganized I had to make 5 phone calls to order heart worm meds I even had to wait on a conference call to make sure it was done. Then 5 month after my last exam I started getting notices that my dog needed another exam I called they said I could just bring a fecal sample so I drove from Kaufman tx with it and they told me he had to have a full exam a few d I needed to wait 0a hour

The staff at The Pet Vet are amazingly compassionate and knowledgeable. Don't let the fact that they are open on Sunday make you think they are as expensive as the animal ER, they are not. Normal prices, accessible hours, and an amazing staff. You can visit the pet store right after for treats or toys so they associate the vet with something more fun. On a personal note they helped me make a difficult decision by properly educating me on my options. They were compassionate during the entire process and even reached out after the fact with a kind hand written card.
