Summertree Animal & Bird Clinic Dallas, Texas

Everyone was kind and loved on our dog and listened to our issue and offered suggestions on our next step in finding the right treatment for Tex.

Staff was awesome and compassionate. They were professional and friendly. We came in with a sick Guinea Pig and they were quick to respond and treat our critter. They followed up a couple of days later to see how he was doing. They treated us as if we were there with our sick best friend not just a little GP. I will go to them again for all of our pets needs. Good job guys!!!

I've been going to them for about 3 years and they have been nothing but amazing. Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming and they seem like they really care about your pets. I highly recommend especially for exotic pets. I have hedgehogs so I was nervous about finding a good vet for them. But I don't see myself going anywhere else when it comes to their care. (:

Awesome clinic for birds!! I called at 9:00am, had an appointment set for 10:30am. The staff is friendly and professional. Rio was seen immediately by the Dr. The Dr. was very knowledgable and friendly. This place sees all kinds of animals

Normal "maintenance" visit. Been using this firm for my Pionus for the last 28+ years. Quality still there. Short and sweet visit. Recommend highly!

I don't know what I can say about this clinic that will represent how truly amazing they are. We had a baby bearded dragon that was not doing well. We brought him in and Dr. Finneburgh and her team were absolutely amazing. They treated him and are extremely knowledgeable in exotics. Unfortunately, after weeks of hand feeding him, Herbie passed away. I sent an email letting her team know and thanked them for what they did and their care. A few days later we received a beautiful card in the mail from them. They truly are a special team and I will 100x recommend them to any and everyone. ❤

They were extremely fast to respond and knowledgeable about what I needed to do to make sure that my rabbit was healthy and happy! Great customer service skills and they even called the next day to check and see how my rabbit was doing after his surgery. You can tell that they truly care about their patients!

They were great with my animal. Very interactive and helped me with any questions. Their treatment started in two days. I will nsevertKrmy animals anywhere else!!!!

I have taken my Amazon Parrot to Summertree for over 30 years. They are very knowledgeable and take excellent care of her, and everyone is so kind and friendly. Thank you, Summertree!!

This is a vet’s office that accepts chickens as patients and they’ve always helped us help out our ladies.

Dr Wilson and her tech were so kind and extremely knowledgeable and handled my new bunny cinnamon so well. As a first time bunny owner , they were so patient and took the time to answer all my questions and I did not feel rushed. Love this place.

It was easy to get an appointment. Y’all will see my chickens! Which it’s hard to find anyone I. Dallas that will see them. And everyone there is really nice.

Dr Nasser and all the staff were wonderful. They were so deft at handling my very angry ancient parrot. I don’t live close the the Vet hospital and when he required antibiotics to treat his infection , Katherine was kind enough to drop them off on her way home so he could start his treatment immediately as I couldn’t get back to the clinic today. I would recommend these folks to anyone. ????

The staff is very caring and knowledgeable about our family/pets. They not only gave attention to my ferret they helped make sure I was not nervous. They also have amazing follow ups.

I was extremely nervous upon arrival, my snake is literally my baby/pride & joy lol. But that nervousness melted away quickly the second I went into the exam room! The vet asst and veterinarian I got to work with were AWESOME! Thankyou so much! I will be back and won't hesitate to send other reptile owning friends to you guys!

My pet became sick suddenly one morning and I was able to get an appt right away. This was my first experience with Summertree and was impressed by everyone. We’ve had to come back a few times for re-checks and each appt we’ve gotten to work with some amazing staff. Janna and Tia at the front desk have been super nice, very patient with me and welcoming to us. Rebeka and Sharonda are easy to work with, very nice and have been wonderful while handling my pet. My pet’s doctor is Dr. Laura Brazelton. She was quick to come into the room and exam my pet and when I had to leave my pet at the office so test could be ran, Dr. Brazelton, herself called to give me an update. Everyone at this office that I’ve had the pleasure of working with have been very compassionate as well and again very patient with me, which I am so thankful for.

I took my snake here for the first time this week, 11 year old ball python, very sick. They were able to see her as soon as available, they provided emergency referrals if I needed. They were very friendly on the phone. At her appointment, every staff member was very friendly and there were many, which means very good attention! I like that they have so many staff that love the animals and are ready to help :) I understand it’s hard to find a veterinarian to care for reptiles but this place is 100% knowledgeable! I’m not sure how many vets they have but the lady I saw is very well established with reptile care. She made me feel hopeful for my snake. They were comfortable and confident with her even though she was agitated and ill. They answered every questions I had plus some. Every time I call they answer right away. They sent me and my snake home with a regimen that I think is very helpful. I will absolutely come back here Their prices are very very reasonable!!

They have done such a great job with my Tortoise now I bring both my dogs to them. 100% only place ill be taking my pets to.

I have brought my parakeets to Summertree for many years. Vets are extremely knowledgeable and experienced with parakeets. Staff is great. They're wonderful and caring.

The Doc was great! She correctly diagnosed my dog’s ailment, had the meds on site, and gave me information about various dog food. The vet tech was very knowledgeable and gentle. Awesome clinic!

I called for an emergency visit for my duck and was seen as a new patient within the hour of my call. Thank you for taking care of my duck like he was your own! Customer service shown towards me was excellent and I will definitely return!

This was my first visit, and they took care of Paco very well. I will be returning for my vet needs in the future.

Dr Kurfman was wonderful, very Thorough exam and very creative and treating my bird. My bird is so much better and thank you so much Dr. Kurfman and Summertree Vet clinic.

We loved Summertree for our 2 bunnies! So glad we found them to help take care of the newest members of our family!

UPDATE: This was my third visit to Summertree and Dr. Curfman is, as always, an amazing resource of information on my hamster, Valentino. She is so kind and helpful with his care. The tech this time was the best tech I have encountered here or at any other animal clinic. Her name is Anna and she was more than concerned about my hamster and very detailed in her instructions after the appointment. WOW. I wish all vet tech were as helpful and genuinely concerned about pets as Anna. She is an asset to the clinic and I wish she was the vet tech every time I go there.

Everyone was so friendly and they helped to keep my worry at a minimum. They got me in so quick, I called that morning to have my bird looked at. Just a very friendly and welcoming place
