Happy Tails Doggie Daycare and Pet Lodge Dallas, Texas

I got a chance to observe behind the scenes operations and it's people...Let me just say this; these people take the care of their animals seriously. All dogs are loved on and cared for with the utmost respect. There is even one precious dog that they rescued from a gas station during the ice storm this past February 2021. This is not even an animal shelter but they keep this precious dog for the sake of human kindness and love. They also have another blind dog that was left behind by an owner some time ago and this is now one of their house dogs. They have a sign out front for one of the dogs that needs adoption. Because the majority of the traffic that they have are already pet owners this dog still needs adoption. If you know someone who wants to adopt a dog give them a call. Happy tails is definitely a hidden gem of Dallas Texas and I'm glad to have found out about it!

We’ve been taking our Hattie girl to Happy Tails for almost 8 years now! We have even moved to north Richardson and still drop her there for boarding! Even though the hours are scattered — you can always reach someone via text! Hattie always has the best time and can’t wait to go in and play with all her friends! Their groomer does a great job as well! The staff communicates well and has always been friendly! Most of them have worked there for a long time!!

Maybe you guys should check on your workers, and how they are speaking online. A Lady thinks it is totally okay to smoke and drink, and asking strangers online for money, when she can't even afford rent or to take care of their 3!!! Children. Never would bring my dogs to a place with people like her.

Very professional and caring staff

We were evacuating from Hurricane Laura and needed a place we could kennel our 3 dogs, or at least have a place they could play during the day. I saw the number to text from their website and sent a text explaining our situation a few hours before we were going to leave. Within an hour Beverly called me and could not have been nicer and was so accommodating trying to help us out. Brought the dogs in the next morning and everyone from the front desk to the trainers were incredibly nice and helpful. Didn't end up kenneling overnight, but the dogs did doggie day care for three days. They absolutely LOVED it! On day 2 when when we pulled into the parking lot the dogs knew exactly where we were and you could tell how excited they were. I can't thank everyone at Happy Tails enough for helping to ease our burden last week. We normally kennel our dogs at home when we come to Dallas but its really nice to know we have a great place to bring them now when we come into town. Thank you again!

They take such good care of our dog when we board him there. He loves to go, and they love to see him.

I’ve been going to happy tails for close to 14 years with all my dogs. Greet place. Very friendly and I have never had a problem in all my 13 years. They come home in good health and tired after daycare. They do a great job in caring for their furry guests. Finally, the most telling fact at how good the place is when we first pull up my dogs go nuts and are so excited/happy and can’t wait to go in.

Everyone here is so good to my Moose! We can't even say, "Daycare" at home or he runs to the door of the garage ready to go. Definitely recommend!

They really care about your dog! The place is clean & they take the time to learn what your dog is comfortable with.

Great pricing and service. The staff knows my dog by name and she is always excited to go to daycare. They have indoor and outdoor areas and separate the dogs by size so they rarely have any behavior issues.

I have left several voicemails and called 4 times now and no one ever picks up/returns my calls.

I have been a client and employee at this excellent facility. It is fantastic. It is kept spotless. All dogs are loved on and put in appropriate social play groups if they are active. Elderly dogs are given quiet places to sleep and rest. Safety protocol is paramount. There are safeguards for everything. The owner is meticulous about care, feeding, giving supplements and meds, and all staff trained to be observant of any problems. I have been in every room In this facility and it is clean and set up for the comfort of the dog. They have an extensive base of repeat customers that have come for years and years. The best in town. Truly!

I love the attention that the staff gives the dogs!My Merlin loves going for daycare and the occasional overnight stays.They are always quick to respond and know my dog by his name.I feel very comfortable taking my sweet fur baby to Happy Tails...we are customers for years to come!

Excellent grooming service! Highly recommend. Very friendly staff. When our dog groomers closed their business I was concerned about finding a groomer who would not traumatize him. We had some bad experiences with groomers in the past. Pepper loves it here! I’m so happy to have found this place.

The best boarding facility in Dallas!

Nice and friendly service. Our dog is exhausted after being there so she must be getting lots of play time. Update: We want her exhausted, she needs lots of activity.

Poor customer service. I reached out about boarding. Their rep said their policy doesn't allow them to accept Staffordshire breeds. I asked for a little more information on their policy, and never heard back. In the interest of transparency, I'd urge them to note this "policy" on their website.

Takes great care of your pet. Grooming is done well.
