The company forces their "pet's wellness" plan on you which offers a discounted rate on services, but I'm not sure it's worth it. After working with this vet for over a year they still cannot get their billing right and accost their customers for not paying the monthly due. I've provided my payment information to this company monthly yet they failed to process the payment; they linked other customer's credit cards to my account and charged my dues to another individual. The vet seems to be okay, but they cannot get their bookkeeping right.

I took my dog journey to be bathed today and I was told it was $35 for a fall special and a brush was going to be included. When I got there to pick him up he was soaking wet I explain to them that if you brush him while he’s wet but don’t dry him he will Matt up because of his undercoat. They looked at me dumbfounded and charge me $45 I asked to speak to a manager or the owner they told me they were not allowed to give out any information. I expressed that I was not happy with their service I had always been happy previous to that but I was told there are no groomers there on Saturday so that was the best they could do. I hate leaving negative reviews but paying $45 for a dog to get wet could’ve done that myself I am not happy and I would like my money back I don’t know who to call since they don’t tell me the managers name or anything. Very bad customer service this time. Thank you for the credit I’m glad we resolved it because I do like bringing Journey to your place.

After living for a while with “Satan’s Vet Clinic” in Austin, this was the best find for my dogs! They actually don’t act like they just filled out an application just because they needed somebody - so they took just anybody. Plus, they speak in complete sentences, and generally have a good idea of whatever we’re dealing with!

Will def bring my furr baby back here when I am in town for work! They are very attentive to special needs for certain animals (mine has seperation & social anxiety really bad) Very reasonable pricing, and excellent customer service. Will highly recommend to all! Great facility! They do rotations all day to battle the Texas heat but they also have indoor playrooms, so the fun can keep going when it gets too hot outside!

The staff here is wonderful. We met with the medical director Dr.Jason and Lawrence his assistant. They are very understanding and very helpful. Dr. Lawrence is great and we highly recommend them to any dogs owner. ????❤️ Tell them Ced And Paige Sent You

The customer service and the grooming work is inconsistent. The staff seemed to be unapologetic or proactive about fixing the bad experience I had. The pricing seems to vary each time as well. Taking my business elsewhere.

In short: Exceeded expectations on my first visit to boarding my dog. When I entered, my Doberman (not me) was greeted by name. What a fantastic way to start a relationship! How do they cater to Beau? Other place ask about how much to feed and how often. Not here! Here they ask when. By dog is fed a morning meal and a noon meal. Here the home schedule is followed; not what's convenient for the staff. Liked the daily pictures (with the dog's names attached) posted on line. I called twice to ask about how well he acclimated to the facility; rather than a perfunctory "oh he's doing fine" the staff went and got real answers. This place is out of the way for me but so what? The way they care about my fur baby the drive is unimportant. PS. I hate leave my dog ANYWHERE but I will again use this facility.

Had our dog booked for boarding. They call us the day prior to our trip to tell us they can't take our dog for boarding. This is after multiple touchpoints in the prior week. Completely unprofessional.

The staff is fantastic, so kind and they all have such big hearts, if your looking for a positive an healthy experience for your pet, you most definitely need to come here, they are responsible on prices and work with you also.

My experience here was mixed. I thought it was going to be awesome because the concierge who answered questions was charming. However, she was somewhat misinformed when it came to pricing, which was priced above and beyond any other clinic I have been to in the last 20 years. And, I've lived in some very pretentious cities. I feel like I got the old stick it to him he will do anything for his babies price quote. I'll wrap with I scheduled the low cost vaccines for the coming weekend and had 2 sets of shots and a much more relaxed and thorough visit which included treats for both of my kids for less than I paid for just one office visit. I left without a service or shot being administered when I had scheduled both shots and full grooming of both. But I only had $500 and that wasn't going to cover all of the costs. I spend a lot of money on my animals and I see that they get the best of care. I'm still shaking my head over the invoice I was presented prior to my saying thanks but no thanks. Its a very clean and nice set-up. The front desk service was impeccable.

This place was highly recommended to me by a friend and this is only my second time bringing my dog there for grooming but they do an excellent job and it’s pretty quick too so my dogs not sitting there all day. Thank you

I live right near by, and the first visit was absolutely incredible for grooming. I have a lahso apso poodle mix, named Nala, who is 15 pounds and has short hair. They did a wonderful job with her. The front office was great, and so kind. But on my second visit, I’m happy with the cut, but I’m checking out and they charge me 20 dollars more than my last visit. My first visit I paid 56 (inc tax) dollars, and this one the front desk attendant had to go back and ask the groomer what she should be charging because they got a new system and when I heard him yell 70 I couldn’t believe it. It came to 78.26 total (I had bought my dog a 2.25 treat, bringing grooming plus tax to 76) Why am I not being charged the same on every visit? Why is it up to the whim of the groomer on the spot? Never have I paid more than 55 for my small dog to get groomed. If this is how it’s going to be every time, where the price just changes and you never know what you are going to pay, then I’m going to have to go somewhere else. Almost 80 dollars to get a small short hair dog groomed? Insane. When I asked the front desk woman (who was incredibly sweet) why there was a difference she couldn’t give me an answer, and said the groomer could have run into Issues while grooming. I knew this couldn’t be true as my dog loves getting groomed and bathed. I also brush her hair every few days and she loves it. My dogs hair doesn’t mat. Never in the 9 years that I’ve had her has she had issues while grooming. This place just needs to get a better business model so that each customer knows it’s going to be the same cost every time, unless they CALL and tell you they ran into issues and there are additional costs. But 20 dollar differences from visit to visit is just unacceptable.

How do I give 10 stars? I have had a rough few days and a rough night bc my 10yr old dog, Bella has been sick. Listen, some but not all try to DIY remedies at home to care for your fur baby. I was up all night last night calling vets to book an ER appt. I had zero luck but I came across an online vet support website and they directed me to Uptown Dog for an ER appt at 10am that morning. I booked it right away. I arrived and I called before exiting my car bc there is protocol to follow during COVID-19 pandemic. Katie (vet tech) greeted me right away and took sweet Bella in to see the Vet. Not too long after waiting in my car I received a call from Dr. Timmermans and she explained that Bella needed blood work to get a diagnosis of what is causing her discomfort and sickness. Same day blood work with results! Dr. Timmermans called me back ( it was a wait but it’s understandable and I didn’t mind ) and gave me a full explanation of what Bella went through at her first ER visit and what is causing her issue. She answered all my questions and had such pleasant phone etiquette. She didn’t make me feel like my dog was just another dog to be treated. She called her sweet Bella and said she is a good girl. Warms my heart. Katie brought Bella back to me and even stayed with me to answer more questions I had and was so patient with me! I’m so thankful and I am so happy Bella was in good hands on short notice! I’m sure I’ll be switching vets in no time. Thank you Uptown Dog for taking care of my sweet Bella. Prices are average. Spend the money and get your baby taken care of.

I gave them multiple chances to win me over, and final straw was today when they called once again to cancel on me for my dogs grooming. This has happened before. When they canceled they said I had to wait another week because everything is already booked for the week, so I got screwed and have to wait for the next opening. Last time I took my dog in for grooming I picked him up and all they did was trim around his paws and eyes and charged me $50. They said he was too sensitive to the brushing so they didn't want to go further. This is BS, my dog has never had an issue with a grooming. I will take my business elsewhere and I advise others to thing long and hard before using Uptown Dog.

We use Uptown Dog and would recommend them to anyone else in the area. Both locations are always clean, staff is always friendly, and most importantly, our dog loves going there. Uptown dog offers a great variety of services including daycare, vet, and grooming, as well as food and toys in the front. This is pretty much our one stop shop for everything we need need that is dog-related.

Uptown Dog has been taking care of my ten pound shih poo for three years. They started as our dog walkers and we love them so much we trust them with boarding and grooming him as well. They are responsive with schedule changes and always go above and beyond. Highly recommend!

Best place in down town Dállas. My dog loves it and is always so exhausted from his amazing play date with his best puppies friend. Loki always gets so excited once he knows where he is and comes home clean. We love the indoor play date and love that he is just as clean as we left him. Thank you Dog City for making this place a happy place for Loki to make all the wonderful memories.

This is for the dog walking service. Unfortunately i've had issues with my last week of services i had scheduled with them. Apparently one of my dogs would not cooperate and did not want to be walked by the providers here, yet no one at this company reach out to me at all during my trip to let me know of this issue. Instead they let us find out when we returned on our trip. I know they have daily notes - but this isn't as easy to check on a daily basis when i am on a trip. If there were concerns such as this - why wouldn't they call the owners to let them know? My dog was left unwalked quite a few times and they had let me know because he was scared? There was quite a few messes found in my bedroom and living room that were left unattended. When i asked about the mess - they said it must have been just recent since they do clean up. I could tell it was NOT recent as there were things that hardened up and was days old. I also noticed one of my dogs had a cut and his eye was bleeding almost as he was choked/hit. When i spoke to someone via email and over the phone - they were just dismissive. Not once were they sincere or ever tried to sound empathetic towards the situation. I would never recommend ANYONE to trust this company to walk your dogs.

Uptown Dog provides some of the best dog walking and daycare services in Dallas. They truly have a passion for what they do and always take care of my dog like its one of their own. They are always flexible when it comes to last minute changes and I so appreciate that! Highly recommend!
