Took my Reagan for refills on meds that she'll probably have to be on for the rest of her life. The place is small but the vet takes his time and listens and has tons of information and I would definitely recommend this place for anyone needing their pet to be seen.

Honest, compassionate, and affordable clinic. You can tell Dr. Wood is in the business out of love for animals. Had some trouble in the past finding a vet who would treat my cat (shows aggression at the vet), and was pleasantly surprised by how Dr. Woods was able to give him the treatment he needs without any sort of sedation. Definitely found my new vet.

Just called this vet to book an appointment for my dog and I got the worse service EVER . Extremely unprofessional male who picked up the phone , I will never go this place. Please retrain your employee.

I was so worried for my dog's health the staff make me feel like we choose the right place, few hours later got medicine for my dog when home same day.

I been coming to see Dr. Wood for years now for check ups on my dog and cats. He has also neutered and spayed my cats, and was extremely informative. Prices are reasonable for the service, you won’t regret taking your fur babies here.

They’re very reasonable on their prices and they care about my dogs well being.

Love the ezy environment and one doesn't have to wait list ng to get an appointment.

I love Mission Vet. Dr. Wood and his assistant Maria do a great job. I agree with the review that describes it as a good old fashion vet. I’ve always been happy with the care of my dog has gotten, true concern for your animal and offered at a fair price. I highly recommend them!

Dallas’ best kept secret. Dr Wood is amazing and has always been so accommodating in the care of my dog. He has earned a customer for as long as he has a practice.

We came in today with our senior pittie who has a tumor growing near the base of her tail. Dr. Wood took a look at her and sat down with us for almost half an hour explaining what he saw, his professional opinion, what surgery would look like (everything from how the procedure would work to recovery), and even gave us a quote (for an EXTREMELY reasonable price, far more affordable that what we'd seen for a surgery). He communicated the seriousness of her condition with such compassion, it really enabled us to focus on how to best treat our dog rather than just fear for the worst. I'm so thankful that we made the decision to get a second opinion from him, because now we have a gameplan in place for Sadie. I would absolutely recommend this clinic for anyone looking for quality, affordable care from a compassionate veterinarian.

At first I thought this place was pretty good. Until my kitten got ringworm. I went in and he charged me $90 for the visit plus a tiny container of a topical medication that did not work at all. He didn’t even do a culture to confirm either. Then, he said if the topical didn’t work in a week we would try something more aggressive. A week later, his condition only worsened. I called Dr. Wood and told him this, and he said he doesn’t have any other aggressive meds so I’ll have to go make an appointment at some other place. I don’t think he was trying to be rude on the phone, but it really just rubbed me the wrong way. Why didn’t he tell me in the first place that he is unable to adequately treat ringworm? He wasted my money and time, and if he had told me in the first place, this would have been treated sooner and for less money. And now I have ringworm too. Maybe he is great for simple things like vaccinations, and maybe fixing. But if you have a pesky issue like ringworm, I STRONGLY suggest you go somewhere else.

I have taken my cats and some of the ones I rescue to this clinic since I moved to Dallas. They are really great. They are not over priced and they didn’t try to upsell unnecessary tests, meds or procedures. I’m really happy I found them.

Omg, super friendly! We recently got a new puppy from Killeen and didn't know where to go for his first checkup. I looked up locations nearby and this place had wonderful reviews. We felt welcomed as soon as we walked in. I would def recommend. :)
