I was sent here by the humane society. The wait was little to none. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Great. Al the staff is knowledgeable and kind. Our dog typically react negatively going into any vet's office, but for some reason, she walks right in without pulling back.

I took my dog in for a dental, dropped him off around 9:00am and picked him up at 2:30. I had blood work performed on him pre op, everything turned out fine. The staff there are all accommodating, professional, and knowledgeable. Dr Carroll is GREAT.

They were very understand and consoling when I had to let my Kikyo go to the rainbow bridge. They made it a little bit easier at the time.

Dr. Mitchell was amazing! So personable, very friendly and east to talk to. She was so sweet to my best girl Mercy and I could feel that she truly loves animals which immediately put me at ease. Love this place!

Dr. Mitchell is fantastic! She's extremely informative and listens to your concerns rather than brushing you off. While we prefer Dr. Mitchell, Dr. Carroll always remembers my dog and our previous visits (I'm sure they have notes they can look at but he knows extensive details and even if they do look at notes before they see you, that's more than vets she's had in the past, which goes to show how much they care). The front desk staff is always amazing and always kind. The manager has been there for year, and she's on top of things and makes sure her staff is too. They do get busy with calls, so they may put you on hold for a minute, but it's quick and they're worth the wait. You can also email them, and they always respond -- also rare based on my experience and complaints my friends have shared about their vets. Can you tell that I urge my friends to switch to Dr. Mitchell and Dr. Carroll? Their pricing is unbeatable! Trust me, I Lyft/Uber everywhere, and for that reason (cost and time), I looked for a place closer to uptown. Every single one of the veterinary offices with ratings as good as Midway Hollow (there aren't a lot with ratings as high as Midway) cost at least double -- LITERALLY double. My pup's "breed" is prone to dental issues, so she needs her teeth cleaned annually. All other vet offices within a five-mile radius of uptown/downtown charge a MINIMUM ranging from $400 to $700 for a five-pound dog (minimum rates were for quick, limited to mild buildup, and NO extractions cleans) ... I can't imagine what it would cost for a larger dog as they said her size saved a substantial amount of money due to fluids and sedation meds. The higher range of the other offices was over $1,000!!! Midway Hollow only charges $200 -- flat for her, extractions included. A friend who runs a prominent dog rescue in Austin, Texas, has decided to bring her family dogs all the way to Dallas to Midway Hollow for cleanings and anytime she visits family in Dallas, she'll bring at least two of her dogs for any of their other needs -- vaccines, gum issues (one had distemper as a pup), annual checks, etc. If she's willing to do that, as a stickler-for-high-quality when it comes to animals, then that goes to show this vet practice is truly incredible. The facilities are nice. They're not updated or fancy like some of the offices I've seen online (which is probably another reason their pricing is so great), but if you're reading these reviews, it's likely that you care less about office aesthetics and more about quality care for your pet and/or vet and staff demeanor. Point being, consider Midway Hollow. Either doc will provide your pet with care, but again, Dr. Mitchell is more our style.

Very attentive and each Vet we've seen has been great at explaining what care our dog needs whether it's been an illness or just a check up.

I LOVE Midway Hollow! We removed my dogs tumor and had a very successful surgery and post-op care. They understood my (whiny) dogs needs so well! They also took him in last minute on a Saturday for a emergency bandage re-wrap (being open on a Saturday was a huge plus). They have reasonable prices for the best care too!

I just realized I haven't updated my review since I started going to this clinic with my dog over 9 years ago. The staff have always been kind and great with my dog. Dr. Carroll has been a pleasure to deal with over the years. They have fit me in when I've had emergencies and consistently provide quality care. I really can't say enough about this clinic.

I was checked out in less than 30 min, I love they didn't try to put me on anything unnecessary and told me just what I needed to hear, I love coming here for my furbabies!!

I was a vet tech for 7 years and I have full faith in all their doctors and staff. We love Dr. Mitchell! Go here for excellent care.

I am very thankful for Dr. Carroll and his staff. Finding a good vet -- one that truly cares for your pet, is not an easy task! When I first moved to DFW and lived in Plano -- I tried out 4 different vets, none of them I really liked (and some of their prices were outrageous!). When I moved down into Dallas, I went to Midway Hollow upon a referral and I'm so glad I did. They've helped me with the loss of my first two dogs, and helped me with my new Great Dane babies. Oh, and their prices are very competitive... you won't go broke going to the vet (and with two Great Danes, I should know! lol).

Waste of time. I’ll rather drive to farmers branch. At least if I set an appointment I’ll be seen at the time scheduled than having to wait inside the car for an hour past the scheduled appointment.

First time there and I will never return. Got a big bill and when I asked to speak to someone in charge bc I wasn’t told before hand about the charges the assistant left and came back and said it was reviewed and was fair. No supervisor. Well thanks for having the professionalism to come speak to me about it. Price is not an issue with me when it comes to my dog But please don’t tack on the services not informing owners of the prices. Especially when other vets do most of those thing’s complimentary.

So about ten years ago when I was a broke college student, I brought my cat here after he started developing respiratory problems. Turns out he had FIP (which is always a terminal prognosis). But they did such a great job taking care of him at Midway Hollow that I've never forgotten it. 10 years later, I'm back in the neighborhood and brought a new rescue for neutering. Everybody is just as great as they were then. This is a fantastic place to bring your pet
