If your facing this decision I highly recommend lap of love and Dr Faye. So glad we decided to use their service. Save your pet the anxiety of having to travel somewhere unfamiliar. Makes an impossible day just a little easier knowing your loved one was comfortable in their favorite place. Dr. Faye and the staff are incredibly kind and compassionate from the first call.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr.Faye and the staff at Lap of Love. They were kind, gentle, patient and empathetic. They have beautiful ways of memorializing your precious fur baby. Their website provides many resources to help you through the loss of your precious four -legged family member. I’m so thankful I found them and am forever grateful.

I wish I could give Dr. Aubrey 100+ stars! She is an absolute angel and I can’t thank her enough for the work that she does. When we had to say goodbye our 13 year old pup recently, Dr. Aubrey came to our home and made our last moments with him full of love, peace, and comfort. It was the best possible experience because of her warmth and compassion for animals- and humans too! Thank you Dr. Aubrey!

After making a heart breaking decision, we were as pleased as one can be with the service provided from the initial phone call until out sweet girl left the house. Compassion, dignity, and information were all provided to us and a total sweetness and gentleness with our pet.

I unfortunately had to use Lap of Love’s services twice in 6 weeks and it was possibly the most painful experience of my entire life, but Dr. Faye’s kindest helped so so much. When she came the first time, she seemed genuinely interested to hear about all of my dogs, and when she came the second time, she actually teared up a bit for me. I work in a job that demands compassion for strangers 40+ hours a week, so I know that it is exhausting and nearly impossible, but Dr. Faye seemed to have genuine compassion for me and my dogs. I could not be more grateful for her making such a painful experience so much easier. I would not have changed anything about how my buddies crossed the rainbow bridge. It was worth every penny.

Had to make the incredibly difficult decision to say goodbye to our family cat of over 17 years. He was and is so loved and cared for and will be heavily missed. We couldn’t have had a better goodbye for him. Lap of love gave us the perfect way of saying goodbye to our fur baby and we are forever grateful. The ease of scheduling was easy and the kindness and understanding of the schedulers and Dr. Michelle were like none other. While it isn’t ever easy to decide it’s time to say goodbye, you won’t regret using Lap of Love to say goodbye to your furry friend. The details and thought put into the entire process are beautiful and make an already devastating arrangement, perfect. We’re looking forward to receiving his ashes to have him back at home. Rest In Peace to all the fur babies that have had beautiful send offs thanks to Lap of Love.

If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. I had to make the impossible decision to say goodbye to my cat so I made an appointment. They are just so incredibly compassionate. I ultimately decided I couldn't go through with it so I canceled and they were still wonderful even though it was very short notice. If the day comes where I need this type of service again there's no doubt who I'll call.

This had to be the toughest decision I have ever made in my life. My best friend of over 13 years passed over the Rainbow Bridge with the assistance of Dr. Faye. She is literally an angel on earth guiding our babies to the bridge. Her soft demeanor and kind heart made the whole process very smooth. I would highly recommend Lap of Love ❤

Making this decision was one of the hardest of my life, but Lap of Love was the best choice when it was time. I was able to let my sweet cat pass on in the comfort of his favorite spot with the help of Dr. Yoshida. She was kind, patient, and explained everything in detail while being so sensitive to the situation. This was worth every penny.

Dr. Michelle provided the best possible help with euthanizing a beloved dog on a Sunday morning. I do highly recommend Dr. Michelle to any loving pet owner in need of euthanizing a pet.

They told me that they no longer served our area. Then they did. Unsure as to what us the truth.

I'm glad everyone else had pleasant experiences, but I was not happy with my experience. I thought it might have just been my grief, but 6 months later I still feel like I was talked into putting my 12 year old cat down too soon. The actual appointment also felt very rushed and I was not warned about what was about to happen. I wish the doctor had told me how quickly the first shot kicks in. I'm pretty sure my cat's last living moment was wandering around the house confused, before I could get him into my arms. That was the opposite of what I wanted for him. The guilt is killing me. The box his ashes were returned in doesn't seem secure, the whole service just felt off considering how much I paid. It feels like I got tricked.

This was our first time having to have a pet euthanized, and I was very apprehensive about it. Our girl hated being put in a carrier and taken to the vet, so I dreaded having to put her through that in her last moments. I googled in home euthanasia, and am very glad it's something being offered. Our experience was as good as could be given the situation. Dr. Faye was respectful, gentle and caring, and our girl went very peacefully. I'd also like to note that the person I spoke with on the phone when making the appointment was also very respectful and kind.

I can say that the care and service we received from Lap of Love will never be forgotten. The entire process was outlined from the beginning with excellent communication. We feel that both the scheduler and the veterinarian were compassionate and kind during a time that can only be described as difficult at best. Our sweet Irish Setter Daisy was comfortable and pain free as she trotted over the rainbow bridge, after having made her final friend in Dr. Sarah. This decision is never an easy one to make, but it is much easier having seen the beautiful transition our girl made, not worrying if she was afraid at the end.

Our family had an emergency situation with our elderly bulldog. Our vet's office suggested another hospice. The lady rushed was quick to move through the motions of setting up an appointment. I was in tears by the time I discovered Lap of Love. I'm so thankful I did. Every member of the staff we spoke with expressed sympathy. They were very calm, nurturing, informative and kind. We have never done a home hospice for a passing fur baby before. Of course, it was still incredibly hard but Dr. Faye was extremly respectful of our home and loved our sweet girl as she cared for her in her final moments. I woukd highly recommend their services if you are looking for a more comforting approach to saying your final goodbyes to your fur baby.

Lap of Love was a blessing during one of the hardest moments in our lives. Dr. Dotson was so kind and compassionate, and our sweet fur baby instantly fell in love with her the minute she walked through the door. I'm at peace knowing our sweet girl fell asleep in her own bed surrounded by her loved ones, while eating her favorite foods! The whole process was so peaceful. We couldn't have asked for a better experience than the one Dr. Dotson blessed us with. We now have the happiest memories of our sweet baby, even during her last moments. Thank you so much <3

Dr. Faye was amazing. She is such a wonderful, calm, and kind person. She explained to me what was happening and what she was going to do. She was also very sweet and patient with my curious dog. She offered me some advice about my dog and it was so helpful. She obviously loves and respects animals. She came on New Year’s Day about 5 hours after I made an online inquiry. Such professionalism and care. She even emailed me afterwards and responded to an email that I sent her. I know she’s busy and her services ended, but she still had the compassion to reply back to me. If you ever find yourself needing in-home euthanasia for your beloved pet, do not hesitate to contact Lap of Love and request Dr. Faye. Thank you, Dr. Faye, and Lap of Love for helping me during this dark time.

In the most difficult time of my shorter 21 year old life, Lap of Love was there for my dog and family. Telling me what I needed to hear and know about the full process of what had to be done. I am someone who doesn’t like people beating around the bush In pressing times, she did the opposite and gave me all the information in a simple understandable way. Lap of love is the best in house Vet visits, please look into them and use them.

I emailed and called Lap of Love in the very early morning and they called within 2 hours. Dr. Dotson came to our home within 5 hours of my email and could not have been more kind and compassionate. Our Bobbie was at the and of his 14 years and she helped us say goodbye to him. I will tell all my friends about her and this organization.

Not sure if this is the same organization that took care of my sweet Isla dog when I lived in St Pete Beach but they were so good.

This is one of the hardest decisions I've had to make, but Lap of Love staff (Celeste and Dr. Dotson are who I talked to) were just so empathetic, kind, soft-spoken, professional and communicative. It was so important to us that my dog not have to go to the vet's; she always hated grooming, daycare and vet places. My Schnauzer's degenerative disc disease got worse and worse, and the pain meds seem to dull her zest for life. These last few days have been so hard and my little doggy is now at rest. It's a pricey service that's worth every penny.

I will be FURever grateful to Dr. Sarah. She was very kind to me and my family during a sad time. Our 11year old dog named Beautiful had internal bleeding due to liver issues. Dr. Sarah came to our home to help Beautiful earn her angel wings. She was very sweet to her and my other dog Bella. She made sure we were all comfortable and at ease. Before Beautiful earned her wings Dr. Sarah made a paw print for us to keep FURever. If anyone I know is in need of her services I will always refer them to Lap of Love.

Absolutley the best experience I could have wished for. My old puppy, Baby Love, was surounded by his loved ones and his sister laying on a blanket under blue sky's when we said good bye.

I called at 2:00PM and they were at our house by 3:30PM. What a wonderful group of individuals with caring hearts. Adam who took my phone call was great. Dr. Dotson was great. It is a gift knowing that Bella went in peace at her home in the comfort of those who loved her. Thank you Lap of Love.

When we had to send our Fur Angel, Cooper, home to be with the Lord they came and performed the procedure in our business where our baby went every day with me. He was my shadow for 12 years and my staff was his pack. He spent his last moments in the comfort of all of his friends and not on a cold table in a vet's office that stressed him. Godspeed Cooper and thank you to Lap of Love and Dr. Tangeman for offering this service and being so sensitive and professional.
