A+ grooming! They listened to exactly what kind of haircut I wanted for my Maltese, asked a lot of questions, and were extremely nice! Would 100% reccomend :)

Not sure what’s happened to Kibble Pet. The employee answering the phone was quite rude when I called to verify an appointment. After being (loudly) spoken to that way, we’ll take our grooming needs elsewhere. It’s a shame because KP has always done a great job and even expedited our grooming services when we were once in a rush to catch a flight. This is not the same level of professionalism or service now at Kibble Pet Grooming.

Terrible experience! I had an appointment booked at 8:30 on a Monday morning. The business hours of operation begin at 0800. I show up at 8:15 and the door is locked. I sit in the courtyard and wait. I begin calling the business repeatedly and no answer. I wait until 8:45 AM continuing to knock on the door with no answer. I had to leave to take my daughter to school and unfortunately it had taken me 45 minutes to get over to this location in morning rush-hour traffic. I even left a voicemail asking for a return call to let me know if they were closed for the day. The only message I got was one that stated I was a “no show”. The appointments are held with a credit card, so “no-shows” are charged a hefty fee. I corrected them and pointed out that they were actually the ones that “no-showed.” The response was “our opener had a difficult time in traffic this morning.“ Well, my first thought is, maybe that’s why your staff should be there at 0800, so that they allow time for problems in traffic, operational issues, etc. However, I’m a relatively understanding person, so I chalked it up as a one off event. They then “offer” to reschedule, but no discount or credited services for my inconvenience. I rescheduled for two days later at 9 AM. I show up at 8:50 and again the door is locked and the two staff members are just arriving. They unlock the door, we walk in and the phone is ringing off the hook. It is the manager who is informing the receptionist that the groomer has called in sick and they are unable to groom my two dogs. After two occurrences of the employees being “no-show“ and completely disrespecting my time, the only option at that point should’ve been offering completely complementary grooming services for both dogs on a separate day. I was offered a complementary “bath”. This of course would’ve required me driving back for a third time. If the employees were showing up at normal business hours, they would actually have time to troubleshoot issues like groomers calling in sick. They could actually notify customers in advance. I also thought it was strange that the manager is blowing up the phone at the business in an attempt to reach her employees when they walked in the door. Does she not have their cell phone numbers? Does the manager not have access to the database for her/his clients? Could he/she not have called me directly and saved me another 45 minute drive over there? This is basic customer service to me. Basic. I will also say that in past visits, the services take a very long time. I have never had a dog groomed in less than five hours at this location. They are not ready when you are told they will be ready. When I have called in the past, they still cannot give you an updated time. I have asked them to call me and notify me when they are 30 minutes away from being ready, and they never call. Do not recommend.

Our dog got completely shaved. He looks horrible. I wanted to like this place so bad, but after giving them 3 chances to do well, I can't come back anymore.

This is our third time to use Kibble Pet Grooming. Elizabeth and Destiny were the groomers of our three fur babies. We have a Great Pyrenees and 2 long haired dachshunds. They have always done a great job with grooming the dogs and taking care of each of their needs. Anytime one of our dogs has needed special attention, they have called us right away to touch base so that we could make a plan if needed. This is the first place I have found in Dallas that I have felt comfortable bringing my dogs back.

I don’t usually write reviews but I feel like this time was necessary. I took my dog in just for a nail trimming, customer service was amazing and the place is super clean. Everyone is nice and professional. I paid and tipped and took my pups home. When I got home I looked at his nails and it didn’t look like they did anything except maybe grind the top of his nail a bit. I called back to ask if they did anything and she mentioned that maybe the quick was too long so they only grinding barely anything. My problem is, if you know the quick is too long and you can’t do anything then why did you even take him. I spent $20 for them to barely dremel his nails. It would have been a lot nicer if they just told me to come back when there was something they could do.

I've been debating on writing this review but felt it was necessary! I took my dog here on 6/7 and as I was dropping her off I heard a groomer in the back YELLING at another dog. I couldn't see what was happening but could definitely hear the dog barking and crying. the groomer was berating the dog and said something along the lines of "if your humans wont discipline you I will blah blah you're a bad dog" and ok, I understand the dog wasn't cooperating but at that point I would hope the groomer would call me and say they can't complete the service so my dog doesn't come home traumatized and so the groomer isn't put in any danger. the girl at the front desk saw I was uncomfortable and sent someone else to the back to "have her quiet down". her being the screaming groomer.... I was nervous the entire time my dog was there and regretted not leaving with her when I heard it but I froze up. overall, my dogs cut was done well and she seemed perfectly fine but unfortunately, I will not be returning based on what I overheard.

Terrible service. I've been searching for a groomer for a bit and this was my second visit for this store. My first visit was just a bath and brush so no biggie. This time I wanted a bath and brush and a sanitary cut. The girl at the counter didn't have it on her list so i mentioned it to her even though I had noted that option online. Later, I received that call that she was done, picked her up, and drove back home. After inspecting her, I noted the dog did not receive the sanitary option. I didn't feel like traveling back so I called them and advised them that something was missing. The receptionist even confirmed over the phone with the groomer that it was not done. I told them no big deal and just to refund that portion because I didn't feel like traveling back. They refused the refund and offered an 8.00 credit for my next visit instead. I didn't agree and asked to speak to the manager. She said to bring the dog in to resolve the issue or I can receive the 8.00 credit. Begrudgingly I took my dog in. I then walked out of the parking lot and noted once again nothing had been done. Hesitantly, manager went back and did the process again but it was very haphazard. 3 times is not the charm it seems. I left and won't come back. She could have had a loyal customer by giving a refund for something that was confirmed to not have been done but she wanted to play a pissing contest. Do not go here terrible customer service and terrible quality of work.

Good afternoon , I just wanna say that I will be back to this groomer , and bather . They did an excellent job on my black lab that doesn’t like anybody but adored Answar. We travel from Wylie so it’s about an 45 min to and hour drive and it’s totally worth it , I will definitely be back .

Absolutely horrible. Our dog ended up at the vet after this visit, and we are now having to monitor him for 3-5 days. Story: We had an appointment for our 4 month old Bernedoodle puppy today and decided to try this place out for his first grooming. Staff seemed extremely nice and personable going in, but they kept insisting that I pay an extra $30 to have his teeth cleaned and ear hair fixed. Keep in mind, our dog is only 4 months old so not much to worry about there, but I agreed anyways. We dropped him off at 11:00 a.m. for his grooming, but then we got a call at 12:45 p.m. that they hadn’t started yet and that he was ‘screaming and freaking out about a bath’. We have given him a bath a week since we’ve got him because he likes to roll in dirt, and he is fully socialized so it was not because of him. We go to pick him up around 2:30ish, and everything seemed great until I got the bill. $110. For a 15 pound puppy. After this, we immediately took him home and noticed both of his eyes around his pupils are filled with blood and he was having trouble breathing. We called the vet ASAP and they told us our dog seemed to have an extreme amount of blood vessels in his eyes popped most likely due to being yanked around on a leash and were told we have to monitor him closely to make sure he doesn’t have any permanent eye damage or breathing damage. As the night has gone on, more and more of the whites of his eyes have filled with blood, and he is wheezing when he breathes. So I paid $110 to have my dog potentially be damaged for life. Absolutely avoid this horrible place for the safety of your own pets.

I took my 18 week Cavapoo to his first grooming ever on Saturday. Before this appointment my baby loved water and didn’t give me any trouble during bath time. He is now terrified. Won’t even get close. I’m not sure what happened but it …
