That was wildly frustrating. I called at 2pm today to ask if they could treat my cats herpes. For anyone not familiar, his symptoms of congestion and eye discharge worsen during high times of stress. After placing me on hold for a short time, another person answered and said I could bring my cat right now and drop him off for the vet to see when they could. After sharing that I'd prefer an appointment she shared that I could come in at 6pm. At 5:45 I arrived and the receptionist could not find my appointment. She made calls stating that she didn't answer my call yet she was the only one working. This was in a tone that insinuated that I called the wrong place, which I knew I didn't. I'm addition, during this line of calls, she kept saying I was asking about cat hepes in a tone that insinuated that I was completely ignorant to what's actually wrong with him. After talking to others in the back, she shared that she was the one who talked to me but that we got disconnected. I then stated that no, made an appointment at 6pm today. Upon further searching, it seems that my call ended up getting answered by someone else that it shouldn't have been. Why did she act as if she wasn't the one speaking to me? If she thought we got disconnected, why didn't she call me back? Why did I have to put immense stress on my already immunocompromised cat to not get seen by the doctor? Immense lack of ownership on their end

They are always so nice and friendly there! They gave me some great advice and they never keep me waiting. I have a great experience every time I visit, and they take great care of my furry friend.

You can hardly resist taking 2 or 3 home with you.

Horrible communication. Spoke with a receptionist that scheduled me a totally different date that I never agreed to. I showed up, was led into a room for my cat, and then told I had to leave. Big waste of my time unfortunately.

Kitty/cat heaven!! We adopted sister kittens. The whole process was WONDERFUL! The inside is wonderful as well. There are a couple of "play rooms" for the kittens/cats. There are also a couple actual bedrooms I have to assume would be for boarding. The staff is very informative and patient answering questions. I actually had someone keep in touch with me via text messaging. She sent me pictures of my angels. The only negative thing I can think of is the front desk is not as responsive or welcoming.

The Cat Care Center was much less stressful for Eddie in the cat only environment. Dr. Miller was very comprehensive in her assessment of my very sick cat . She was great at communicating with his primary vet as we live a good distance from Dallas. Eddie is a bit angry and bitter about the trauma of the last several weeks but well on the road to recovery. Thank you Dr. Miller and the Cat Care Center for taking such excellent care of my boy!

The staff was very helpful and built a connection while we visited. Dublin and Ireland were both adopted from here and we will continue to work with East Lake Cat Care to ensure our boys are around for a very long time!

Always a friendly staff. Lots of kitties to see. Very gentle with both my boys who like to be difficult. Very clean and welcoming environment!

I got my kitten from here and the foster family that she was with was absolutely amazing. I could tell how much love and time was poured into her and she’s been the most incredible cat. These folks truly care!

I love, love, love the East Lake Pet Resort. My “former orphan”, Owen Wilson, is treated like the star he is during his stays. I know that my senior kitty will get THE BEST care while I’m away. Getting daily photos of Owen Wilson brightens my day! If you have to (get to!) travel and need the best pet hotel for your furry family member, East Lake Pet Resort is the best place in Dallas! Kate and her staff will take amazing care of your sweet fur baby!

Couldn't have asked for a better experience at East Lake! Everyone was so nice and helpful in our cat search. We adopted the sweetest, older cat, who was so well cared for at East Lake. Everyone from the volunteers to the vets treated her as if she were their own. You can tell the staff genuinely cares for and loves each of the kitties. If you're looking for a cat, definitely go to ELPO!

It looks like the owner cares about this place. It's an adorable building and decor. The front-end staff seemed a little disengaged and not too knowledgeable. The photos of adoptable cats are great, but not representative. Just head shots. You can't even tell the cats' size. It was a pretty long drive for nothing. Comments are not about the vet staff, who were friendly and I have no reason to assume are not great.

My family put in an application in person for 2 kittens. We were told that no one else had put in apps on the kittens. They bonded with my daughter. I called a week later to check on the application status, and couldn’t get through, so I left a message. No response. I called again days later. Left a message again. No response. Today, I called them and I finally got through; only to find out that some one had lost our application. Furthermore, one of the kittens had passed away (not their fault), and the other “has been promised to someone else.” They told me. They then proceeded to ask me to put another application in. I asked why the responsibility fell on me to submit another application, when THEY lost it in the first place, and I asked if they would look for it. They insisted that they wanted to “make it right” , by repeatedly suggesting that we put in another application for different kittens “but a lot of them are sick right now”????. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with our experience with this establishment, and do not recommend it. Plenty of other cat adoption centers have more effective records management systems in place, so that you won’t have to worry about things like this happening.

If you want the very best care for your cat, this is it!

3 hours for a simple immunization appointment. That was pre-scheduled. I guess they let you play with the cats while you wait, but 3 hours? Get it together.

Me and my husband Filled out so many applications here and visited several times and all we got is ignorance! The cats we put applications for get adopted and we still get no response on our applications ???? bad customer service

I adopted the most wonderful kitten from East Lake Cat Care Center! Fuzzy is absolutely precious❣️ Kate Wagner walked me through the process and she was great! She has helped me in every way possible and made sure that it was an easy adoption! She is professional, caring and so friendly! I would recommend her to anyone who is thinking of adoption at East Lake Cat Care Center!

The Cat Care Center helped my family re-home a deceased family member's kitty in less than 24 hours. The staff is super supportive and professional. They go above and beyond to help you and your fur baby. And, not only is the staff amazing, but so are their guests. The cats and kittens here are affectionate and adorable little purr machines. And their resident kitty, Rocky, is the most photogenic cat I've ever encountered, too! For whatever reason brings you to the Cat Care Center, you'll have made the right choice coming here.

The cat care center offers a multitude of services. I adopted my black kitten from here a year ago. They are my primary clinic for my cat when she needs shots. Boarding is also available for when you go on vacation and need someone to look after your cat. I appreciate that the staff are passionate about animals, especially your feline friend.

My sister and I just visited the cat care center and loved it! The staff and volunteers were there to answer any questions we had. They were so kind and professional. We are looking to adopt a kitten, and I would recommend this location to anyone.

I adopted a kitten over a month ago and the kitten is in great health and super sweet. I took the cat to get his first booster shots and they asked me to drop off some fecal samples and someone would call me back with the result. No one called me and I had to call after several days for the result. I took the cat to get his 2nd booster shots and the day after the shots, the cat wasn't eating and not acting normal. I called 3x that day, no one called me back. Finally a nurse called me back the next day afternoon saying the notes were just left on the front desk and they just saw them. The cat's microchip is supposed to be registered with Home Again. I checked out the website and realized the cat has not been registered. I called ELPO over the course of a few weeks, and everyone took down my information and again, no one called me back with a resolution. I got the cat over a month ago and by now, it should have been registered. In a nutshell, customer service is non-existent.

We just adopted a mommy and daughter pair from East Lake Cat Care Center a month ago and both cats (mommy and kitten) are doing great!! They were adopted for my daughter's 7th birthday. It was a smooth adoption experience. The staff were always very friendly and accomodating in our visits in checking out the kittens available for ahoption. They actually let my daughter play with potential kittens in their play area for over an hour several times before we committed to the pair. We are very happy with our adoption and will highly recommend East Lake Cat Care Center to anyone who's looking to adopt cats!

Me again! Rented a Kitty Suite at the Center the week and wanted to share a quick review. What an amazing experience, very last minute decision due to family emergency, and the service from the staff (specifically Kate and Ben) was delightful. Cute space (suite) with bed, tv, and window views, created with love and thoughtfulness. Ashton loved is time there and was checked on various times throughout the day. Over 24 hours I received a couple of messages letting me know how he was doing. I would definitely recommend the center to anyone looking to board their fur baby at a reasonable value. Love, love the space.

adopted two kittens from here. the only complain I have is the front lady was rude ands judgmental. she was in a hurry and wasn't very helpful at all
