The techs are all very fast and efficient at handling all situations and getting people and patients where they need to be in timely manners. Our previous groomer of 4 years had gone awal and unresponsive after a covid outbreak. Not easy finding a groomer to take care of a 113 lb giant schnauzer but they sure did. Both the giant and the mini came back looking way better than ever before and at a very reasonable price. About half what we always paid the specialty groomer in oak cliff. Very pleased and grateful.

Great place! Great staff! My local cityvet stopped selling a flea medication so I travel about 45 minutes to buy it from the uptown location. But it's worth is for a quality product that works for my dogs. There's never a line and service is speedy. Clean location. Free sodas ????

Love City Vet Uptown, and honestly any City Vet location. They always take care of my pup, keep me informed every step of the way, and are so kind!

We have been seeing Dr. Murphy for over 7 years for our cats. We even moved and make the drive as we trust Dr. Murphy so much and it's worth our peace of mind to know our fur babies are in excellent hands! Our older cat has had many GI issues and Dr. Murphy was so helpful in diagnosing him and getting him on the correct diet. We lost one kitty due to heart disease and the way his case was treated was handled great given the heartbreaking circumstances. We will forever be grateful for Dr. Murphy and his staff as we have had a great experience!

I’ve been taking my 3 dogs here for all their medical needs and today was the first time they groomed on of my babies and I’m totally satisfied and their prices were cheaper than the one Ive been using .. I will take my other two babies here for sure ..

We are new to Dallas and are lucky to have found City Vet quickly. One of our dogs needed care and our vet and all technicians were professional and caring. Great choice.

Dr. Murphy is great and has cared for my pets over 20 years. However, the UpTown clinic staff is terrible. After taking care of my 14 year old Miniature Dachshund since she was 12 weeks old, he had to euthanasia her. The clinic never called me to let me know her ashes had been returned. When I called to see what happened, I was told someone left me a voice mail. That was not true. The staff is terrible and I will never forgive them for letting my dog's ashes just sit around somewhere and not notify me. Shame on them.

I took my Chihuahua of 14 years there for an allergy shot. They asked that she gets a vaccine since last one was over 6 months old. As I'm waiting with my baby, Cassie, the vaccine tech empties a syringe full of what she claimed it was dewormer in my babies mouth. My baby did not have worms, not was I asked if she could do that. My baby suffered an imidiate heart failure. Latter she passed away. This is a vet I have used for the last 14 years, and trusted them blindly. I know this review will not bring my baby back, but it can perhaps keep yours from harm.

I love taking my Chester to get sedated grooming..I trust them with administering him sedation medicine..He comes home looking good..smelling good...I like that they do specifically what is asked of them..I love this business!

I highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Murphy! I have been bringing my dog here for several years and everyone always treats her with love and the best care! I know she is in good hands whether being seen as a patient or staying for boarding.

Dr. Murphy is always friendly and has a bunch of energy. He treats my cat and dog like they were his own pets and will follow up by calling always. He even has texted me when I couldn’t answer since I was in meetings. The staff is always nice and it is a fantastic benefit to be able to drop off my pets for grooming, checkups and even day care/boarding all in the same location.

My dog Emmy used to be very fearful about coming in but the sweet staff worked their magic on her and now her visits are pretty smooth. Thank you guys for all your help with my girl!

Yesterday i brought my puppies in for their first check up.Everyone there were so professional and so sweet... The took good care of my puppies and answered all questions i had. Dr. Murphy and all the stuff are the best.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET TO ANY CITYVET LOCATION. Over the course of two years, I have been overcharged for grooms, as well as charged for vaccines that they never gave my dog. On three separate occasions I was charged for vaccines that are not on my dogs shot record history as of today. My poor dog was butchered last time she was groomed with cuts and scrapes all over her. Two times I have waited over 4 plus hours for my dog to receive vaccines only to be turned away because they were too busy, even with a scheduled appointment. Terrible service, terrible hospitality and just down right terrible people. I feel so bad for the vets that are actually amazing. The people running their offices will run it straight into the ground.

We LOVE city vet especially the uptown location. They take such good care of our Wheaton Terrier Porter. This is my first time have a dog for a pet so I was (and probably still am) very paranoid about everything to do with Porter. The team at uptown- is so patient with me and my questions and Porter loves them too. When we bring him in he forgets all about us because he’s so exciting see everyone there. Dr.Murphy is the best and has been so patient and helpful with working with us to get Porters allergies under control.

This place has literally saved the loves of 2 of my rescues through their knowledge and compassion as well as aided in a quick recovery of another rescue that was an amputee

This vet clinic is great - clean, efficient and professional. Staff and vets are friendly and patient with the animals and customers. I know my dog is well cared for with this vet group - a great find in Dallas.

Such a thorough friendly staff. This location by far is the best. Dixie is a total scaredy pants and she is cool as a cucumber here. They aren't cheap but they are awesome and my pet is worth it

City Vet is always accommodating. They are so attentive to Zoey. As far as the groomer, Heather, well there is no one better!!! She is the main reason we come here.

Dr Matt Murphy is the best. We have been with him for 9 years since we got our sweet pup. He is always honest, open, and always provides the best treatment for my girl. I drive to Uptown after we moved out of Uptown a few years ago just to see Dr murphy. We will always use him as our vet from now until forever!

I came in with my aging cat several months ago with three questions, but after an hour the vet only focused on one (with no success). The vet's office was also empty when I arrived so it was not necessarily "busy." I understand vet visits can be pricey, but I left with no information needed (like how much does my cat weigh because I'm concerned about her weight loss) and have to basically redo the same appointment with the same questions at another vet that might actually listen to me or examine my cat. My visit really was a waste of time and money, and I had wanted them to draw blood - which seems like something they were uninterested in providing.

Easy and quick, took great care of my pup.
