Dr. Tracy and his staff care about the animals. I have used their services for over 20 years and will always look to them first.

I take my 16 year old doggie here and they have always treated her very respectfully. Dr. Tracy is honest and open about treatment options. I have been to other vets who try to push a lot of medications and very expensive diet plans for my dog’s ailments but Dr. Tracy was able to come up with a plan that is more about her quality of life which is more important to me at this point. We will definitely continue to use Tracy Animal for our pets!

This is by far the best animal hospital in Houston. Dr Tanner Tracy is phenomenal. Always has been. He calls your pets by their names, a huge plus, instead of talking about them as if they're not present. He even remembers the name of my beloved Jake,that I lost two years ago. I would literally drive from a neighboring state if I ever move. The vet techs and receptionist are also very caring. I can honestly say that making a buck at all costs isn't their goal. That will win them long term clients for sure. I came in one time to ask a random food question and the actual Dr came out and addressed it personally. You never EVER see that ANYWHERE. I asked if blood test was needed and he said not yet. I know, from personal experience ,that most vets will say" yeah, that's a great idea" to pad the bill. Not here. They tell you EXACTLY what's needed. Integrity goes a long way with me and they have it.. There's no way I would go elsewhere...

Very impressed with this place. Took my chihuahua in for chronic coughing. I thought it was a collapsed trach, but Dr. Tracy concluded upper respiratory issue. I was in and out in 30 minutes. I will return.

my family has been taking our dogs here for about 15 years and they have never failed to be friendly and caring with our dogs and us you can really tell they actually care about the animals that come in there

I cannot say enough about how much I love this clinic and the staff! They took us in when our precious puppy was 9 weeks old and became an extension of our family for the next 12 years. We had to say goodbye to our precious lab yesterday and the love and compassion that they gave us is an extension of who they are. Love these guys!

Outstanding Service, Great People, Best Doctors....

I was in over my head when trapping a feral cat. The staff and doctor were kind and helpful to assist me with the sudden issues at hand regarding a very stressed cat. I am very appreciative of their flexibility and help with this matter. Thanks again Tracy Animal Hospital!! Debra H

BEST VET ON EARTH! I can’t believe I’ve never left a review, I’ve been going here since I was a kid (my parents vet back then). Dr Tracy and his staff will always go above and beyond for your pet. They NEVER over charge or run unnecessary tests. This business is truly a family, and they will treat you and your fur babies like family! ❤️

Killed my 7 year old lab. She was taking rimadyl...vomited numerous times over weekend. Brought her in Monday .. couldn’t eat or drink ANYTHING... stayed all day to be monitored..said she was fine and could go home end of day (without ANY tests). Situation worsened overnight, brought her back next morning and she died in their facility of a stomach ulcer perforation ( autopsy performed). They should have known issues with rimadyl. Extremely unhappy with lack of care.

I don’t leave reviews on places often but I love the Tracy animal hospital ❤️???? my poor Malibu had a terrible incident where he fell out my window ???? and they took such great care of him when other vets turned me down bc the price was to hi for the surgery, here they were able to compromise with me. My other fur baby goes to vca animal hospital but I think I’ll be switching him over to here!????

They took great care of my dog, Stevie, when she had her dental cleaning! They let me come in a few days prior and talk over any concerns I had at no extra cost. The cost of the cleaning and extractions were also very reasonable! Thank y’all for taking care of my baby!

Update: I just received a vaccination reminder from the clinic for my cat that they put down a year and a half ago. Lovely job, fellas. My last experience with the hospital was taking my 12 year old cat in to be put to sleep. I felt the staff was professional. The clinic was clean. The experience was pretty terrible. Granted there is no easy way to lose something so close, but the cold indifference of the doctor and staff exacerbated the experience. I had questions, but the process was done so rapidly and with such practice that there was no time. When he passed, the doctor and vet tech exited with such haste that the box of Kleenex the vet tech threw on the exam table nearly fell off and I was alone. My cat was dead. I wrapped him in a sweater I'd worn, and when no one returned, I left. I understand the time constraints on doctors, and while I saw no one in the waiting room before or after, I know they may have had a full schedule. I know part of my response is based on my own guilt and grief. However, I believe that this doctor and staff are capable of doing better and I hope they do. I hope that the next person experiences more empathy and care than we did. 3 stars is not a bad rating, but as Google's own rating system defines it, this office at present is just "okay."

My Tinkerbell had TPLO surgery. On the first try she had a bad experience with anesthesia and Dr Tracy decided to wake her instead of doing the surgery (amazing that he cared about her wellbeing rather than her leg). We are one week today post op and Tinkie is doing absolutely wonderful. The incision site is barely noticeable and she has been using it from day one. I highly recommend Dr Tracy and the entire staff. They are all every knowledgeable, concerned, caring and gentle with our animals.

I LOVE this clinic! I take my bull dog pit mix Cookie here for anything and everything! She always receives the best care and love. I have taken her multiple times with no issues. Very knowledgeable veterinarians and staff. They always have Cookies best intrest at heart and answer all my questions with ease. I give them 100 stars. I refuse to go anywhere else.

I love both Dr. Tanner Tracy and Dr. Tracy Sr. I have been using Tracy Animal Hospital for over 20 years for all of my dogs over the years. All receiving excellent and personal care from both Dr. Tracy's. I love how they have all the experience of Dr. Tracy Sr and all the newest information/technology knowledge of Dr. Tanner Tracy and how they work as a team for the best care possible. They really care about my dogs and are very patient and kind in their explanations to me - making sure I fully understand and am comfortable with their treatment plan. I would never take my precious fur babies anywhere else.

Dr. Russell Tracy and Dr. Tanner Tracy have cared for our dogs for over 30 years. I have been extremely pleased with their services, compassion and never ending love of animals. They also have an AMAZING VET TECH named Kim who has been there for over 30 years. We love Tracy Animal Hospital and their entire team!

I’ve been going to Dr. Tracy’s office since I was a little kid with the family pets and he was always wonderful! Now that I have fur kids of my own, we go and see Dr. Tracy’s son who is just as caring and compassionate about what he does! Something that I truly appreciate about Dr. Tracy is that he’s a straight shooter. He will always give a straight, understandable answer and will always give you multiple options. The office staff has always been wonderful and we will continue to drive in from Houston to see Dr. Tracy when needed!

I was referred to Tracy Animal Hospital after our kitten was attacked. They are amazing, our kitten unfortunately had to had his leg amputated but Dr. Tracy and Phillip made the whole event a lot easier. They never seemed bothered when I called to check on my baby. Our kitten didn’t seem stressed at all at pick up he was clean and happy. We have found Gilbert his new doctor for all of his medical needs. The four legged family members come first at this clinic. Friendly and helpful people that make the necessary visits an easy experience. Dr. Tracey calls back very timely to answer any questions that may come up and is very compassionate to your pets needs.

They are so loving & compassionate with my animals. I had one of my cats attacked by a dog and they did EVERYTHING they could to help her and us. Wouldn't take my furr babies to anyone else if i can help it. So i highly recommend!

Great staff, informative, patient, understanding. Dr Rusty Tracy has performed knee surgery on both knees of my dog. She healed great on last years right knee surgery. Currently in recovery/therapy on this years left knee. I would easily recommend them.

We have used Tracy for more than 15 years; now on our second generation Dr. Tracy. Our dogs have always received professional and caring treatment. Staff so kind and compassionate when older dogs had to be put down. We use their boarding when traveling and pups are well cared for when we are away. I like that if something comes up, Dr. Tracy is right there to treat.

They are super nice and treat my 4 dogs like their own.

Everyone is awesome and truly cares about my animals. Been going here over 15 years and won't go anywhere else.
