Longwood Animal Hospital and Pet Resort Cypress, Texas

I brought a cat that my husband and I found dragging herself in the middle of the road, guessing she had been hit by a car. Thankfully the team was able to take her in and see her immediately, with Dr. McBride as attending DVM. They were great, sympathetic, courteous and professional. The cat survived and we ended up keeping her. Thanks to Dr. McBride and team, Cat, now named Lucy, is on her way to full recovery.

We had a very ill cat and although they were very short staffed, they worked her in. Dr. McBride called at least 5 times updating us and the cat has actually turned a corner and is feeling much better. We have been using their services for the last 3 years and think they are the best!! We greatly appreciate them.

I love Longwood Hospital, Thor has been going there since he was 9 weeks old. Everyone there is friendly and genuinely love animals which transcends to how they treat Thor ❤️❤️❤️ I feel confident that he is well taken care of w expert hands and love !

Dr. McBride was great, she took good care of our dogs and was very patient with me for questions.

Everyone is very nice, very good at what they do and are kind and gentle with the animals. I really trust them and like them all very much. I appreciate that there is a groomer on site. I was given a call from the office that there had been an “incident” with the groomer and my dog. I braced myself to hear about a terrible injury only to be told the groomer had accidentally cut her eyelashes. That was delivered in a way more dramatic fashion than necessary. I do prefer that he doesn’t cut her eyelashes but good grief...I didn’t need to be played like that. Which would only work once btw. Not enough of an issue to not go to the vet there. For now, not enough to leave the groomer. Update: I am about to post here a nice comment and was reading over my last one. I obviously was upset then by the events but I should have waited until I calmed down to write it. Now, of course, I wished I had been more gentle in my wording. That type of event is not a regular occurrence and everyone should receive a little grace on a single bad day. I TRUST THE PEOPLE AT LongwoodAnimalHospital with my precious pet for a reason. I recently took my dog in for a couple of issues she has going on and THEY WERE WONDERFUL. They are nice and good at what they do.

The physicians and staff are the best. They care about my pets as if they are their own.

They truly care for the well being of my pets!! Willow, Oaklee, Gob & Tobias are always well taken care of there!!

I recently took my 13 year old dog to have a large mass removed from his eyelid. I found the pricing to be very fair (approximately 650.00 as opposed to the Blue Pearls and Gulf Coast surgery choices which runs thousands) and the care and service exceptional. They followed up with me to check on my dog afterwards which is a huge plus! The staff is friendly and kind which will keep me coming back.

The staff at Longwood Animal Hospital is amazing. We are especially fond of Dr. McBride and the great care she takes of our fur babies. The front staff and techs are so sweet and good with the animals, and they treat them as their own. Definitely recommend them!

I had to get my dog his shots and some flea and tick medicine. Everyone was so friendly, and I love how clean the place is when you walk in. A lot of vet places seem old and smell, but this place was bright, clean, and no foul stench. Another positive was that the shots and medicine were cheaper here than at our other vet in Baton Rouge.

Needed my double coated retriever groomed. They did an outstanding job. He was a mess but they made him look great!

Very sweet staff with warm welcoming from the start. Extremely open- minded & helpful tips from veterinarians. I was recommended to see a specific one of the three that work there from my coworker who referred me to vet, but she is the only one I have not seen. I’m so happy with the my experiences there that if one is not available it is not a big deal. I’ve had a difficult rescue but with helpful tips from staff along with literature links provided he has transformed with no professional training. Their hospitality and genuine concern for animals probably impressed me the most when I was offered to bring him by on non-busy days to feel comfortable with staff, help him socialize, and know this place is not only about getting shots. I will use this vet always if I don’t move.

Brought my two aging Shih Tzus here for some tests and advice. Dr. Gasson spent a lot of time getting to know my girls, talking to me, and didn't try to sell me on a bunch of tests I didn't need. He was compassionate, kind and didn't treat me (or my dogs) like a number. When he called me back with test results, he listened to me cry and talked me through my decisions. Highly recommend.

Absolutely the worst vet clinic in Cypress. Management has no regard for their clientele nor patients. I would recommend pet lovers stay far away from this facility.

I have been bringing my dog to Longwood Animal Hospital for the past five years. My problem child has been seen by all the vets and each one has been courteous and profesional. The techs and the receptionists are all exceptional. They have even worked in my dog for emergency visits when they can. We are extremely happy with the services provided by the staff at Longwood Animal Hospital.

They have always treated my silky terrier with the upmost concern and gentleness. He is not afraid to go to the vet and actually enjoys the visit! The staff is outstanding and always calls me back when needed. Would always recommend this facility for your pets needs.

Dr. Lee is a credit to the profession. Her care and passion makes a world of difference "in a trip to the vet" that is an emotional experience for our pets. Between the staff and Dr. Lee, you will leave knowing that they are as passionate as you are about YOUR pet and their health. Would not even consider going anywhere else.

Staff extremely helpful, understanding and make you feeling welcome! They are easy going but very professional. Some items and service may be alittle high but balance out with specials and other items and services that are lower! Offer grooming and boarding which is a big plus! Very clean and caring staff, so would highly recommend Longwood Animal Hospital!!!!

I know that when I leave my dog here for a kennel visit he will be receiving just as much love as if he was at home.

I recently had to put down my dog of 16 years. The staff was extremely supportive and kind. They provided me with a beautiful box for his ashes and a lovely little pawprint, along with some other little goodies that brought our family to tears. I could not have picked a better place to say goodbye to my friend. Highly recommend! Thank you to all the staff there! You made one of my most difficult times so much more beautiful.

I had to pick up a customer's dog that had gotten groomed at this location but I am familiar with this facility very organized and they have a great staff due to covid they have a great system that you pull up and park at a numbered lot and text them and tell them you are there to pick up your dog and they bring the dog right out to you and will charge your credit card accordingly very efficient very safe and I felt very comfortable there. And they did a great job grooming the pup.

First visit with our puppy and it was a great experience. Staff is very friendly and professional. We’ll be back again!

Made my appointment via the portal which was easy. Checked in upon arrival, wait was minimal. Was taken into the room by the nurse, she listened to my concerns then relayed them to the doctor, explained about the price up front which was good ( no surprises). My Benji loves it here. He even let the Dr and the nurse give him medicine in front of me and he behaved. It shows that they care about our fur babies which makes me happy.

I use to use this place.It smells terrible and it looks fithy.i was going to board my dog there but after the view of the little windowless room they keep them in is terrible. Check out before you leave a pet there.The staff is not very friendly either.
