Absolutely love this veterinarian facility and all of its staff. Highly recommend this Veterinarian definitely one of the best we've ever had!

Don’t let the name fool you. For a vet hospital, my visit didn’t cost any extra than a neighborhood vet. I brought my dog in for vomiting (of course she stopped right before I brought her), but they caught an ear infection and assured me her stomach was fine. They have called twice in a week to check on her for no extra fee. My trouble maker then ate a melatonin gummy and when I called, they let me know that it wasn’t too emergent as it didn’t have the specific dangerous ingredient in it. They instructed me to just call poison control (which is what they would do) so I could save on the visit fee with them. Very caring and quick! I have found my new vet!!

Absolutely love the attention and care that my cat receives here. The staff is so caring and gave updates on my cat’s surgery. I knew when he was about to go under anestesia, got a call from the vet post surgery, scheduled a pickup, and received after care instructions. They even call just to check in on my cat’s health. I couldn’t ask for more!

Today we did our weekly bath for our allergy girl Clea, once I removed her collar I realized her skin had been rubbed raw and it looked to be infected from her collars. I quickly called our normal vet of 5+ yrs but they have had an unnoted change in policy that a same day emergency/doublebook would be a $75 exam fee along with a 1-2 hr wait which would not have been a problem with the wait but I was caught off guard with the additional fee. I decided to try fairfield to get her in quickly but also avoid an additional fee if possible. Fairfield got us in super quickly for same day, no additional fee, and no wait. They do require one adult per animal, mask on entry, and a deposit for an appointment which I assume is because I am a new client all of which was not a problem. The receptionist was so friendly and helpful over the phone and did not disappoint in person, I was a complete mess upon making my appointment seeing the issue and feeling like a horrible dog mom we are usually on top of her care but we recently moved and there is so much going on. I sent a very (overly) detailed email of concerns for my girl with history.. My girl has some pretty serious health concerns and the receptionist alerted me upon check in that she did note my concerns in her chart. They actually had me In a room before I could finish my paperwork and although my girl can be squirrel in new situations, the tech made an amazing attempt to be a new friend and went above and beyond as well as the other techs and shadower that assisted. The doctor was helpful and informative and did exactly what I expected but was SO HELPFUL and super informative. I am sorry I did not get names to thank you personally. Everyone was amazing and I have no doubt that she will get to know them as well as her previous vet. She usually gets so excited for visits because she knows she gets pets.. I appreciate the amazing above and beyond service I received on an emotional day, we have never had an illness that I have not caught quickly and it hurt to know my pup was dealing with this while I was unaware. Also as a vet tech/receptionist for 20 years you guys all rocked it. This is the exact type of care I expect! Oh by the way I am sorry to the amazing tech I butted in for holding clea without meaning to.. I tried really hard, it's muscle memory I have never not held her for an exam it was wierd for me and I made it wierd for you.  I have never not held her or our other pets for exam or any procedure as they can be difficult and I have always worked at the clinics we have used prior and it's noted in their charts for safety I hold them. I really should have communicated better, but you did amazing handling her.

Staff is nice and our dogs like going there. They treat our two kids really well

We called Fairfield Animal Hospital to see if they were able to see Mercy on Saturday. She had a problem with her stomach. Everyone was so kind and compassionate. The Vet checked Mercy and determined she had a stomach issue. He placed her on antibiotics. Within 24 hours she is back to her mischievous self. Very thankful for Fairfield Animal Hospital.

We took our dog Daisy here to be treated for her arthritis pain in her joints. They were very welcoming and thorough. I especially love the fact that they are letting 1 person accompany our Daisy into the room! We changed vets because they were only doing curb side and that for me is unacceptable. We have transferred all of our pups records over to Fairfield now and look forward to having them taken care of!

I came to bring my dog in after being attacked by a dog, and the receptionist workers said they could help. They brought her back and checked everything, but when the doctor (DR HICKS) came in, he rushed to tell me the information without my mom in the room and didn’t even want to repeat what he had said. He rolled his eyes and said, “I WISHED YOU WERE IN HERE” And then he started rambling about the price and saying he didn’t know what the cost would come out too and We hadn’t even asked him about pricing at all. He had deplorable side manners and was just very rude. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

We stopped in w my daughter n family for their 20th anniversary. Dr n staff went above and beyond. I now see why my daughter loves them.

They are kind to pets and are good at their job the only thing is this and it could be worked on I know they get busy at times so I will forgive them.

I’ve taken both of my dogs there and all the staff is very friendly. When making an appointment, depending on the severity they do their best to fit you in as soon as possible. The clinic is kept very clean.

I have been going here for years and always loved it. Today I called (sat) to see if they could see my puppy who is sick and they were unable to see him today but could see him tomorrow (Sunday) which was not a big deal until she told me that because it would be a Sunday and under staffed that it’s considered urgent care prices instead of the normal office visit fee. I just don’t understand why if you are normally open that day that it would cost more just for that day. Feeling really disappointed and honestly considering changing vets. I understand not having something available the day i call but to charge me more on a Sunday just doesn’t make sense to me.

Update:. I was looking at the wrong location. I actually went to the Fairhaven vet to have my dog groomed and they told me that Fairfield animal hospital closed and they had to inherit their customers. Weird. Original review. Sadly they have closed for good and all services have been transferred to the vet down the street

Great staff and vets, affordable.

One of the hardest things a pet owner can do is come to terms that their pet may not make it. I take all my animals here and have had some extra furry friends adopt me along the way. Our cat was hurt and I was at a complete loss on what to do. (not to mention a complete heartbroken mess) The time and understanding of Fairfield Animal Hospital staff is immeasurable. They took the time to explain our options. Just having that compassion is something you cannot place a dollar amount on. I thank the entire staff for always putting their whole heart into their jobs. I trust and value this place.

They were open when everyone else was not during the 2021 February snow. temperatures in the teens, and power outages. Dr. Hennessey is impressive sounding on the phone. The only thing I do not like is not being able to enter the place - still not allowing people inside. HEB, Home Depot, Best Buy, Malls, etc. have been letting people inside. Not sure why the vet is keeping people out - no old people here - never heard of animal related COVID risks.

Always had a good experience at Fairfield Animal Hospital. They are caring, professional, and very polite. I completely trust them for my cat's care.

Dr.Harris is so kind and so helpful.My dog had test and she called me back the next day and told me what was wrong.The nurses all seen so caring.Jennifer the receptionist was very kind and helpful.I would recommend Fairfield to anyone.Very nice
