Tejas Veterinary Clinic Corpus Christi, Texas

We needed to get our pug puppy neutered. We normally use another vet closer to our home, but they weren’t able to get us scheduled for a couple months. They recommended Tejas so we used them. I’m so glad we did. The check in/drop off process was great. Gloria was very friendly and informative, and offered her opinion on the procedure when asked. I really appreciated her honesty. The price was reasonable as well. The thing I liked the best was that they texted when my pup went in to surgery and again when he was in recovery giving me updates. I liked that because when your fur baby is at the vet, and you see the vets number on your caller ID, you panic just a little bit thinking the worst! If our regular vet is ever unavailable again, Tejas will be our backup!

Had a great experience here with my dog! Staff was friendly, services were affordable & I didn't feel like they pushed unnecessary procedures.

Friendly and knowledgeable. They came highly recommended for cropping my doberman,s ears.

My cat Mango was spayed yesterday. She has not shown any signs of having gone through surgery. She is eating, sleeping well and even playing with her 2 dog siblings. The surgery, in my opinion, was so well done because Mango is not exhibiting any signs of pain or discomfort. She is acting her normal self. She is resting comfortably ❤️

All of the employees are amazing and treated my cat as if he was their own. He receive such wonderul care, thanks to all of you at Tejas, my kitty Shadow and I appreciate you!

They need to get their scheduling together!! Do not recommend scheduling w them at all!

My dog was sick with Parvo I went in the last hour of their scheduled time and they saw me sent me home with treatment and called me the following days to see how they dog was doing they really care and helped me all the way through a very good place to go.

They really treat our dogs well. They are friendly and helpful. Best of all, they are cost effective.

The staff and doctor Hubert are great. Everyone is friendly and you can tell they are happy to be there helping customers and their pets. They saw us on very short notice Monday afternoon and were very very affordable considering my cat had several shots and was sent home with antibiotics and steroids. Give them a visit when you are in need!

I am very disappointed, seems like this people aren't sure how to do a sedative procedure. I took my Dog there, which is 6 years old Rottweiler, to get sedated for getting her nails trimmed (she wont let anybody to touch her nails unless sedated- not aggressive, she is just scared to death ) and they kept telling me (twice)"Why I better don't go to get it done where i had it done before" to me this is RUDE. I understood they weren't confident enough to do it and thats is okay but don't tell me i should get it done where i did it before. I moved from Las Vegas, Nevada to here so of course i was trying to find somewhere close to home to get this done. At the end, they charged me $42.00 for just me being there and telling me they aren't able to it. that is call STEALING. They were checking the paperwork from Las Vegas Vet so they could copy the procedure.. I wonder if any other dog owner would feel confident to leave their pets with people that hesitate so much. ALL WRONG IN THIS PLACE.

Friendly staff, very helpful. Helped with our sick puppy. Took the time to explain treatment and medications. Even called days later to check up on our puppy to see how she was doing. Highly recommend.

I decided to take my dog, Dakota, to a different Vet, Tejas Vet, because she was suffering from a skin infection. The Vet assessed the issue, prescribed medication, a different medicated shampoo, and followed with a phone call in three days. The improvement was immediate and the improvement was 90% within two weeks. The fees are very reasonable, and the attention to the issues are great. The staff and the Vet are very attentive and professional. With the appointments, the waiting time is very minimal. I highly recommend and thank everyone associated with Tejas Veterinary Clinic. F. Very compassionate with a great price. My vet home for over 10 yrs.

Not currently happy with the service. Came to Tejas for seizure follow up from Er. Went in to Tejas and paid for the full works blood work, UA, office visit, and medication bc pharmacy was out. Recieved blood work results from a staff member since Dr was out. Dr called the next day just to tell me the exact same thing, but with no results for UA. Went in on Saturday and bought their recommended food from their clinic and left a detailed msg for the vet, who was out of office still, about my pet and him still having seizures and whether the meds are the right dosage since he acts drunk and weak after taking it. Was told the msg would be given to the Dr on Monday. So, here it is Monday and no call. So, after 2pm , I call and ask the lady who answered if the Dr is available so I may have my qtions answered. Come to find out, the lady says there was no note to call me regarding my dog. So, the girl at front desk who was left the msg doesn't even care for my pet getting the best possible answers for his care. So, I then i ask the lady who answered the phone the questions. She said I couldn't get anything answered or changed about meds or UA results until the Dr comes in on thursday. I asked if there was another Dr who could help me till the Dr that saw him comes in, and she said no that the other Dr's weren't familiar with conner or his issue. But arent clinic notes there for a reason? I thought that maybe another Dr could read the notes and know what happened to my pet and what he's on, but no, apparently another Dr can't help that way. But, i was then told by the lady if I go in right now and pay another $40 office visit another vet there can see him and help us. At this point , I'm feeling disappointed and I'm not sure if they have my pet's health or best interest in mind.

Dr. Hubert and the staff are very friendly and professional. They took great care with my dog, and answered/responded to all of my concerns. I look forward to a healthy/happy future with my boy Carlos with the help from Tejas Veterinarian Clinic.
