I had one of the best experiences at this clinic, my puppy was very sick and they helped me out so much. I went Sunday night not knowing what was going on with him and they answered all my questions and concerns and helped me get the treatment he needed. I would highly recommend coming here.

Only got 2 stars because they are always open and able to perform. The first employees you dream with seem to care more about ensuring payment and getting personal info rather than info about the animal or getting it help. And I understand there's a process to getting the animal helped but it doesn't have to be when it needs help. But to mention the people calling after drop-off, seemed nice.

Beyond satisfied with the service and experience we had here. Our rabbit was experiencing complications post surgery. It was a weekend when no exotic veterinarians were in office. This clinic agreed to see him regardless and did a wonderful job diagnosing and caring for him to get him through the weekend. Everyone was kind, prompt, clear with instructions, and very accommodating.

Dr. Montgomery saved my Gigi girl from her illness! The entire staff was very polite and attentive and took us in shortly after we arrived early New Years Day! If my Gigi ever has an emergency we will definitely be going back. Gigi was throwing up and was dehydrated. Dr. Montgomery did her assessment and immediately told me what was wrong with her and began giving her what she needed. Thank you Dr. Montgomery from the bottom of my heart and thank you to the staff that was working New Years Day!

I'm just a concerned person that read a post on Facebook on one of those animal sites and there's a woman desperately seeking veterinarian help but she has no money and she's trying to get money together, people say that they will call in donation money to the vet, she just has to tell them what vet, it's not going to be just a simple $100, that's why people are willing to call in donations not everybody can fork out $1,000 sometimes it might take 10 people to create that $1,000. $95 just to look at the animal, so much for having a compassionate heart at a job that you supposedly love, I understand that you can't do pro bono stuff all the time for everybody but your prices are sickening. No compassion even when somebody explains to you that there's a puppy with a broken jaw and blood coming out of its mouth, it's still $95 just to look at the puppy and then God knows what it's going costs for X-rays and surgery and everything else, thank you for being compassionate during the holidays. I know quite a few people that would be willing to give call in donations but your place don't even accept them because it's cause problems in the past you say, okay you can use that that's fine. Bah humbug to you too. Take all the Rich people's money that you get and choke on it. I say this because it's obvious that you only see dollar signs. ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

If I could leave a ZERO star review, I would. I just moved here from out of state and I my pup got very sick last evening...vomiting and bloody diarrhea. I called 7 different vet clinics and no one could get me in for at least 2 weeks. So I drove to this "emergency" clinic as was met at the door by a staff member who, wouldn't even let me in the facility. She told me that they "were closing soon" (I arrived 1 hour before they closed) and she would not be able to help me and my dog. I don't know about you, but when a place of business describes themselves as an emergency facility, that is EXACTLY what they should be. To be turned away is nothing short of despicable. I absolutely would NOT recommend that anyone who cares and loves their animal to take them to this awful place!

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is horrible. It is so monotonous. Like a factory line. They do not care. They are very quick to offer euthanasia and not long term care. There are no sort of board certificates from veterinary places like a normal vet clinic would have. I have a current complaint to the veterinary board. The staff is rude and cold. Only one person allowed “due to covid” which is ridiculous. We were forced to put our cat down because we didn’t have 3900 to clear a urinary blockage. And this blockage could “reoccur” which we would be in the same boat. My cat was 6 years old. He never had health problems but I was forced to put him down due to the cost of this place. I will never recommend this place. I will warn everyone of this place. I thought when people get into the vet field they are advocating for animals. Not automatically killing them. Stay far far away.

MOST INHUMAN PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN. Our old shephard was chocking so i was told to hurry , do paperwork and pay "1500" so we can dislodge what's in her throat. Unreal. First i don't have 1500 and second my dog is very old and suffered from major arthritis. So it was time to let her go. No choice. My daughter wanted to come in ( she's an adult) but they were telling at her to get out, only one person allowed in the clinic cause of covid. They act in there like covid just started and it's 2020. My son wanted to say goodbye to our old dog too cause we live together, it's all our dog....well he had to stay in the car( also an adult).. Vet said two words and was more interested at my daughter's mask which was croocked from her crying and being so upset. My dog scratch my hand with her tooth when she started shocking at home and i tried to help her. Well they are efficient at one thing. They are reporting it to the city cause it broke my skin. I have had this dog for 14 years, give me a break . The entire thing was so sad and so botched...by the time they finaly braught her to be put down she was soooo bad already. Her tongue was completely out and she was dying from suffocation. She was such a good dog. We had her for 14 years. Shame on that clinic... SHAME UPDATE: The city called me to ask if my dog was put in quarantine yet....the clinic failed to informe them that they put my dog down. I'm not surprised.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This is the most inhuman and factory like clinic as it gets. They don't care if you dog or pet is dying they will yell at you to put a mask on and get out because only one person per animal. The told us right away they wanted 1500 not payment options NOTHING....so we had to put our dog down right away ...the ladies up front and the vet were all disgusting how they treat people and are cold as ice ... they almost didn't let me go with my mom to see my dog get euthanized.. and yelled at me ..they finally let me in but yelled at me to go out on a mask..me and my mom are both vaccinated btw....when I went in the room to see my dog being put down with my mom the vet looked at me in disgust to pull my mask up even tho I was choking from crying that I'm losing our dog of 15 years....DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Took our 6 week old kitten, Layla, in for a worsening eye concern in the middle of the night. While our wait was a little longer than expected, the care Layla received from Dr. Montgomery and her vet tech, Marcus, was exceptional. Dr. Montgomery took her time with the visit and thoroughly explained everything. Would definitely return if ever needed.

I was so pleased with this emergency vet! My dachshund had a horrible cracked nail that was coming off and bleeding bad. I knew he was in so much pain so I drove here from Rockport hoping they could remove the nail and help with the pain. We did wait a while but once our baby was seen, nail removed, and bandaged I could care less about the wait! Thank you to the entire staff for being so friendly on a Friday night and helping my pup.

First off, THANK YOU Emergency Pet Clinic - Corpus Christi for your amazing customer service and taking such great care of my sweet fur baby. We were visiting from out of town on vacation when my 9 year old dog had an accident at the beach which resulted in a torn ACL and meniscus. We originally started the entire emergency vet visit at a different clinic, but after being lied to time and time again about our wait time while we sat in a hot car with a dog in severe pain for two and a half hours (with another four hours to go).. we made our way over to Emergency Pet Clinic where I wish I had come in the first place. We called and asked how the check in process worked, I checked in online, drove the 10 minutes over to the clinic from where we were, and within 15 minutes my dog was being wheeled back on the gurney. They kept us updated the entire time and informed us of prices/procedures prior to completing them so that we could consent to treatment. They gave him pain meds immediately so that he would not sit and suffer in pain while waiting to perform x-rays and labs. They took such good care of my sweet boy and I am forever grateful. I will warn you that the prices are steep, but that is to be expected from an emergency/after hours vet clinic. The peace of mind that my fur baby was stable and not in pain is worth the money spent! I would do it again in a heartbeat! Thank you Emergency Pet Clinic- Corpus Christi!

I literally just called about my Chihuahua, in late stage congestive heart failure who is struggling to breath as I type. The receptionist told me if I wanted her "treated" call VCA, if I want her "put down" the Dr would squeeze her in. I know there is nothing left to do for her, I knew I was calling to send her to the rainbow bridge. I responded with I know there is nothing anyone can do, I just can't match her suffer to breath until Monday. She hung up. I'm just hurt, sad, losing my baby of 17 years and this heartless pos just hung up on me. Who does that?? There are no words. ????????

A positive review for a good experience at this location! A couple of months ago, past midnight I was desperately looking for another 24hr location other than Oso so I decided to visit EPC for my cat that was fatigue and drooling at the mouth. The employees there were on the ball! I received phone calls immediately over the course of my cat’s check up, status updates and they made sure my correct information was filled out contact-less and easily through my phone. My cat’s condition was unknown so they offered several options of tests to be done and medication so I agreed for the reassurance of the health of my pet. The bill was racked up but they offer scratchpay which makes it easy to pay my bill through monthly payments then being overwhelmed. My cat probably filled up his belly full of grass that day but I’m thankful for the service!

RIPOFF ALERT: I took my pup in due to not being able to be seen by his primary vet. He was throwing up his food and wouldn't eat. I mentioned it could be worms but he had his Parvo shot and all vaccinations. The dog seemed healthy and they did a preliminary exam and Vet said they would have to do blood work and additional testing. After 4 hours the vet said there was a slight amount of blood in his stool which I had never seen and suggested I take him to a radiologist for an additional $400. They billed me $792.00 and an additional $29.00 to transfer records to my primary Vet. No medication was prescribed. I took my dog to my primary Vet and they were shocked at the bill I received and no diagnosis or meds. They detected he had Tapeworm from a flea and gave him antibiotics and three cans of Royal Canine Gastrointestinal dog food. Total bill a reasonable $184.00. This place has an inept Vet and for the amount I paid I was upsold on unnecessary charges. It's all about the profit and not honest integrity of the practice.

This pet clinic treated my cat on Sunday morning, April 4th (Easter). She had an upper respiratory infection-most likely viral with the possibility of a secondary bacterial infection. They were wonderful-I had a total wait and treatment time of a little over an hour, but I would have been understanding about it if it had been longer. They had a great system-online forms to complete, telephone consultation with both the vet tech and the veterinarian, and online bill payment at time of checkout. They currently do not let you go in with your pet, but more than make up for that with the telephone communication. They also provided good discharge instructions. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone needing emergency care for their pet. Thank you to the staff for the care they provided. And now, a week later, my cat is back in good health.

Wait well over 6 hours just for blood work and painkillers for my dog. They were unprofessional and seemed annoyed anytime I asked for a update. The prices are insane to! Definitely don’t recommend anyone go here. Never again will I come here. Terrible experience and terrible staff. I’m still currently sitting and waiting mind you I paid two hours ago.

I had to bring my dog in because he was attacked by another dog. He had surgery to repair lacerations and had 2 JP drains put in. I was told to take him to my local vet to remove the drains in 3 to 5 days. The drains would not work properly and the stitches did not hold. I called them back to tell them the drain was not working and they told me to bring him in but that I would have to pay for another one if that's what was needed. I already gave them 1800 dollars. I should not have to pay for another one that was not place properly or not working properly. The next day the drain was working again. So I ended up taking him to my regular vet. The surgeon there would not even touch him. He said whoever stitched him up and placed the drains did a horrible job and it is botched. He said the drains did not work like they should have. He said the surgery needs to be redone. He told me to take him back and have this place redo it and I should not be charged because such a bad job was done in the first place. I will update this review once this place opens at 6 today.

Had to take one of our cats there to get her looked at for possible constipation issues. Did the online check in, there came out promptly and took her back to check her over. The vet,Valerie, called with what she found on checking her over. We discussed treatment options and settled on a course of action. Making payment was quick and easy and you get a detailed bill. There then call when done to discuss medication and at home treatment. Maybel was back in her carrier and home before very long. Staff here is very friendly and helpful. No, you can't go with your pet but getting them taken care of is what matters. Will definitely recommend and use again.

Disgusting how animals are treated like cash cows instead of family members

They took forever, and tried to add a bunch of expensive tests. We called ahead, filled out all the paperwork before we got there, and it was still over an hour before they saw our dog. The dog was with them for 3 hours before they called us to tell us what was wrong. After telling us what we needed to do(giving us UTI meds), and we had already paid for everything, it was over an hour later that they finally gave us our dog. We were there for almost 5 hours.

Last Sunday night our cat was taken in for a rattlesnake bite. When we transferred to our regular vet for supportive care our doctor said getting antivenom early was a game changer. Zeus was able to come home Thursday night. Thank you EPC for early intervention that saved our boy.

I can honestly say I have had nothing but a great experience with this clinic, although a couple of visits have been sad to say the least. My first experience was about a year after we moved to the area. My 17 year old Maltese had a stroke. These people were so compassionate, and treated my baby with the utmost care. They not only were able to put my baby at peace, they were able to take care of the rest, making sure I had the prettiest pine box with her name and a mold of her paw print as well. I didn’t hesitate to take my baby’s mate to these wonderful people when he passed soon there after. Now I have matching pine box’s with two paw prints. But my review does not stop here. Yes there is more! Recently, my pot bellied pig seemed not quite right, and wouldn’t eat (not like a piggie at all, right?) he was lethargic, and I could tell he was a sick little fella, again I didn’t hesitate to have him visit this clinic. Even during the Covid crisis, these wonderful people met me at the door and helped my baby through a rough patch, and a horrible tummy ache. Thanks Doc! So, needless to say, when you have an emergency, this is definitely the place to trust, and lean on. We need more people like this in the world today.

EXPENSIVE!!! Unreasonable. They denied my request to allow me to use my own e-collar. They denied my request because it had been used. It’s made of plastic and can be easily sanitized.

I was referred here by our primary vet and I am so glad we were. My pup has been struggling for over a month with an unknown autoimmune disease. Within hours at EPC, she was diagnosed and on the way to recovery! So happy to have hope for a beautiful life with my gorgeous girl. Logistically: excellent communication. Easy check-in online. Made me aware of the cost estimate before proceeding. Highly recommend!
