we took our Sweet Nala, our pitbull mix to get spayed at PAAC 1/1/22. we picked her up at around 4pm and by 8pm she was bleeding profusely from incision & holding pressure didn't help stop the bleeding. we took her to Oso Animal Emergency and she was already lethargic. I've never had anyone ask me code status of my animals. Especially with my daughter beside me, there was no way I wasn't going to say to do everything to bring her back. They did an ultrasound and found her abdomen filled with fluid. They took her to surgery and found multiple colon lacerations, a bleeding uterus requiring cauterization, and a right ovary not ligated. she lost a lot of blood but survived through the night. The staff kept monitoring blood levels and ultrasound to make sure no more bleeding was noted. she had been on iv fluids, pain meds and antibiotics. She eventually got to go home thank God and to go back in 2 weeks for staples to be removed. I paid PAAC $207 to get her spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and nails trimmed. To turn around and pay $3635.03 to Oso to save my baby. Dr Anne Remmer is the vet listed on paperwork from PAAC. I understand complications from surgery, but this was a Chop Job done on her. How dare you be this awful. People put their trust in the care you give and yall do this. I spoke with Dr Remmer and she denies any accountability or responsibility. she said it may have been a preexisting condition. How do you live either yourself. Do not take your babies to PAAC. They may not survive.

One of the cheapest places in town to get your pet vaccinated all the people here are always very polite and always treat you really good sometimes they have a basket with free toys for the puppies and they usually help you if you don’t have enough money to pay for anything related to the health of your pet, Verry recommended Hi rate this place a five star auto five hopefully I don’t need to come that often but if I do I know it’s a place that I can trust and not spend too much money on thank you guys

They are so affordable, they have lower prices than the going rate of spade and neutering pets. They also offer vaccinations, worm and flea control. If they find other problems while undergoing surgery you can elect to give permission to correct it then.

This is a wonderful place to take your fur babies, they are quick and affordable. The staff is professional, and caring. They even manage to keep the property very clean, which is amazing because they have so many animals going in and out of that place . Thank you P.A.A.C

PAAC is awesome. The Veterinarian and staff are great and they are wonderful with pets. I've taken my dog for the last two years and will continue. I trust them with Geddy, my dog, and they always have the medications he might need. Can't go wrong with PAAC. Highly recommend them.

From beginning to end the process was smooth...you have to be placed on a waiting list..about 2 months..well worth it.. I brought in my 4 month old puppy that was dumped on us.. and she was spayed with no problems...thank you????

I appreciate what they do, but when the note they give you says if you don't pick up your pet by 5:15PM that they will charge you a $20 fee, so you get there at 5PM, and don't get your pet till 6:15, that's a little ridiculous. So can I charge you a fee for making me wait over an hour???

On a recent visit to have my pets vaccinated I was told that PAAC received a grant from Petco for Parvo Vaccination and all I had to do was full out a survey. The Parvo Vaccination is a two step vaccination so I would have to bring my pets back in 3 weeks. When I returned in 3 weeks to get the second half of the vaccination I was told that I was going to be charged for it because they ran out of grants after my pets has already received the vaccination. Now this makes no sense to me since one would assume that the grant would cover both of the vaccinations if it isvall one treatment. The staff was not helpful and basically forced me to pay what I was told would be free with out proving anything and just paying because they said so. This is very frustrating and upsetting. I kinda feel like I was robbed of $30 since it was either pay or no telling what would have happened if I refused these illegitimate charges. I will be contacting The Petco Foundation to get to the bottom of this.

I love that they try to help people who can't really afford to pay the full price. So they got good prices for people who can't afford it. They take good care of your pet also. So people have patience because they have to set up an appointment for you and if they don't respond right away keep on trying until you get an appointment. Don't give up.???? Please spay and neuter your pet. Corpus has a lot of stray dogs some people just don't know how to take care of their animals.

Everyone at this place are so kind and helpful. I had a lot of questions for scheduling appointments for 3 cats. They never got impatient with me. I appreciate their help very much. My husband brought the cats to their appointment and said that everyone there was very nice and helpful and the facility was very clean. Again thank you very much to each and everyone at PAAC.

Great place to people who can not afford an actual vet office. This place is very busy. You need to be here at least 2 hours before they open because the line is long and people are waiting. You also need to listen as they call your number out load. Be sure to bring your snacks, water and toys because you will wait but at least your dog gets the help it needs. Absolutely recommend this place. Staff is very very nice and informative. They tell you everything and do not hide anything.

For the size of the facilities and facility I was impressed. Every likable staff and they are effecient. Also, the cost was probably the best in the city of Corpus Christi. The initial wait was a little long though.
