The doctors and staff at the Animal Emergency Clinic of Conroe did an excellent job taking care of our dog when she had an emergency in the middle of the night. When we got there, they were ready for us and did everything they could to figure out what was wrong with her. They were thorough and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. We called so many times to check on our girl. The doctors were always available or called us back quickly to respond to our questions and requests. They narrowed down the potential issues and referred us to a specialist quickly. Thank you for helping us with our pup during a scary time and leading us to the right specialist to get her the treatment she needs.

I do not recommend this clinic. All they want is your money. Their very expensive an insensitive to you and your pet.

Staff is very knowledgeable and kind. They basically attended me from the moment i stepped into the location answered every question i had. The offered different payment options instead of making you feel guilty for not having the money. The location is very clean and i also liked that they took my dogs vitals the moment i walked in most locations i have been to make you wait with sick pet in lobby or car but they instantly brought them back and monitored and assisted based on urgency. The brought my baby Milo back to health for me and i will never regret driving over 40 minutes to get to this place. Thank you for everything you did for me and my pet!

Great customer service. The ladies at the front desk helped me out to with a dog that I found trying to get the microchip info and give him back to the right person.

Took our little Jack Russell at 2:30am on Christmas Day and the doctor and gentleman at the front desk were so incredibly kind and informative. The Dr. Is so soft spoken and you can tell she truly cares for her patients. We drove a ways to get there, but I’m glad we did. They had a rough Christmas grave shift the night we were there but they took the task ahead like champs! P.S I learned the hard way to never give your dogs bones of any kind! My dog made it thru, but it could of been far worse.

My cat had a urinary obstruction a few days ago and reobstructed today. Very attentive staff who took my baby straight to the back to be looked at. They cleared the blockage and while it was pricy, it was about what I expected to pay for emergency services. Thank you to all the staff and Dr. Hummel for taking great care of my Andy! I was almost in tears on the drive to the clinic and was impressed with how quickly they took care of my boy. Thank you all again!

Last night my cat was dehydrated and hadn't eaten, couldn't drink. This was the third farthest from us distance wise but I felt the most comfortable based on reviews and responses to those reviews. I'm so glad this is where we chose to go. Emergency vets are money so that is unfortunate for many people but something that can't be avoided. I appreciated the time they gave people and being compassionate about figuring out money. They didn't make people feel bad which goes a huge way and one of the reasons I chose them. They were attentive to my baby, came and woke us up when we had fell asleep in the car and my phone didn't wake me. I was half asleep talking to the vet- I have a sleeping disorder so it's hard for me to wake up and coherent and they were very compassionate and not short with me. My baby is doing much better now and we may need to do follow up stuff with our vet but the emergency is over and he isn't dehydrated and able to eat and drink right now. I am so thankful. Everyone I interacted with was amazing.

Dr Heidi Zinser is the best! The staff is wonderful and compassionate. I would recommend them without hesitation.

All of the veterinarians and staff who worked with my cat, Buddy, were fantastic. They were all willing to give time to explain everything that was going on, and were friendly and supportive.

They are about money. I purchased a puppy whom I day later found out she had parvo. I was given a 90% chance for survival so I paid the enormous fee. Had I known her chances were none would. Have done what was humane.. the pain and grief will never be forgotten. Please be cautious.

Not very caring, they didn't give very good options for care.

Took my dog to get 3 or 4 stitches and they made us wait 3 hours to do a simple check up and we hadn’t even spoke to the doctor they hadn’t started the simple stitches that even I could do they wanted to charge us 1800 dollars for a few stitches this is ridiculous please take your animal else where they just care about the money they don’t care about the animal not to mention that we took our dog elsewhere and they charged us 300 dollars this is way too much 1800 just to do some stitches ridiculous

I will never trust these people with my animals again.

I recently had to put our baby of 16 years down at this facility. The Dr. and staff were so compassionate and professional. It was a hard thing to do the staff was very informative and patient with us in making out decisions. They gave us all the time we needed and then checked on us after. They did the best they could do. Days later we received a card from the staff. I would definitely recommend this facilty you can definitely see they love what they do. Thanks

Compassionate, knowledgeable doctors. Such an amazing experience in such a hard time. Some of the best vets I’ve encountered. My only complaint is that I overheard the staff talking badly about other customers while I was waiting in an exam room. I hate that. You should never complain about paying customers going through a hard time. I’m still giving five stars because of the amazing doctors and attention my dog received.

I never thought I would be posting a review like this, but here we are. We had to take our fur baby here as an emergency visit the other night. It was extremely scary and unexpected. We were absolutely devastated when they told us we had no other options but to let her go. They allowed us as much time we needed to say goodbye before and after. They were very calm, generous, compassionate, and explained all of our options. I have been in a similar situation where the staff were horrible and it made that experience so much more traumatic for us than it had to be. They made her passing so peaceful and I am very thankful we took Maggie there to cross the rainbow bridge.

This compassionate crew was able to give my family and our sweet Lucky kitty peace. Thank you for stepping up when we are at a loss and handling our beloved pets with kindness.

This place is amazing! I took my puppy in after his health seemed to suddenly decline yesterday night and they continuously updated me about him. His blood work was abnormal so Dr Foster went over the things that were either too high or too low and explained each of them and what it could be. By the time we were ready to go home he was still a little lethargic but definitely way better than when I had brought him in! This morning he is back to his happy and playful self! They really listen to you about your concerns and thoughts about your pet. I hope I never have another medical emergency with any of my pups but if I do I’d definitely make the trip back here.

These are the greatest group of people I have ever met. We had to take our beloved German Shepherd in on an emergency and she ended up being euthanized. Their compassion and kindness will be with us through this very difficult time. They made her end very quiet and peaceful. We appreciate Dr Heidi and their entire staff.

This is a wonderful Animal hospital and clinic. They made having to make the difficult decision to put our fur baby out of her misery as easy as it possibly could be. They were all very empathetic and sweet. We definitely recommend this loving practice.

We faced the difficult decision to euthanize our sweet rescue this past weekend after 2 years of surgeries and complications (treated by our regular vet.) It was so very heartbreaking but the vet at this clinic was compassionate and kind, as was the rest of the staff. We are grateful for the time and courtesy as we said our goodbyes. We received a lovely condolence card at home several days later. We highly recommend the services of this emergency clinic and the fine staff.

We had been turned away by 2 other Clinics in Houston on I-10 ! our little girl tiny toy poodle “Baby” was very sick..!When we arrived Tech “Bryson” who we talked to on our way”!came outside to get our baby and took her inside immediately.. They are the kindest most professional people i’ve ever seen. We knew our little Baby was in the right place. It was a meant to be.. God guided us there. We knew she was in good hands.. They had to keep her 2 nights .. She was very sick .. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this Clinic .. they are wonderful .. I cannot begin to thank the veterinarians and staff at this clinic for saving my elderly mother’s 12-year old dog. They were able to go into surgery on the same day (that night!) that I brought her in- after the tests that we ordered showed that she had a life-threatening tumor on her liver. One week after this huge surgery, she was like a new dog! She’d dropped weight after the surgery because it took a while for her appetite to come back. But once she came home and was able to rest and recover, she had renewed energy and spirit. I don’t know how my 87-year old mom would’ve taken her loss, but thanks to the doctor who performed the surgery- long past the time that he should’ve been off his shift at work- my mother never had to go through that pain. We are forever grateful for giving our pet a new life!

Last night we lost our beloved little guy. The staff and doctor on shift were kind, compassionate, honest and sympathetic. Losing a fur baby is NEVER easy, but they made it as easy and loving as possible. Thank you guys, from the bottom of our hearts. Radar thanks you too. Ride high over the rainbow bridge sweetheart.

Today, Boujee and I became repeat customers of Animal Emergency Clinic of Conroe (unfortunately, Boujee got into a scuffle with a dog 10x her size this morning). Fortunately, we got excellent care from Dr. Shepherd and very friendly service from clinic staff, just as we did the last time we needed doggy emergency care. There was very little wait, and Boujee was taken in (I waited in the car because of necessary covid precautions, but was updated via phone every time there was a new development in Boujee’s condition or care plan. Very fair prices as well. The initial exam is very inexpensive, and Boujee’s medications were very affordable as well. Hopefully we won’t need to become third-time visitors, but if we ever need emergency vet care again, we know where to go.

A big thank you to all the staff here especially Dr. Zinser, Dr. Shepard, Dr. Hummel and Dr. McGinley for their awesome care of my puppy, Ruby. Ruby is a 11 week old English Bulldog and was diagnosed with Parvo and had a rough 8 days in the hospital here. All staff worked tirelessly to get her better and home to us. They went above and beyond to assist in anyway possible to make her feel better.

Excellent service! All of the staff was professional and kind. This was our puppy first visit and we're so happy with the outcome and the affordable service. Thankyou you all!
