This is one of the best places I've been for training! They even board! My sweet Harley is comfortable there & enjoys working! He's gone from absolutely no manners to manners & being a lot more calm! The staff are awesome! Even more awesome because they know I'm a single mom of 2 special needs children that do have to come along sometimes. I praise them for their patience with not just my dog but my kids as well, especially my 2 year old. He's the most challenging.

I paid almost $2,000 for training here. My dog went to the 2 weeks of classes. They forgot to have me sign a waiver till the second week. I scheduled my class days and would show up and they would say she wasn’t on the schedule. I never once received a phone call or email once that 2 weeks was up. I’m a busy college student and for that amount of money I should have gotten phone calls following up on my dog and when to schedule the next 2 private lessons.

I absolutely love sit means sit!! Lilly is the sweetest and always makes me feel so confident leaving my dog with them (he does daycare today two days a week). Her and the other staff are so nice and always have good things to say about Bradley. I love their pupdates, and have never had a problem with them. They are also very reasonably priced for day care and boarding compared to other places around the bcs area.

Intially, I came to SMS so I could address my dog's separation anxiety. I was unable to leave him alone for any amount of time as he would tear or scratch everything but his toys. His time at SMS has taught him independence and basic commands that encouraged me to continue training him further. My family decided that he would never be a controllable dog and handed him off to me after the first few months. He, of course, does have his stubborn streaks but has become a well behaved dog that is unrecognizable from his first day. Working as much as I do, I put him in daycare so that he can socialize and get his energy out. The best peace of mind is being able to watch his excitement towards the employees when I drop him off for daycare. Having never owned a dog before, its been immensely helpful to have knowledgeable trainers to learn from and I know I can go to any of them with a "no dumb questions" mindset. I will continue to work with SMS now because they've earned my pups heart.

My email confirmations from previous visits /recent reservations show they altered my information on file without notice a few days prior to boarding and then denied entry to the dog upon arrival. They demanded vaccine records that they had already confirmed verbally over the phone the day of reservation and has had on file since May 2021. It's possible they don't realize technology documents changes for everything, but the staff is genuinely in need of adult supervision over the age of 25. Facility isn't the same after recent staff changes.

I boarded my pup for 5 days, and when we picked up Lola, we saw at least 20+ extremely large fire ant bites all over her neck, shoulders, and armpits. We directly went to the hospital, and even the Vet told us that this was unacceptable and that sit means sit should have to pay for all the fees. I went to go speak to them but they were being uncooperative and saying they wouldn’t help. I wish I could post pictures, so you all could see the extent of the damage done to her. She is on 3 different types of medicine, and not doing well. Please do not use this company! Very unreliable!

Although I didn’t follow through with their puppy package. Due to life events occurring in the near future. SMS was very helpful and Communicative towards me and my furbaby. I paid a larger deposit for the training and gave me a call that it was refunded! Awesome service! I was referred by 2 friends and they had nothing but great experiences with SMS. Thank you guys.

We have been so impressed with SMS College Station. Their staff is so attentive and patient. They love all the dogs so much and are always willing to do whatever they can to make each dog successful and benefit from their training. I am constantly amazed at the staff's expertise and training suggestions. Our dog has learned so much and really been successful with their guidance and training! We especially love Olivia and Kendall!

I LOVE sit means sit... maybe.. a little more than hank... I definitely trust them with my furry friend and will forever bring hank here for daycare and boarding! Pricing is beyond reasonable and they take great care of hank and have created a home away from home for him ❤️ Love you guys so much!!!

My dog was more than six months old when I took him to this facility in Bryant. The whole staff greeted my dog and I as if we were family or like long lost friends. We settled on a three week training program which at first I thought was a little over priced but my dog needed obedience training bad, a little hyper did not describe my pet! The end result was amazing, his/my trainer was fantastic, spending ample amount of time with both of us to understand all the commands. I would recommend this facility to any one of my friend knowing they will be very happy with the end result.

We are very happy with Sit means Sit services, our dog Kuma loves to visit it and spend time with the staff and socializing with other dogs. Kuma received the two weeks training, which has been very helpful in building his personality. We highly recommend Sit means Sit! Oscar

I had posted about a year ago about how amazing sit means sit is, but boy was I wrong. I used sit means sit twice. The first time was great, we got down the basics of dog training. He was amazing. I wanted him to be trained to be a service dog and I was told that a board and train would be the best to get him to his fullest potential. I got him back from his board and train and everything seemed fine until I got him to group classes. He started lunging at other dogs. When we returned home from college, he went after dogs he had previously been fine with. He had never had any kind of behavior like this before the second training session. They seemed to think that it was just a phase. I worked with them in private lessons and nothing they did helped. When he went after another dog and accidentally got the owner (it was a scratch), we were forced to pay even more money to quarantine him. Overall it cost thousands of dollars. He has his basics but is now unpredictable and I wish I had never trusted them with my dog.

Great place to have your dog trained and to take for daycare or boarding. My dog Duke absolutely loves it here. Great training staff and multiple days for training classes.

We were in an on vacation and was rear ended and my Kimber (my dog) Was in thee back of the car, she was so stressed out I Ent to pick her up took her to my vet and he said she was suffering from PTSD and put her on Xanex. I heard about Sit Means Sit so I took her to them , they recommend the board and train. So I let them train her. Could not believe the difference in her when I Went to pick her up. She was happier calmer and loved her trainers. All the ladies that work there are kind, compassionate, loving. Kimber especially took a shine to Olivia and Lilly . She is doing so much better and no longer takes medication. They really worked wonders with her. Thanks for giving me back my happy girl.

My dog, Chloe, just graduated from the 2 week day camp training program today. I adopted my 6 month old Chloe from a shelter in Houston and she had a few challenges to overcome. After bringing Chloe to Sit Means Sit I can proudly say that she has regained the confidence that she lacked after being a stray in Houston put into a shelter at such a young age. Chloe was attacked by another dog while she was a stray, which caused her to be extremely nervous and fearfully aggressive/reactive towards other dogs. After her time at Sit Means Sit she is now playing with dogs off leash and enjoys going on walks with other dogs, no problem! The staff at Sit Means Sit were very kind, accommodating, and patient with Chloe (and myself). She has greatly enjoyed her time here and I am absolutely sure she is going to miss all of the amazing people and dogs she has become friends with there. I will be taking her back for group classes and boarding. Thank you Sit Means Sit for everything!

I enjoyed our outing in an environment that was not typical to one that Liath or myself knew. This was a perfect opportunity to test Liath’s skills learned as well as areas that needed improvement with the aid of a Sit Means Sit instructor. Many thinks for these unique experiences to better ground and work to improve Liath’s training. I love them!

I loved sit means sit! When I got my shelter baby he was nervous and a tad aggressive with new people and dogs. I was so nervous to start training because I did not know how he would react, but the folks at sit means sit truly helped me to gain the confidence in my dog that I needed. He quickly adjusted to their training and thrived in the environment. My dog today is still nervous, but I know how to correct it with the help of my trainers. He has come a long way, and sit means sit has been the sole reason for that.

Can't beat Sit Means Sit boarding. It's affordable and my 2 dogs are always happy to arrive and stay. I love the "Pupdates" that are emailed to me during their stay.

Loved this program so much. Everyone was so kind and helpful, and loved on my fur baby the same way I would. I hate leaving my dog, but if I had to do it again I would definitely do it with them. Used them for boarding, and training, and they did a phenomenal job training not only my dog, but also me. 10/10 highly recommend these awesome folks.

Nox was extremely trying and full of energy (read: chews on everything, barks non-stop, refuses to listen). We were not creating the bond that we wanted with him and had no idea what to do. We decided to try the board and train program in 2017 and by the first video update we received, we could tell how much of a difference it had made. We love the trainers and the advice they give when we are working through issues. I also love that we get unlimited classes to work on issues with the package we purchased. It has kept us both accountable for keeping up with his training. We board Nox here as well and never worry when we have to leave because he is always well taken care of.

Sadie and I could not be any more pleased with the quality of service and training we have received from the staff at Sit Means Sit. If you are thinking about adopting and are unsure, please do you and yourself a,favor and go talk to them first.

Our dog Piper was very active when we brought her to be trained. She wouldn’t listen or obey at all . Since being home she is much calmer and will listen to our commands . She still needs work but that will come in time.
