Steve, our guinea pig, began going to All Pets to get his nails trimmed about a year ago. Recently, we discovered he had a broken tooth and we were concerned. Everyone was so kind from the first phone call and very informative. We were …

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Rupley and her staff! My little cockatiel got sick a couple months ago, and I was so relieved to know that there’s an avian vet nearby. Dr. Rupley was able to tell very quickly what was wrong with him and recommended only the tests she knew were necessary. Her staff showed me how to administer his oral medication and nasal flush, and I could just tell he felt better within a few days! I was given diet advice, as well, and now my cockatiel looks happier and healthier than ever! So grateful for the folks here, and I’m 100% bringing my pet back here for routine checkups and if any problems arise in the future.

Dr. Rupley is the best veterinarian I’ve ever been to. She genuinely cares about your pet, is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. She and her staff are always super nice and never have an attitude. Bonus is she’s avian certified so I can take my birds to her too.

I used to take my macaw here for her checkups and any medical needs. However, in my last visit, I had the most horrific experience ever and would warn anyone to stay away if you care about the safety of your pet. Apparently, they used metal tools to try to pry my bird's break open. This resulted in busting my birds beak on both sides. When I came in to pick up my bird, she was handed over with blood dripping from her cracked beak. The most appalling part, is there was no remorse. No apology. Nothing to make it right. I'm pursuing my legal options now, but I implore any client of this vet to seriously search for someone more caring and empathetic about their practice. Feel free to reach out for pictures if you want proof, as I documented it all at the time. Completely unprofessional. Edit: I wanted to respond to the response from the vet. That apology falls on deaf ears since your office took a completely different approach when you handed me a bloody bird to take home. I don't accept the apology and stand by my statement. I wouldn't trust this office with a plant much less an animal. Completely unprofessional until you call them out in a public forum.

We thought we would have to tell our sweet little Dragon goodbye. Thankfully, Dr. Rupley's care and expertise gave us the option to put him through surgery and give him back all the quality of life that he had lost. He is now fully recovered from surgery and so incredibly healthy. At 22 months old, I know that every day is borrowed time. I am so thankful to the AllPets staff for giving us this time with our sweet boy. My only complaint I'd that they are so very expensive, even compared to other vets. But, there is nobody else I would trust with my hamsters.

I trust this staff implicitly. Drs Rupley and Hilliard are competent and extraordinarily empathetic. They are also excellent communicators, able to make pet owners understand what is wrong, what has to be done, the benefits and drawbacks of different courses of action, and how the treatment works. You don't feel like you're helplessly taking an expert's word; you feel like you've learned enough to make an informed choice. I've found that rare in doctors for any species. The technical staff are wonderfully kind and gentle. And everyone in that place loves each of their patients individually and deeply. I will be taking my furred family here for years to come, and I can't imagine going anywhere else for a compassionate end for one of my companions.

These people are bizarre. My normal vet returns my pet to my car and then takes my credit card. Or hands me my pet and then I pay. This place literally holds your animal hostage until you pay. You are assumed to be some kind of penniless thief when entering their establishment (if you wish to generously call it that). This is not only a pathetic way to treat customers, but it demonstrates that they care very little about the pet, and are solely focused on financial incentives (which is a fine goal for a business, but it is horrible customer service to convey that goal so blatantly and shamelessly to a customer and put that ahead of the actual telos of medicine), to the point where they will disrespect you.

My Catahoula Leopard was hit by a car on a Monday and would have been able to be seen the same day, however, because he was not in dyer stress, I opted to have him seen that Tuesday. He was checked out with no issues and major concerns. The Team at All Pets was very attentive and super informative about each step they were taking to care for my baby!

The vet really took the time to explain to me what was going on and carefully went through treatment options, what they accomplished, and their prices, and the vet tech did a great job showing me how to continue care for my snake at home. Really happy overall!

My little cockatoo had a prolapse and of course it was during COVID and an emergency! But they handled everything professionally and ... she is doing very well! Thank you Dr. Rupley and all of your courteous staff!

I am not one to leave negative reviews so please keep in mind I have thought for years now before speaking on this situation but I feel it needs to be shared so other pet owners don’t suffer the way I did. I took my sugar glider here to get a full exam and microchip. When I was there the vet told me he was the healthiest, prettiest, sweetest sugar glider she had met and I was doing a great job with him. For his microchip insertion and to have tests run on him they needed to put him under anesthesia. I went to pick him up and about an hour later they called and said one of their tests came back inconclusive and asked if I could bring him back to run it again. I did so and they put him under again. When I picked him up for the second time he was very out of it but they assured me it would wear off and was normal. For hours he could barely move and moved sideways around his cage. By morning he had passed away. I immediately called them and informed them of what happened and they asked me to bring his body in. I did and I was pretty inconsolable the entire time. They told me their first test showed that he may have had kidney failure but that unfortunately the second test was inconclusive and they were not sure if that was the case or not. Why did they tell me the first test was inconclusive if it had in fact said kidney failure? I understand wanting to be sure but blatantly lying to try to ward off worry was unprofessional. I asked her what could have caused him to pass. She admitted to me that the second round of anesthesia could have caused him extra stress and if he did have kidney failure that it could have sped up the process and resulted in him passing away. I then asked her if she knew on the tests he may have kidney failure and if they were admitting how a second round of anesthesia so soon could have been fatal to him why they would do that to him and have me bring him back so soon? I was trusting them to know what to do as I am not a vet. This is where the mood changed. You could tell she had made a mistake admitting that and knew I was realizing they had made a mistake. I asked for a refund of my $300 and they would not give me a refund. I consulted with some friends in law and they told me if they had given me a refund and if I had decided to take them to court over his death it could be used as an admission of guilt so that is probably why they would not give me a refund. At the time I was at TAMU as a student as this was about four years ago and I had no money to even attempt a lawyer or pursue them in court so I just mourned in silence and accepted that they wouldn’t give me a refund and I couldn’t change that pip was gone. Now that I am older I feel it’s important people know what happened to my pip. She seemed more concerned about me maybe taking her to court than doing the right thing and refunding my money on my pet she had very likely just fatally treated. My pip was fine when he walked in and 24 hours later was dead based on their poor decisions and lack of care for both their pet client and me as the pet owner. I have read the responses they have written to other 1 star reviews years after what happened to me and all I see is them not taking accountability and claiming they will “better their team going forward with the info the reviews are mentioning” but it seems nothing has changed. You all should care less about being sued and more about doing the right thing for your clients, in my case you owed me my money back and you all were in the wrong 100%. I did everything right as a pet owner. I would appreciate if you did not reply to this review the way you do others by acting like you’ll change your ways when you really will not and very clearly come off as only caring about money and legalities instead of doing the right thing. He should have lived a full lifespan not had it cut short. He deserved better than what he got from you. Do not go here.

This is our second time coming to Dr. Ruply all the way from Houston and we continue to be very pleased. Everyone there is super nice and efficient. They show true concern for our pets and also try their best to make it affordable when possible. You will not be disappointed.

I called and told them that I needed them to see my rabbit and that it was an emergency. They told me to call when I got there. I did and the phone would not even ring it just kept saying busy. So I frantically went and knocked on the door. They took him in and told me that there would be a charge of around $35 and another of $79 for and emergency fee and exam fee. I was also told that I would be called to approve any further charges. They then had me sign a form and of course I did as I was hysterical about my rabbit. I received a call later saying that he did not make it and the bill would be $500. I was not expecting the bill to be that high especially since I was never called to approve anything. I couldn’t afford to pay the entire bill but obviously I desperately wanted to take my poor boy home and give him a proper burial. I went back and forth for over an hour with them before they finally released his body to me. I had to pay half up front and agree to pay the other half within a week. I was also told that “[the] manager was really working with me”, as if I was being offered some mercy. After they took my payment he was brought out to me in an amazon box. Losing a pet is hard enough. This Veterinarian made it so so much harder. I will say however, I did appreciate the sympathy and kind words from the staff as well as the flowers they left in the box with him. I just feel like no one should be put through this, I understand businesses need to collect money to operate but I do not feel like I was treated very fairly or with any mercy in this very difficult time.

When we originally got our cats we went to College Hills (the closest location to campus) but after needing them to fill out international travel forms we found College Hills to be very rude and - I feel bad saying this - lazy. We would give them the forms to fill out and they would refuse, saying “oh its not necessary” when we simply needed them to fill out vaccine information. It seems they were very ill-organized which is why they struggled so much to date and sign our paperwork. After our fourth trip for the same form (and they didn't even offer one of the vaccines the country required) we decided to try All Pets instead. Over the phone, All Pets is very courteous and able to answer all of questions in a timely and professional manner (it felt like a whole new world!) It was such a sigh of relief to put our cats in their trustworthy care. The location itself is very nice and well taken-care-of, with more focus on those tiny cleanly details than the College Hills competitor. On site the All Pets employees are just as pleasant and helpful - even during the stress and confusion of COVID-19. Today I was helped by a wonderful staff member named Lina (or Leena? - I didn't get the spelling) and she was so kind, gracious, and went above and beyond to make sure not only our cats were comfortable, but that she could fill out all the paperwork and not miss anything. She even called to double-check we had everything. We never mentioned our College Hills experience to the staff of All Pets. It seems that on their own free will All Pets love to go above and beyond for their clients and serve their pets the best they can. Their price is on par with other vets in the area (expensive lol) but I really appreciate their hard work and would pay even more for the peace of mind these competent and kind employees guarantee. 10/10 recommend, some of the best service of my life. They treat your pets, and your situation, as if it were their own.

They were incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with. Took care of my cat and went above and beyond to educate me on things I can do for her during healing and at home for some of her other issues. They also have great safety measures in place with the current health situation and were very attentive. Even called throughout my cats surgery to keep me updated on changes and how she was doing. This was my first experience with them and I can 100% say this is my new veterinarian for all my pets.

The whole staff as well as veterinarian are just amazing and wonderful people. They helped me through a hard time with my dog and I appreciate everything they’ve helped me with! Big shout out for Lena for always working so hard with a smile on her face! (Even tho there is a mask, you know)

This is one of the best vets to take a sugar glider. They know how to handle and treat gliders and are able to do surgery inexperienced vets can't. They're good with standard pets as well. Probably the most qualified vet I have ever used.

Y’all were amazing and I really appreciated how thorough your exam was and how much you obviously care about our pets! You even took the time to demonstrate how to administer the meds and how to hold Dewey (our budgie) to do so. Your vet tech, Dalton was fantastic and Dr. Rupley was nice enough to talk to us herself after the diagnosis. You gave us an abundance of other good information about caretaking that shows you go above an beyond as a vet practice too. I’m so relieved to have found your vet clinic to care for my precious budgies!! Thank you to your whole team at All Pets for your hard work! Highly recommend these guys!

I called around to a few places trying to find an avian vet, and I’m so glad I found this place! It was after lunch and they fit me in right away since it was an emergency. Everyone I talked to was so friendly and helpful. The vet, I wish I remembered her name, took the time to talk to me and answer all my questions. Cannot recommend this place enough!

I highly recommend this practice. Even though the outcome of the visit was very sad, the care and compassion we received was amazing. My bearded dragon got very sick very fast. Once they heard it was an urgent visit, they were able to book an appointment for me the same despite being fully booked. The staff and the vet were super pleasant. The beardie was very sick and in pain so the most human thing was to put him out of his misery :( I was very emotional, Dr R was so sweet and gave me a hug. I chose to take him home with me, they placed him in a box, on a towel with a little flower. I thought that was very thoughtful. And on top of all that, a few weeks later we received our dragon's paw and tail prints with his name plus a card with personal messages from the whole office. How kind is that? My 10 years old and I were very touched by this. And now she has a little keepsake of her beloved friend.

Under the circumstances of things being under all COVID-19 safety measures I don't think there really is much that could have been done at this time to make our visit any better. I would have loved to actually meet Dr. Rupley in person & go over her first visit with my bird. Luckily enough she made a phone call to me afterwards & discussed everything with me & it was not a rushed call & when I picked Flo up her report she sent home was detailed in everything we discussed over the phone. I am just grateful that All Pets is open & able to take care of my bird. The staff is friendly & Dr. Rupley is very thorough. I will definitely be using this office for all of my birds needs & highly recommend All Pets to anyone who is looking for a Vet. It was great to find out that Flo is a happy healthy bird.

All Pets is amazing!! I went there for the first time this morning for an emergency visit because my dog had an eye injury, but I will be making this my normal vet!! Dalton, the technician, was AWESOME!! He was super nice and responsive and made me and my pup very comfortable. Dr. Rupley was also AMAZING!! I did not get to meet her because of precautions being taken due to COVID-19, but I spoke with her on the phone and she was incredibly nice and helpful. They were very transparent about how much everything would cost and they were WAYYYYY more affordable than any other vet I called about an emergency appointment. I called at 8:30 this morning and got her in, got her checked on, got her diagnosed, and got her medication all before 9:30. They are AWESOME and I can't recommend then enough!

I want to be short and to the point instead of going through every single thing that went wrong. That would take too long. Every time I had to take my little dude back up there for futher complications I paid my balance in full. I paid thousands of dollars. Suddenly they tell me I have a balance, which infuriated me after thousands of dollars. Apparently they put me on a payment plan that I did not authorize. They decided my two male, adult small pets could go in the same holding space. They should NOT be in one space and they should have known that; I brought them in two containers! One attacked the other and ripped his leg open; he needed stitches and they gave him pain meds. They did all of this before even telling me there was an injury. I understand emergencies, but again an unauthorized action on their part. Some of it, honestly, just doesn't *seem* right. They filled him chock full of antibiotics over and over. They gave me a few different sedatives for him, the last of which was a heavy opiod, they said. I gave him everything the way they prescribed it. His last visit was draining an abcess. On the way home from his last visit he was acting kind of top heavy.. Falling over himself.. The abcessed area looked completely mutilated. He died the next day. It doesn't even need said that I don't recommend taking your pet here. This place fills me with fury. Two stars because they kept me in the loop *fairly* well and because they never gave up on trying more things to get my guy healthy. I just can't help but think all the back and forth and his condition not getting better was because they didn't know what they were doing, but I tried to look for A reason to give them more than one star.

We recently purchased a tortoise from a local pet store for my 10 year old daughter. She has been researching tortoises for two years. We were so happy and as good pet parents we took Flash, (our tortoise) to Dr. Rupley at All Pets. I’m so glad we did!!!! Flash was very sick. The All Pets team correctly identified and treated a number if infections and conditions with expertise and compassion. They even sent my daughter pictures of Flash eating so she wouldn’t worry when he had to stay overnight. We are still rehabbing this sweet guy. I could be more thankful for the excellence and compassion as well as the support we found at All Pets!!! Give them a chance and they will wow you too.
