Making the decision to euthanize your pet is heart wrenching to say the least. I wanted our girl to be in the comfort of her home, surrounded by familiar sounds and smells and held in the tender arms of those who loved and cherished her. When I learned of "Lap of Love" services I was convinced that I had found what I was needing. Dr. Lauren Clement came to our home, acquainted herself with ourselves and our pet before she proceeded. I personally am so grateful for the time allotted to us as a family and the detailed explanation of the procedure and what we could expect. Only when we acknowledged that we were ready did she proceed. I particulary appreciated understanding how the Dementia had affected our sweet girl and it was at that moment I felt true peace that I was making the right decision for her. Thank you everyone at Lap of Love and especially Dr. Lauren. We will always remember your kindness to us and to our sweet Mary. She transitioned to the arms of Jesus without stress, pain or struggle. We are at peace with our decision. Thank You. Blessings, Patricia Templeton - Perry Templeton and Nicole Templeton McElroy Cedar Park, Texas

Very loving service (at home pet euthanasia). We had to say good bye to our doggo and chose lap of love and we are glad we chose them.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I picked up the phone to make the appointment, all the way to the very end, the staff treated us with compassionate support and kindness. This is a difficult time, filled with sadness and grief, but Lap of Love made everything so easy and seamless, which meant more to us than words can describe. On the day of our appointment all that mattered was our sweet puppy Boy. Dr. Kelly was absolutely amazing. She is so compassionate, patient and kind - a true angel. We never felt rushed or pressured and she was so sensitive to our needs as well as our dog’s. It meant so much to be comfortable in our own home as we walked our baby over the rainbow bridge. I can’t recommend Lap of Love highly enough. They are absolutely worth every penny!

I cannot express my gratitude enough to Dr. Jen Our angel, Jake, was nearing the end of his days and we knew it was time to say goodbye. We honestly didn’t know what to expect, but to have someone who was so compassionate and loving to our boy in his final moments made this all somewhat bearable. Dr.Jen explained everything from start to finish and I couldn’t imagine having anyone else there with us during that moment. Thank you Dr.Jen, for being there for us.

The folks working here are truly angels on Earth. This was one of the worst days ever, and the team here made it bearable and helped us during a terrible time. I couldn't be more pleased with our experience and highly recommend this team for anyone who has to help their fur baby cross the rainbow bridge. The compassion, empathy, and personal care we received was amazing. Thanks for helping make such a dark day a little brighter.

Dr. Lauren Clement was amazing. My cat Torta was my spirit animal and Dr. Clement totally understood this and treated my cat and myself with genuine compassion and care. This went as well as something like this could go, and I would definitely recommend Lap of Love to a friend. Also appreciate the late working hours, as I called at 9:50 pm and a very nice person answered the phone and helped me set up an appointment for the next day (love the quick availability too). If you're driving yourself crazy looking at multiple options for this appointment, go with Lap of Love.

I found out that my dog, Ginger, had an aggressive form of cancer, and nothing could be done to fight it. Ginger despised the vet and taking her to the one place she hated more than anything as her last memory would not work. I felt that …

Dr. Lauren Clement was amazing on our very sad day. She was sweet, loving, caring, gentle, and empathic. She made sure our old boy was in no pain. It was the most peaceful pet euthanasia experience I’ve had with any of my pets. Highly recommend.

Liz was amazing. Even though our sweet lab passed away the night before Liz arrived, she spent time talking to us and asking us about Bailey. She didn't rush us at all. She was very thoughtful and very respectful. We truly appreciate that she came into our home and helped us through such a difficult time. Thank you. ????

We had to have a sad but very caring experience with Lap of Love. Our 17yo pup, Penny, went downhill pretty fast and they were very quick in their response time and got to our house that day to send her over the Rainbow Bridge. The vet was very sweet and explained everything to us, was compassionate but professional and eased our minds, and all-in-all, it was a positive send off. They also followed up with calls and information that was helpful to us. I would highly recommend them.

Dr. Colleen Lambo in Austin TX was so kind and patient with us. My cat Jasper fell asleep purring with her little face in a saucer of milk. Absolutely the best experience I could have hoped for. I'm so grateful for the tender love and care that I was able to give in her last moments thanks to Dr. Lambo at Lap of Love. ❤

Dr. Carper was very patient and compassionate. It was hard to say goodbye to my best friend, but the whole experience was very peaceful and better than expected. I needed a same day appointement and she was able to come at short notice. Overall I would highly reccomend this service to anyone struggling with such a difficult decision.

When the time comes, and a cherished pet needs a graceful, caring and gentle goodbye, Dr. Kimberly Carper and Lap of Love are a literal miracle. Of course things like this happen at inconvenient times. Rather than running an aged pet to the emergency room, we were fortunate to have discovered Lap of Love by searching "vet house calls" and "Austin mobile euthanasia" in our hour of need. From the person who answered the phone (at 9:45am on a Sunday morning) until the moment Dr. Carper arrived (at 11:25am) the competence and compassion were remarkable. When Dr. Carper, an experienced veterinarian, arrived she assessed the situation, reviewed available recent medical information, and helped determine that euthanization was the kindest, albeit, the most difficult option. She informed us about the process, what to expect, and allowed us the space to make a decision. We agreed that it was time and in the animal's best interest to proceed. The experience that followed was a beautiful, gentle, and sacred goodbye to this beloved animal. She allowed loved ones time to say goodbye, and she carried him away wrapped in a cozy blanket, tucked into a basket. This was far from the clinical, 'bright lights' scenario we would have faced had we been forced to go through at an emergency vet. If this feedback helps someone who is facing the difficult decision to say goodbye to a pet, is our hope that you have the good fortune to choose Lap of Love. For it is more than just a mobile vet service...it's a ministry. So many thanks to Dr. Carper. Words pale to express the gratitude we all felt for her grace today.
