Aggieland Animal Health Center & the Pet Resort College Station, Texas

My doggies had a great first boarding experience. When looking for a location to board at there were many factors to consider. What I liked about the Aggieland Pet Resort was that my two dogs could board together in the same run, enjoy time in a fenced yard, have multiple outings. Additionally, the biggest relief was consistent communication and knowing that my buddies were safe and received compassionate care as one of them experienced some anxiety. Glad to have them back home happy and clean, with some festive Halloween bandanas.

I have used Aggieland for Dog Boarding before years ago and every experience was amazing. But I recently brought my cat Stewie in when I noticed he was struggling to use the litter box and I was honestly blown away. I felt horrible for imposing on their schedule that day but they knew the risks of what I was describing and asked me to drop Stewie off so they could look at him. Dr. Osborne called me back within the hour and was so thorough with what she found, all of the different possibilities there could be and what she wanted our treatment plan to be and that made me feel so comfortable. She really took her time with both of us and I appreciated that so much. Stewie came home and was SO comfortable and happy! Usually whenever he comes home from a new place, he hides until he is comfortable again. I had such a pleasant and comforting experience with everyone here. Thank you guys so much!

I literally cannot recommend this vet enough, anyone who asks me for a recommendation, I tell them to go here. During the shutdown in 2020, we found a stray 4 week old kitten and Aggieland was the only place in town I could get ahold of. They immediately scheduled us in and got our girl taken care of. They also did her spay because when comparing them to our vet at the time, the price covered way more. They provided calming wipes for us to do at home before she got there, did alot to help her anxiety, and kept her overnight. We moved our other cats over as well because of the customer service and quality. We recently rescued a puppy and unfortunately found out he had parvo. While they couldn't treat him, they recommended a place and called ahead to make sure the place knew I was on my way and explained to them what was happening so I was able to get my puppy faster care. They always welcome in my pets by name when I walk in the door, give all the treats and love, and have great customer service.

Dr. Osborne helped us save our dog by diagnosing her quickly and referring her to the A&M hospital. She called to check on our baby when she was in the ICU. She did not charge us for the consult and everyone was compassionate and kind.

We struggled to find a vet that understands the way to interact with my husband's service dog. After a quick explanation of working dog needs, Dr. Osborne and the amazing staff at AAHC provided the BEST service we could ask for. They addressed my husband instead of speaking to the dog and made slight changes to the exam in order to help facilitate the specialized scent training required for the SD. I will not go back to the other vets in the area!

High level of customer service and attention to detail. We love the courtesy call the following day or week after a visite to ensure our pets well being.

We recently boarded our kitty with Aggieland Pet Resort for the 2nd time. Her first visit went really well - hence our choosing them again. I like the amount of room in their kennel ( kitty condo). Heather and Crystal were the main ladies to care for her. We know Katobi's typical behavior in different situations and based on that when we came to get her, I believe she was treated well. I especially want to give kudos to Lauren. She is not one of the usual caretakers, but when I called to check on Katobi, I was able to give her some additional info to help our VERY timid cat acclimate to her surroundings. Lauren totally went the EXTRA mile. Katobi wasn't eating as much as usual and she put out different types of food, re-arranged some things from home in her kennel and even sprayed a throw from home with some pheromone to help Katobi relax. I also appreciate that they have a pheromone plug-in in the area where the cats are. I told Lauren that I generally talk to Katobi in 'baby talk' and Lauren did that also! (I will be sure to mention that as soon as we bring her next time) I also like that the dogs are kept in a totally separate area. You can't even hear any dogs from where the cats are kenneled. EVERYONE I dealt with - from Brianna to the ladies I mentioned above AND the manager were very nice to deal with. After we brought Katobi home, they even called to see how she was doing. I'm so glad we chose Aggieland Pet Resort twice now and will do so in the future. Pam Birmingham

my 9 week old puppy threw up a roundworm one night so the next morning i took her to this vet. they dewormed her, gave her shots & meds (charged me 200$. i asked them to do all of the most important stuff to get my puppy back healthy) they said she would start eating again & that she would be feeling better.once we got home henny wouldnt leave her bed for hours and still wouldnt eat. i switched the dog food from hard to soft, even went out to buy chicken broth & electrolytes but nothing i did had showed progress. she wouldnt even bring her face close to any food. i waited until the next day hoping she’d eat & she didnt so i called the vet & told them. they told me it would cost 60$ to do another examination on my puppy to see what was wrong with her & more charges once found out. i found no point of going there again once my puppy had been there before & id been charged 200$ the first time saying that she’d be all better the next day. my puppy died the next day .. im heart broken. she died right in front of me. this was my first experience at a vet & i regret it. i spent so much money , thinking that i was saving my puppy.. but instead , i only made her sickness worse. i couldve went to walmart & buy a 20$-50$ dewormer & took a chance rather than listen to their workers tell me she would be okay. this all happened so fast. like 5 days ago she was jumping on the sofa & playing with her toys with not a problem. not only did i lose a friend, but i also wasted a handful of money. ~Rip Henessy

We have used Aggieland Animal Health/Pet Resort for almost 5 years. I was very impressed when taking a tour of the facility before taking my dogs there. Animal lovers themselves, they understand owners’ concerns. We are extremely pleased with the service and care they take with our furry ones on the veterinary side as well as the boarding side. Lauren and Andrea do a terrific job with the front office and always call us by name when we arrive. Great customer service all around!

My dog had a medical issue. I called his normal vet and they told me it would be a week before they could see him. Then their normal vet said it sounded serious but could do anything until next week. I asked her if she was in pain and couldnt walk could you wait a week? I drove around college station and found Aggieland Animal Vet. They said they had several appointments as well but they insisted I bring my dog anyway for them to look at him and would work him in between other appointments. Within 30 min of me dropping off my dog they called me back and told me what was going on with him and treatment options. I was impressed. The staff was incredibly. I loved how the doctor took the time and personally called me back regarding the treat of my puppy. They have everything there. This was Juneau's first visit and he loved the staff and Doctors. My top pick for vet in college station. Thank you Aggieland

Very disappointed, we were excited to use Aggieland unfortunately our dog was injured while under their care.They did cover our boarding costs, however we still had vet bills because I had to take him to the ER. We are hoping they took care of the exposed dangers that caused this injury so it doesn’t happen again!! Just be mindful and ask questions when taking your loved pets in.

Aggieland Animal Health Center & Pet Resort is an outstanding facility that is conscientious and dedicated to providing the greatest possible quality of care to their patients and guests. My dog is a frequent visitor, and I know that she is in good hands while she is there. The staff is professional, kind and committed to service. Boarding, routine visit, or emergency situation - they always put the patient first and their genuine dedication to improving an animal's quality of life is evident.

Excellent care of pets. Compassionate and knowledgeable. Also offering homeopathic treatments such as cold laser therapy and acupuncture.

I've been going here for about 8 years and not once had a bad experience. My only complaint is that it's overpriced to kennel your pets here.

Picked up my dog after a 15 day stay. And was shocked that she looked so skinny. I called the clinic to discuss this and they offered a complementary checkup. I was actually highly impressed that they would take the time to make sure she was okay. They did a great job looking at her and I’m very glad that I had placed her in their care. This place is a very caring enviroment and I would recommend this place to anyone for their quality care they have towards the animals

We love Aggieland Animal Health Center & Pet Resort. Drs. Hannes and Osborne are amazing. They are caring and compassionate as they treat our fragile 21 year old cat, and discuss everything thoroughly with us every step of the way. The staff are equally outstanding and make us and our kitty comfortable every visit. I highly recommend Aggieland Animal Health Center & Pet Resort in College Station. They truly are the very best!

Overpriced and dishonest. The manager Laura is AWFUL. She is condescending and phony and dishonest. The staff treats the customers like they’re stupid, it’s super annoying coming from a receptionist. Unfortunately I invested a lot of time and money there when I moved to town, so I tried to suffer through their service, but I will never go back. If you like being spoken to like you’re the stupid one, then by all means use this place.

They always treat my dogs with the utmost care and compassion. I trust them with my dogs lives, health and happiness.

Wonderful place for our pets. Our puppies are happy to see the staff when they stay with Aggieland. We have had them stay with other kennels and this place does go above the norm for care. The client service staff was very helpful especially Lauren . Thanks for all the care!*** Update 10/24/18 - My old dog came in for a check up, she got to frisky and hurt her back, the Doctors and Staff were wonderful in figuring out her pain issue. Thank you!

We take our Yorkee Poo here and I cant say enough.. The staff is so friendly. They answer all of your questions. They put any concerns to rest. It is so clean. Our dog never comes home stressed. She gets a bath before we pick her up. They have so much to offer. We love knowing she is being so well taken care of. I would reccomend Aggieland to everyone.
