VCA Premier Animal Hospital and Pet Resort Cedar Park, Texas

This hospital is great. Services are just a little too pricy. Dr. Hamby takes his time to explain and answer our questions. He makes sure that we understand what he is talking about. Very knowledgeable and thorough.

They were able to get us in on referral faster from another vet for a small surgery, lower price, great service and care.

Our two cats are seniors and we were hit with diabetes for one, and urinary tract problems with the other. Dr. Kelly at this VCA is amazing! She treats our babies like her own. She always takes the time to answer all our questions and develops an effective care plan for our babies. We wouldn’t go to anyone else, thank you Dr. Kelly!

I’ve been going here for years with the family pets. Dr Miller is great with dogs and cats, and obviously cares a lot about his patients. My cat has been struggling with a chronic ear infection for years, so after multiple medications we were referred to a dermatologist, and Dr Miller even got an ear cleaning in while my cat was under anesthesia for dental work. Only con is wait times can be a bit long, even with a scheduled appointment.

This place cost me an arm and a leg. Our dog had a vomiting issue, and they added various tests that are not usually necessary for this type of issue, namely x-ray, blood test, etc. The same condition was treated $500 lower last year in another pet hospital near our old place. Yes you can easily get a same day service, but be careful about the expensive cost. I don't know if it's because of lacking experiences that they have to do additional tests to rule out issues than other hospitals. Will not recommend.

Avoid this place if you have a medium to large dog. These vets treat animals without care, hoisting my dog by the neck to the point his eyes and ears were red as blood, before I came into the room and stopped them. Vet had sent me out of the room before attacking my dog into submission, and I've never heard him squeal so much before. Before even starting the inspection they dragged my dog by the collar to the corner of the room and pinned him down with their legs, just to look at his face. I came here for an emergency and left to avoid further injury to my dog.

They are absolutely horrible service, and the Doctors are questionable with their care and service. I would not recommend this place to Cujo, they would injure him too

We love Dr.Rabon! Our bird dog has LOTS of energy and excitement and Dr. Rabon and his team are always very patient and loving to him!

My mom's cat gave birth June 12th, momma cat has some engorgement on her left side and I was worried about her having Mastitis. I got her an appointment right away the same morning I called and got seen within 5mins of arriving to the clinic. It was a fast and painless appointment.

Took our dog here Saturday morning 5/22/2021 because he was having seizures they did labs and we were told that he was stable. His levels were not high enough to put him on seizure medication and that they would recheck him in a month. The next morning he passed away having a grand mal seizure. Was very disappointed and angry with decision by veterinarian.

They were able to get me in same day! Took great care of my pup and never made me feel like they were rushed. They took the time to explain everything to me and got my pup the help she needed. Thank y’all for everything!!

This vet is great with answering questions and really seem to care about my cats. I tried taking them to another vet and they did a horrible job in comparison. Very happy with this vet!

My pup is 9 yrs old & has been with Premier since he came home from the shelter at 18 month old. They have always taken extremely good care of him. Listen to all my concerns, never rushed and although my pup can sometimes have an attitude they are always patience with him. Dr Hamby is the best!! Also kuddos to the Vet Techs.

OMG the people at Premier Hospital are amazing! From the ladies in the lobby to the doctors and assistants! Everyone is just the best! Our puppy always has a seizure when we take her to any veterinarian, so when we got there we explained this to the ladies at the front desk, Doctor Noel and his assistant Emma came out to the parking lot and saw our baby in the parking lot! Not only that, he then brought his ultrasound machine out to the parking lot to examine our beautiful husky. They went above and beyond to help us and doctor Noel explained everything he was doing and what he was finding through the ultrasound. They were great! We love this place!! Ed and Patti Ortiz

Been bringing our dogs here to get groomed for the past few years. We live the place.

Been going here for over a decade. Always been treated well and my animals were always well cared for. Genuinely a staff thay loves and cares about animals.

Not sure why this hospital had glowing reviews. I took my deaf, special needs dog to this hospital and they were anything BUT accommodating. Staff was extremely unprofessional. Listen to a nurse talk poorly of me on the phone. Another nurse called my dog “sketchy” while I was in the room. Doctor did little to nothing to look at my pet. She prescribed me with medicine that made no change in my pets condition. I just visited another vet, Vista Vet on university Blvd. Night and day difference in the care I received. VCA overcharged me, a complete scam. And the meds they prescribed me were not even effective for my dogs condition. Have tried to contact upper management several times and no response. Horrible place, highly recommend visiting Vista Vet before you visit VCA.

I have taken my dogs here to VCA Premier Animal Hospital for years because they've always done a great job but here recently I dont feel they are doing all they are saying they are doing now that the parents of these animals are not able to go inside with them while getting examined. I find that the staff is very forgetful. Now, I do understand with this unfortunate pandemic why parents can't go in, I just dont understand if we wear masks and gloves and stay six feet away from the staff why we cant go in with our pets when they are not feeling well. I feel here lately they are not doing everything they are saying they are doing, which is very unfortunate because the prices they charge are a little steep. They had to come out to my car 2 extra times after telling me that my dog was good to go home and this is because I had to call them back. They had to take my dog back in because they forgot to weigh her and then brought her back out telling me her weight and giving me some of her medications but not all of it so I had to call again for them to bring out the rest of it and this was over a 2 hour time period. I feel their services are going down but this is just my opinion.

The people are so nice and quick. Got my cats nails clipped and it took less than 10 mins. Just moved here from San Antonio and this will be my vet from here on out. They were amazing!!

We went to VCA until recently when covid started even though we moved to Georgetown 5 yrs ago and it's a decent drive. Anyways, I have no complaints at Al about them. They open on Saturdays which for us was super amazing and convenient. The doctors were personable and knowledgeable. I always asked questions and they never hesitated to answer them. I never felt like they were trying to get more "things" done on my dogs just to get money. I feel that their prices are pretty comparable and fair. Their office reps are friendly and very helpful. We only left them bc driving our dogs there was difficult so we had to find someone local. I recommend them to anyone looking for a trusted vet.
