Affordable Pet Care Cedar Park, Texas

I love this vet!!! Not only are they incredibly affordable, but they explained everything in detail yesterday and my puppy was able to get all his medications right there and it was under $100 for everything. I heard the doctor tell the vet techs how goofy my puppy was and he was laughing about something funny he did and it just made me smile and showed that they truly love animals and have a passion for them.

This place is amazing! The staff is so sweet and welcoming, they always make me and my pups feel like we’re at home! The prices are beyond affordable. And they always take such good care of my fur babies!! I know my dogs are in great hands with them, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my babies. Thankyou guys for all that you do! I have been coming here for years, with my 3 dogs & before when I moved here with my 2 older dogs that have since passed on. They have always been accommodating, friendly, and the cost is the best that I have found. I have recommended them to all my family & friends.

Vet told me my dogs were at the perfect weight. I shouldn't have blindly believed what the vet said. After seeing how dogs were showing a lot of bone, took them to another vet. My dogs were very underweight according to the other vet and they had to gain 8 pounds each. The vet here didnt even know the normal weight between a mini vs a standard form of the breed. Google had the answer. Vet was nice and caring but I really doubt the training and knowledge

I love this place. Doctors & techs care and it shows. My cat had an ear issue and I found something online that was working and inexpensive. Doctor said keep it up and did NOT try to upsell me on their products. My dog is always in good hands. I have recommended to friends and they love it, too. Keep up the great work!

I’ve been taking my 3 dogs to the Lakeline location for several years. The reason I go is because it DOES seem to be “affordable” and the doctor we see is knowledgeable. But his vet assistants are not... the customer service is mediocre... and even the doctor is always rushing me out the door. Most times I have questions about recommended care for either my geriatric pet and/or brand new puppy. Once, he actually cut me off and said goodbye. ???? Definitely turned me off. But I guess I’m getting my needs met, and it is less costly than the other clinics I’ve visited. So for now, I continue to go.

Don't make an appointment here without calling in advance before you leave your house on the day of, just to make sure they actually put you in their schedule. I called on Wednesday, made an appointment for Friday at 3:20. When I got there on Friday at 3:12 the woman working at the front desk said that she couldn't find me in their system. She told me that they had a 3:20 appointment but it was for someone else. At this point it was already 3:17 (there was a 3 person line when I walked in) and she told me I could wait and see if the 3:20 appointment comes in because "sometimes people just don't show up." A lady came in and started talking to the front desk woman and said that she had an appointment for 3:50 but was wondering if she checked in now if she could be seen before then. The lady at the front desk said sure just let me check you in. If you can get someone in almost 30 minutes before their scheduled appointment, then why can you not get my dog in? Especially since it is NOT my fault that the person did not schedule my appointment like they said that they had when I called on Wednesday. I speak up and ask if she had checked me in yet, even though she couldn't find me in their system. She replied that no, she had not and that she would have to ask the vet to see if I could be seen. Mind you, all my dog and I were there for was his yearly vaccines (just two immunizations). She walks to the back and at this point it is 3:25 and the 3:20 appointment shows up. Needless to say she came back and said no we cannot see you today, and said it in way like I was just someone who decided to walk in and not call in advance to make an appointment; no apology at all. I even made sure on my cell phone that it was their number that I called on Wednesday and double checked with the front desk woman that it was indeed their number and still got no apology. She did not even offer to make me an appointment for a different day. I was a customer for two years here but I'm sorry to say that I will not be coming back and I will no longer be referring my customers to this establishment (I work for a pet store) as I would not want them to make the drive down there and experience the same thing happen to them.

Great place for vaccines and general check ups! Keep in mind that this is not a full service vet... if your pet is in need of urgent care, you need to build a relationship with a nearby pet ER.

In all honesty this facility does not even deserve one star. My bulldog died due to lack of concern and education. If a dog is sick you do not tell a customer we cannot get you in until tomorrow. Second, do not try to sale me on neutering …

I love Affordable Pet Care! Things must have improved since the two negative reviews. Dr. Thompson is wonderful with our four legged kids and explains everything in a language I can understand. He takes his time and I believe him and his staff really care about my "kids". If there is a serious issue that requires x-rays or surgery, Dr. Thompson can handle at the other clinic he works at, Cedar Park Animal Clinic. It is a relief to have someone I trust caring for my "kids". If you happen to call and get the recording, they have only stepped away from the front desk for a moment. They will call you back promptly. I highly recommend Affordable Pet Care.
